> Quick view: Gatti Sports Factory Outlet, the Rawang-based dealer that tours Malaysian malls with a sportswear clearance, has set up its latest Jualan Mega inside its own permanent shop at Design Village, Batu Kawan. It runs from 23 September to 11 October 2026, 11am to 10pm. The prices below come from Gatti's own Facebook post announcing this leg, plus the shelf cards in the photos attached to that post.

What's on sale and at what price

Gatti's post lists these prices, word for word from its Malay caption:

  • Gatti shoe bag: RM8
  • Jerseys: from RM10
  • Branded caps: from RM29
  • Branded running shoes: from RM59
  • Badminton rackets: from RM79
  • Kids' shoes: 2 pairs for RM80
  • Football boots: 2 pairs for RM50
  • Gatti shoes, slippers and backpacks: Buy 1 Free 1
  • Accessories (backpacks, sports bags, caps, balls and so on): 30% to 50% off
  • Special promo: "All Pxma Shoe" Buy 1 Free 1, excluding slippers and sandals (the post spells the brand that way)

The photos in the same post show more specific shelf cards. A rack of Gatti running shoes is marked 1 for RM99, 2 for RM149. A PUMA tee is RM39 (usual price RM70), one PUMA shoe is RM99 (usual price RM199), and other PUMA footwear cards read 40%, 70% and 75% off selected pairs. Treat these as examples of what is on the floor, not a full price list.

Member extras

This leg adds member perks that the recent Perak and Johor legs didn't all carry:

  1. Join as a member and you get an RM10 voucher.
  2. Gold members get an extra 10% off.
  3. Platinum members get an extra 20% off.
  4. Members who spend RM100 go into a lucky draw.

The post doesn't say what it takes to become Gold or Platinum, what the RM10 voucher's minimum spend is, or whether the extra percentage applies on top of bundle prices like "2 for RM50". Ask at the counter before you build your basket around it.

Worked examples

A football family with two kids. Two pairs of football boots (RM50) plus two pairs of school-and-play shoes (RM80) is RM130 for four pairs, or RM32.50 a pair. Add two RM10 jerseys and the bill is RM150, which clears the RM100 lucky-draw line. If the new-member RM10 voucher applies to that bill, you'd pay about RM140.

A runner replacing worn trainers. The Gatti rack at 2 for RM149 works out to RM74.50 a pair. The second pair costs just RM50 more than the first (RM99), so if you run often, buying two to rotate is the better deal. A shoe bag (RM8) takes the total to RM157.

A badminton player. A racket from RM79 plus a Gatti Buy 1 Free 1 pair of court shoes covers the kit in one trip. The racket price is a starting point, so check whether the model you want is in that bracket or in the higher tiers.

Who it's good for, and who should skip it

Good for: parents buying for growing kids, school sports teams and clubs kitting out several players, and casual runners who don't need a specific model. The bundle prices reward buying in pairs.

Skip it if you want a particular performance shoe in a particular size. Clearance racks run thin on popular sizes, and there's no way to reserve stock. If you live on the island and only need one small item, the drive may cost you more than you save.

Getting there

Design Village is on the mainland (Seberang Perai) side in Batu Kawan, near the Penang end of the Second Penang Bridge, not in George Town. From the island, plan roughly 30 to 45 minutes by car depending on traffic. Mall hours are 11am to 10pm, which match the sale hours.

The sale is inside Gatti's own shop at Lot G46-G51. The post lists G46-49 and Gatti's store directory lists G46-G51, so it's the same ground-floor unit. The mall's own Syoknya Merdeka Sale (spend RM500 in a single same-day receipt to redeem a prize) runs to 27 September. We haven't seen Gatti named as a participant, so check at the mall's customer service desk before counting on it.

Fine print that trips people up

  • "From" means the cheapest item in a range. RM59 running shoes and RM79 rackets are floor prices, not the price of every pair on the shelf.
  • Two different PUMA offers appear in one post. The caption says "All Pxma Shoe" Buy 1 Free 1. The attached photos show PUMA shelf cards at 40-75% off instead. Ask which applies to the pair you're holding before you queue.
  • Buy 1 Free 1 covers Gatti's own brand (shoes, slippers, backpacks). Don't assume it extends to other brands in the shop.
  • Member discounts are unexplained. Tier rules and stacking aren't in the post.
  • This isn't the only Gatti sale on. A separate Gatti leg at Level UG, Palm Mall Seremban runs 23 September to 4 October, 10am to 10pm, with the same headline list (per the EverydayOnSales listing; Gatti's own post for that leg wasn't reachable when we checked). Other Penang shoppers can also try Gatti's shops at Prangin Mall (Level 3) and 1st Avenue Mall (Lot 3-13), but the Jualan Mega prices are only confirmed for Design Village.
  • Online is a different deal. Gatti's webstore gattisfo.com lists standing vouchers (RM3 off RM50, RM5 off RM150, RM30 off RM250, RM50 off RM500), but not the Design Village sale prices.

The source for this leg is Gatti Sports Factory Outlet's Facebook post, checked 24 September 2026.
