> Quick view: Genting Highlands Premium Outlets runs its 15th Anniversary Sale from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 September 2026, 10am to 10pm daily, with a headline of savings up to 80%. The centre's anniversary listing names 73 dated brand offers; its deals index names 43. Thirty-four brands appear on one page only, one appears on the other only, and eleven are described differently on each. Skechers is on both pages but not on its own store page. The RM200 cable car redemption works on Thursday alone.
What is actually on
Genting Highlands Premium Outlets marks its fifteenth year with a four-day tenant sale at KM13, Genting Highlands Resorts. The centre's own artwork sets the headline at "save up to 80%" and the hours at 10am to 10pm on all four days, Thursday 10 September through Sunday 13 September 2026.
Two of those four days are a weekend, which matters more here than at a lowland mall. The drive up is the cost of entry, and the centre's own supporting offers (the cable car, the train ride, the Genting Rewards tie-up) all behave differently depending on which day you pick.
The sale itself is a stack of individual tenant offers rather than one mall-wide discount. Seventy of the 73 offers on the anniversary listing are dated 10 to 13 September. The other three run the longer window of 1 to 13 September: Aigner, Max Mara and Melium Designer Outlet. Their terms are identical on all thirteen days, so there is no reason to wait for the weekend if one of those three is the reason you are going. If anything the weekend works against you, because the car park and the queues will be at their worst.
The offers worth the drive
Three brands carry a genuine headline markdown rather than a multi-buy tier. Akemi Outlet at Suite 902 publishes up to 80% off storewide with an extra 30% on three selected items or an extra 15% on two, which is the deepest number anywhere on the listing. Sacoor Outlet at Suite 126 runs up to 75% on selected items. Kate Spade New York at Suite 534 runs up to 69%.
Coach at Suite 800 is the one most people will care about: 50% off storewide, flat, no basket condition. Armani at Suite 608, Guess, Renoma, Rip Curl, Giordano, Superdry Outlet, Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club, b.space Outlet, Anta, Anta Kids, Cotton On Body and Cotton On Kids all sit at up to 70%.
Then there are the mechanics that beat a percentage outright if you were buying two of something anyway. Citizen at Suite 522 sells a second selected watch for RM1. Ball Watch at Suite 128 is buy one selected item, get one free. La Senza at Suite 402 is buy one, get three. Sacoor Blue at Suite 544 is two selected items for RM99. Bath & Body Works at Suite 814 is two for RM90, Camel Active at Suite 208 is two for RM150, and Poney Outlet at Suite 634 is four for RM100, which is RM25 an item and the cheapest published unit price at the centre this weekend.
For a fixed price rather than a discount, Carlo Rino at Suite 218 has selected items at RM159, City Chain has them from RM99, Beauty Scents at Suite 818 at RM99, Triumph from RM50 and Focus Point Outlet at Suite 221 from RM30. Travel For All runs a five-step ladder: single items at RM297, RM348 or RM399, two selected items at RM599, three at RM899.
The arithmetic that changes the answer
Two brands are running the same RM69 rebate on wildly different thresholds. LeSportsac gives RM69 back on a RM450 purchase, which is 15.3% off. Furla gives the same RM69 back on RM1,600, which is 4.3%. That is the same coupon at three and a half times the spend.
The Furla case gets worse on a second look. Furla runs a standing VIP Shopper offer all year, 1 January to 31 December 2026, of 10% off with a RM1,800 single receipt. On RM1,800 that is RM180 back. The anniversary offer gives you RM69 on RM1,600. If you are already a signed-up VIP Shopper and you were going to spend at that level anyway, the sale offer is the weaker of the two, and the centre never says whether they can be combined.
Stacked percentages compound, they do not add. Marc Jacobs at Suite 810 shows 50% off storewide plus an extra 30% on three selected items on the deals index. That is 65% off, not 80%. On three bags with a combined rack price of RM1,200 you pay RM420, not RM240. Aigner's "additional 20% + 10%" line compounds to 28%, and its "10% + 10%" line to 19%.
Aigner carries a second wrinkle. It also has a year-round VIP Shopper offer of an additional 10% on selected items. Whether the second 10% inside the sale line is that same VIP discount written twice, or a separate one on top, is not stated anywhere. Ask at the till rather than assuming.
Thirty-four brands that never reach the deals page
The centre publishes its offers on two pages, and they are not the same list. The deals index carries 43 live cards. The anniversary listing carries 73 dated entries. Thirty-four brands are on the listing and nowhere on the index, including Coach, Citizen, La Senza, Ball Watch, Kate Spade New York, Michael Kors, Armani, Bally, Birkenstock, Bonia, Braun Büffel, Calvin Klein, Camel Active, Cotton On and its Body and Kids lines, Fila, Asics Factory Outlet, Galeries Voir, Giordano, Hour Passion, Kenzo, Krispy Kreme, Lee, Montigo, Sacoor Blue, Samsonite Factory Outlet, Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club, Soda, Superdry Outlet, Swarovski, Tefal, Bath & Body Works and Beauty Scents.
