> Quick view: HomePro Malaysia's August Payday Sale ended on 25 August 2026 — its campaign page now loads with an empty product grid. Re-checked against HomePro's own site on 1 September 2026, the deepest live offer is a Nationwide Warehouse Sale, 27 August to 6 September 2026, which HomePro does not list on its promotions page at all. The Merdeka Celebration campaign runs to 21 September 2026. The steepest cut we could verify today is a Faber 12-inch table fan at RM299 → RM119 (60%), and the same Sharp 55-inch TV is RM200 cheaper on the Warehouse Sale page than in HomePro's own Merdeka mailer.
Is the Payday Sale still on?
No — and neither July's round nor August's survives. July's ran 22–31 July 2026; August's ran 18–25 August 2026 and closed on schedule. Checked on 1 September 2026, HomePro's August Payday campaign page at `homepro.com.my/sales/AUGPAYDAY2026SALES` still resolves but returns an empty product grid — the cleanest proof a HomePro campaign is dead, because a live one always renders its SKUs.
That is the genuinely useful thing about this format: HomePro does not extend a Payday round, it opens the next one. Both rounds so far landed in the second half of the month — 22–31 July, then 18–25 August — so a September round, if the pattern holds, would open around mid-month. HomePro had published no September date as of 1 September 2026, and we will not invent one.
What HomePro actually has live right now
Four campaigns. Only three of them are on HomePro's promotions page — and the one that is missing is the best.
- Nationwide Warehouse Sale — 27 August to 6 September 2026. Billed on HomePro's own banner as "Display Unit Clearance! Last Unit For Grab", covering housewares, electrical appliances, bathroom and furniture. It does not appear on `/promotions` at all — it lives on the homepage banner rail and at `homepro.com.my/sales/AUG26NATIONWIDEWAREHOUSESALES`. It is the deepest of the four and the first to close.
- Merdeka Celebration — 4 August to 21 September 2026. The long seasonal campaign, with a "Merdeka Super Shock" section and a 24-page mailer.
- Aug Chang Kaew Brand Sales — 5 August to 5 September 2026. Read honestly, this one is a flat 10% off and only on glass blocks — 23 SKUs, most of them RM11.90 → RM10.70. It is a brand page, not a sale.
- Floor & Wall Tiles Category Sales — 3 August to 7 September 2026. Five brands: Tara, Duragres, Guocera, Citigres and White Horse. Most tiles on the page sit at list price; the cuts that do exist run to about 30%, such as a 60×60cm Tara White Calacata at RM65.90 → RM45.90.
Three campaigns that were live in late August have since closed: the August Payday Sale (25 Aug), the Bathroom Clearance Sales (31 Aug) and the New App Registration 2026 offer (31 Aug).
The Warehouse Sale is the one to shop
Prices below were read from HomePro's own Warehouse Sale grid and confirmed against each SKU's product page on 1 September 2026. Every line carries a limited-stock flag — this is display-unit clearance, so stock is per store and thin.
Where the 60% headline actually lives — fans:
- Faber FTF Classico 128, 12-inch 35W table fan (SKU 1079959) — RM299 → RM119 (60%)
- Faber FSF Classico 169, 16-inch 50W stand fan (SKU 1079960) — RM489 → RM199 (59%)
- Cornell CFN-S1601, 16-inch stand fan (SKU 1080155) — RM159 → RM69 (56%)
- Cornell CAC-45R, 45-litre 120W air cooler (SKU 1080721) — RM1,257 → RM599 (52%)
Big-ticket items, where the discount actually lands:
- Haier HD100-A357S8, 10kg front-load dryer (SKU 1084578) — RM4,999 → RM2,499 (50%)
- Haier HSD512S6, 5.1.2-channel 360W soundbar (SKU 1080548) — RM2,999 → RM1,499 (50%)
- Elba EGH-N8042G(BK), 2-burner 4.8kW 76cm gas hob (SKU 1067813) — RM739 → RM369 (50%)
- Sharp 4TC55HJ6000X, 55-inch 4K UHD Google TV (SKU 1082025) — RM3,299 → RM1,699 (48%)
- LG FB1209S6M, 9kg front-load washer (SKU 1074836) — RM2,499 → RM1,299 (48%)
- Haier H65S90EUX, 65-inch 4K HQLED 144Hz Google TV (SKU 1078190) — RM4,999 → RM2,799 (44%)
- Haier HWM100-316S6, 10kg top-load washer (SKU 1074325) — RM1,150 → RM749 (35%)
- Livinox LWH-MS-DC-RGM-2 DC-pump rain shower heater (SKU 1084208) — RM1,009 → RM699 (31%)
Air conditioning, the shallowest band of all:
- Haier HS-10VRB06 1.0HP inverter (SKU 1085191) — RM2,139 → RM1,299 (39%)
- Sharp AH-X10BED 1.0HP J-Tech inverter (SKU 1072789) — RM2,049 → RM1,299 (36%)
- Haier HS-13VRB03 1.5HP inverter (SKU 1085192) — RM2,399 → RM1,599 (33%)
The shape is consistent across every HomePro campaign we have checked: the 60% ceiling belongs to fans and small goods, televisions and washers reach the high forties, and air conditioning tops out in the thirties — with installation quoted separately, at from RM239 per HomePro's own mailer footnote.