Coach is the one to think about there, because it is the flattest and simplest offer of the weekend and it exists on exactly one of the centre's surfaces. It is not on the deals index. It is not on the deals index's VIP tab either, which carries 44 brands with standing year-round offers and does not carry Coach. And the Coach store page at Suite 800 shows no deal at all. Fifty per cent off storewide, at one of the most-searched brands in the centre, is published in a single place.
Worth noticing too: the deals index's own banner headline reads "Discover More For Less At Up to 65% Off" while the anniversary artwork sells the weekend at up to 80%. Both are the centre's own words, on the centre's own site, on the same morning.
Traffic runs the other way exactly once. Nike Factory Store at Suite 508 is on the deals index with 50% off storewide on two items or 30% on one, dated 1 to 15 September, and does not appear on the anniversary listing at all.
And Longchamp, at Suite 542, is printed by name on the centre's own campaign artwork alongside Armani, Coach, Marc Jacobs and Max Mara, yet has no published offer on either page. If Longchamp is your reason for going, call the Information Center on +603 6433 8888 first.
Where the mall contradicts itself
Eleven brands are described differently on the two pages, and in several cases the mechanic itself is different, not merely the wording. The table above sets them out side by side. The sharpest are New Balance, where the deals index sells a third selected item for RM1 while the anniversary listing offers 50% off three items, and Puma, where the deals index runs buy two selected items get two free across the whole of September while the listing runs 70% off three selected items for the four sale days only.
Those two Puma offers reward opposite baskets. Buy two get two caps out at 50% off, and only if the free pair matches the paid pair in value. For it to match a flat 70% the free items would have to be worth roughly 2.3 times the paid ones. So if you want three Puma items, the 70% line wins outright, and if you want four of similar value, the buy-two-get-two line is the better of the two. The centre never reconciles them, so ask which one the store is actually honouring before you build a basket around either.
The other two are a quieter kind of disagreement, and they cost you money in only one direction. On Guess at Suite 404 the anniversary listing prints a single line, "savings up to 70%". The deals index card for the same four days prints that line and three more underneath it: an extra 25% on four selected items, an extra 20% on three, an extra 10% on two. A shopper who reads only the listing has no idea that walking out with a fourth item is worth another quarter off.
Sunglass Hut Outlet at Suite 206 is the sharpest of the lot, because it is running three live offers at once and the anniversary listing shows you one of them. The listing has up to 50% off selected items with an extra 10% on three and an extra 5% on two, dated to the four sale days. The deals index carries that card and a second one the listing never mentions: RM200 back on RM1,000 of selected items, or RM120 back on RM600, dated 24 August to 20 September. And the store's own page adds a third, the year-round VIP Shopper card at an extra 10%. The RM200 rebate is a flat 20% on a RM1,000 basket, it needs no multi-buy tier to reach, and it is still alive for a week after the anniversary sale has closed.
The Skechers offer is filed under a shop that no longer exists
Skechers has an anniversary offer, a complimentary gift on a RM500 purchase, and it is on both the anniversary listing and the deals index. It is the one offer in the campaign that reaches neither of the surfaces a shopper actually uses to find a shop.
The deal card renders on the deals index under the label "SKECHERS SPECIAL SALE", with the brand name printed twice, because the card is not attached to the live Skechers shop record at all. It is attached to a second, unpublished Skechers record that gives the address as Suite 106. The Skechers page a shopper reaches from the centre's store directory is a different record, at Suite 100 on High Street, and it lists no deal whatsoever. Open it and the deals slot simply stays empty.
So: the gift is real and it is published, the shop is at Suite 100 on High Street with the phone number +6013 347 8832, and the Suite 106 attached to the offer belongs to a record the centre has taken down. If a staff member tells you there is no Skechers promotion because it is not on the store page, the offer is on the anniversary listing and on the deals index, both dated 10 to 13 September.
You cannot use a Malaysian Maybank card for the RM50 voucher
Running underneath the anniversary sale, from 20 April to 31 December 2026, is a Genting Highlands Premium Outlets and Maybank redemption programme: spend RM1,000 across two receipts and redeem a RM50 Premium Outlets gift voucher at the Information Center.