Same TV, two campaigns, RM200 apart
This is the trap worth knowing. HomePro's Merdeka Celebration mailer prices the Sharp 4TC55HJ6000X 55-inch at RM1,899. The Warehouse Sale grid prices the identical SKU (1082025) at RM1,699, and RM1,699 is what that product page charges today. The mailer was published on 27 July; the Warehouse Sale opened on 27 August.
The gap runs the other way on air conditioning: the mailer's Merdeka Super Shock page lists the Haier HS-10VQJ09 1.0HP at RM1,049, but SKU 1084858 sells at RM949 on the site today, 22% off a RM1,219 list. Check the SKU on homepro.com.my before trusting any printed price — including the ones in HomePro's own mailer.
The free-gift tiers, and why only one is worth chasing
Both the Merdeka Celebration and the Warehouse Sale carry the same Gift with Purchase ladder: clear a minimum spend, get an appliance free. It is member-exclusive and while stocks last. HomePro advertises each gift at its list price — but two of the three gifts are discounted on HomePro's own website right now, and that is the number that actually decides which tier is worth aiming at.
- Tier 1 — spend RM10,000, get a Panasonic NN-ST34NBMPQ 900W 25L microwave (SKU 1067320). Advertised worth RM555; HomePro's own price today is RM349, already 37% off. Real return: 3.5%.
- Tier 2 — spend RM15,000, get a Sharp 2TC32GH3000X 32-inch HD Google TV (SKU 1080467). Advertised worth RM1,219; HomePro's price today is RM1,219, undiscounted. Real return: 8.1%.
- Tier 3 — spend RM20,000, get a Midea MDRT267MTB30 200L 2-door fridge (SKU 1071871). Advertised worth RM1,299; HomePro's own price today is RM899, already 30% off. Real return: 4.5%.
The read: Tier 2 is the only tier where the gift's advertised worth is also its real price today. The Sharp 32-inch is the one gift HomePro is not separately discounting. Tier 3 asks RM5,000 more than Tier 2 and hands back RM320 less at today's shelf prices. If you are spending anywhere in this range, stopping at RM15,000 is the better tier — and if you were near RM10,000, note that the Tier-1 microwave is a RM349 item you could simply put in the basket.
The Merdeka Celebration list, re-checked
We previously published six prices from HomePro's Merdeka Super Shock page. Re-read against the campaign mailer and the live product pages on 1 September 2026, three of them were wrong, and are corrected here:
- S.D. Brilliant uPVC awning with steel frame, 60×100cm (SKU 1057368 brown / 1057369 grey) — RM259 → RM120 (53%). We previously published RM75 and 71%; that was wrong on both counts.
- King Koil single rebond mattress, 3 feet (SKU 1032317) — RM419 → RM219 (48%), and the mailer's own footnote says it excludes the bedframe. We previously published a RM459 list price.
- Sharp R207EK 800W 20-litre microwave (SKU 1057036) — RM379 → RM249 (34%). We previously published RM229.
One more: we listed a Haier H55S90EUX 55-inch at RM3,999 → RM2,099. Today that 55-inch shows at RM3,999 with no discount at all; it is the 65-inch H65S90EUX that is cut, to RM2,799. Buy the size that is actually on offer.
Three of the six stand as published and are confirmed:
- HLS charcoal gel memory-foam contour pillow (SKU 1070071) — RM209 → RM88 (58%)
- Sharp ES721X 7.5kg top-load washer (SKU 1064996) — RM1,099 → RM729 (34%)
- Stanley STGS9100 900W angle grinder (SKU 11060823) — RM149 → RM99 (34%)
And two mechanics in the Merdeka mailer we had not reported at all: instant rebates on two Sharp televisions — RM400 off the 65-inch 4TC65HL6500X (RM3,599) and RM300 off the 75-inch 4TC75HJ6000X (RM3,899) — applied on top of the marked price.
What stacks on top of the discount
None of these are part of the marked-down price. All are applied at checkout, and all carry their own minimum spend.
- 0% instalment up to 36 months on selected cards from CIMB, Public Bank, HSBC, RHB, Maybank and Standard Chartered.
- Up to RM100 off with Buy Now Pay Later — PayLater by Grab, ShopeePay/SPayLater and Atome. HomePro's banner states the minimum spend "varies by platform", so it is the provider's threshold, not HomePro's.
- Warehouse Sale upfront vouchers, advertised on the campaign banner as RM100 + RM20, marked "min. spend required" with the discount applied at checkout. HomePro does not publish the threshold on the banner, so treat RM120 as a ceiling to confirm in the cart rather than a certainty.
Where to shop: all seven HomePro stores
HomePro Malaysia — operated by Home Product Center (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (201101026613 / 954749-T) — runs exactly seven stores nationwide, re-confirmed on its official store finder on 1 September 2026. Five of the seven sit inside a Lotus's or a mall anchor, so plan the trip around the host centre's hours:
- HomePro Mutiara Damansara — Lot MA1, 8 Jalan PJU 7/4, Lotus Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, Selangor 47800 (03-7890 3498 / 03-7890 3499)
- HomePro Summit USJ — Lot G65B, Ground Floor, The Summit Subang USJ, Persiaran Kewajipan USJ 1, Subang Jaya, Selangor 47600 (03-5650 8800)
- HomePro IOI City Mall — Lot AT-2, Lower Ground Floor, IOI City Mall, Lebuh IRC, IOI Resort City, Putrajaya 62502 (1-800-28-2268)
- HomePro Ipoh — Lot G35, Ground Floor, Lotus Station 18, No.1 Medan Stesen 19/9, Station 18, Ipoh, Perak 31650 (05-238 0011)
- HomePro Penang — Lot S61, Second Floor, Lotus Penang, No.1 Lebuh Tengku Kudin 1, Bandar Jelutong, Gelugor, Penang 11700 (04-2020 030)
- HomePro Johor Paradigm — Lot BF-10, Basement Floor, Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru, Jalan Skudai, Johor Bahru, Johor 81200 (07-535 0010)
- HomePro Melaka — Lot L1, Ground Floor, Lotus Melaka, No.1 Jalan Tun Razak, Melaka 75400 (06-225 0021)
There is no HomePro outlet in Sabah, Sarawak or on the East Coast — the store finder lists only Central, Northern and Southern zones. Everything on the campaign pages is also sold at homepro.com.my, which is the practical route if you are outside those three zones. The Warehouse Sale is the one exception worth a drive: display-unit clearance means the unit is physically sitting in a store, and "last unit for grab" is not a promise a website can keep.
Who this suits, and who should skip it
Worth it if: you need a fan, air cooler or small appliance, because that is where the 60% ceiling is genuinely real; you are replacing one specific big appliance and can match the model number to the Warehouse Sale grid; or you are mid-renovation and need tiles, a hob, a shower heater or an awning, where the category sales run deeper than the appliance ones.
Skip it if: you want a specific model that is not on the Warehouse Sale grid — HomePro's range is narrower than a dedicated electronics chain's, and 30% off the wrong model is not a deal; you are chasing an air conditioner expecting the headline percentage, because aircon lands in the thirties and installation from RM239 eats much of the difference; or you are shopping after 6 September, when the deepest list closes and only the shallower Merdeka Celebration remains until 21 September.
Fine print worth knowing
- "Up to 60% off" is a ceiling, not an average. Of the 37 discounted SKUs we counted on the Warehouse Sale grid, exactly one reached 60% — a RM299 table fan.
- Display-unit clearance means one unit. "Limited stocks" and "last unit for grab" are the campaign's own words. Stock is per store, and the online listing flags what has already gone.
- The gift tiers are member-exclusive and while stocks last, and each gift's advertised "worth" is a list price, not what HomePro charges for that item today.
- Prices here were read from HomePro's own campaign pages and product pages on 1 September 2026 and move as stock does. Treat them as the shape of the sale, not a guarantee.