The line that matters is in brackets at the bottom of the centre's own listing. The programme is valid for selected Maybank cards issued in Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Cambodia and Brunei. Malaysia is not on that list. A Malaysian-issued Maybank card, which is what almost every domestic visitor to Genting is carrying, gets nothing from this programme at all.
It is a foreign-visitor offer sitting on a Malaysian mall's own events page with no signposting, and RM1,000 over two receipts is exactly the kind of threshold a local shopper would plan a basket around. If you are visiting from one of those five markets, take the receipts to the Information Center; if you are not, ignore it and spend the RM200 on the cable car redemption instead.
The cable car is a Thursday thing
This is the single piece of planning that saves the most money. Spending RM200 in one receipt lets you redeem one cable car return ticket at the Information Center. That redemption runs Monday to Thursday and excludes public holidays. Of the four sale days, Thursday 10 September is the only one that qualifies.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays get a different redemption instead: a complimentary train ride ticket on a RM200 single receipt, and that one is restricted to Premium Outlets Malaysia mobile app members. Both are handled at the Information Center, and both run 1 January to 31 December 2026, so neither is anniversary-specific.
Running alongside them, the Premium Outlets x Genting Rewards tie-up is live from 9 September to 31 December 2026. Earn 6GP in a single day at the outlet and you can pull a Genting SkyWorlds 1-Day Standard Ticket through the RW Genting app; 3GP gets a Skytropolis 1-Day Unlimited Ride Pass, and 2GP gets two Eufloria Gardens & Sculpture Park tickets. At Genting Rewards' published rate of 1GP per RM100 spent, those are RM600, RM300 and RM200 of shopping in one day.
Shop More. Win Bigger.
The contest attached to the anniversary outlives the sale by a week. It runs 10 to 20 September 2026 and is deliberately combined across Genting Highlands Premium Outlets and Johor Premium Outlets, so spending at either or both accumulates into one top-18 ranking.
The prize list is worth over RM100,000. The highest total spender takes RM30,000 in Premium Outlets gift vouchers. Second place is a trip to Seoul for two including return flights and accommodation, third is the same to Shanghai, and the next fifteen highest spenders each get a Sony PlayStation 5.
There is no minimum spend and no cap on how many receipts you submit. The mechanics are strict, though: original receipts only, presented at the Information Center on the same day as the purchase, with participation registered through the "VIP Deals" section of the Premium Outlets Malaysia mobile app. Reprinted receipts are rejected outright, each receipt counts once, and any receipt already stamped "redeemed" is dead for this contest and for every other programme at the centre. That last rule matters: if you use a receipt for the cable car redemption, it will not also count towards the contest.
Winners are announced on 1 October 2026 and contacted on the details provided. If a winner cannot be reached within seven days, the centre may pick someone else. Staff, brand partners and their immediate families are excluded.
Free food, if you get there early
Four outlets give something away to the first 75 customers each day from 10 to 13 September: a Caramel Almond Pretzel at Auntie Anne's, a Watermelon Lychee Crush at Boost, a Kit Kat or Biscoff Cookie Crumb Doughnut at Krispy Kreme, and an Iced Mango Sweet Tea at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. The centre is also running cotton candy and popcorn giveaways and two game activations, Shake & Score and Strike It Fast, across the same four days.
Seventy-five a day is small. If the free doughnut is part of your reason for going, treat the 10am opening as the actual deadline.
Who should skip this
Anyone buying a single item. Most of the offers on the listing are tiered multi-buys: an extra 10% on two, 15% on three, 20% on four. Hush Puppies and Obermain are both structured exactly that way, and neither publishes a headline markdown at all, so a single purchase gets you nothing beyond the everyday outlet price.
Existing Furla VIP Shoppers, for the reason set out above. Anyone carrying a Malaysian-issued Maybank card, as far as the RM50 voucher programme goes: it is for cards issued in five other countries only.
And anyone whose whole trip depends on one specific brand: with 34 offers published on only one of the two pages, one brand on the artwork with no offer anywhere, eleven brands described two different ways, and one filed under the wrong suite number, a phone call to the Information Center before you drive up is worth more than any of the discounts in this article.
The details
Genting Highlands Premium Outlets, KM13, Genting Highlands Resorts, 69000 Genting Highlands, Pahang Darul Makmur. Information Center telephone +603 6433 8888, fax +603 6433 8810. Centre hours are 10am to 10pm, Monday to Sunday. All figures here were read off the centre's own anniversary listing, deals index, VIP deals tab and store pages, first on 9 September 2026 and re-read in full on the morning of 10 September 2026, the sale's opening day. Nothing had moved between the two readings: the listing still carries 73 dated offers, the index still carries 43 cards, and Longchamp's Suite 542 page still shows no deal. The centre reserves the right to change or withdraw any of them without notice.
