> Quick view: the iPhone Duo is Apple's first folding iPhone, and in Malaysia it costs RM9,499 (256GB), RM10,499 (512GB), RM12,499 (1TB) or RM15,499 (2TB) in Star White or Night Sky. All four mobile networks opened pre-orders at 8pm on 16 October 2026, and the windows close on 22 or 23 October. The deals look very different: CelcomDigi pays you to switch, Maxis has the lowest monthly figure, U Mobile throws in a watch and Yes offers a small rebate with flexible financing. None of them is a discount on the phone itself, so the right pick depends on which plan you would pay for anyway.

We read each telco's official iPhone Duo page, plus CelcomDigi's pre-order FAQ, on the morning of 19 October 2026, and checked Apple Malaysia's online store for the retail prices. Where a page leaves something out (a plan fee, a contract length), we say so instead of guessing.

The four deals side by side

CelcomDigi (until 22 October, 11.59pm) - Easy360 financing from Postpaid 5G 100, or Pakej MegaJimat from Postpaid 5G 140. Some upfront payment may be asked at checkout. - Port-in rebate up to RM600: RM20 a month for 24 months (RM480) for pre-ordering, plus the standard RM20 a month for 6 months (RM120). - Trade-in bonus on top of the assessed value: RM50 (iPhone 11 to 14 Plus, iPhone Air), RM100 (13 Pro to 15 Plus), RM200 (15 Pro to 17), RM300 (16 Pro/Pro Max), RM400 (17 Pro/Pro Max). Trade in by 31 October. - Free iPad A16 Wi-Fi 128GB (RRP RM2,049) if you add or upgrade a supplementary line by 31 October on a 24-month contract. Supplementary lines are half price during the campaign: Supp 100 is RM50 a month, Supp 190 is RM95. - Gifts by plan: three 10% Apple vouchers for everyone; a free Apple Pencil USB-C (RRP RM349) on Postpaid 5G 140 or 160; AirPods 5 (RRP RM599) plus the Pencil on Postpaid 190 or the One plans. The Pencil and AirPods need an add-on: Protect+ by AppleCare or a JetSet Roam Pass.

Maxis (16 to 23 October) - Zerolution over 48 months on Maxis Postpaid 139: RM165 a month (256GB), RM184 (512GB), RM222 (1TB), RM279 (2TB), plus the RM139 plan. - Shorter terms for the 256GB model: RM225 a month over 36 months, RM345 over 24 months. - RM300 Apple accessory e-voucher, sent by WhatsApp or email within two working days of a verified pre-order. - Trade-in up to RM6,000 for any eligible phone, not just iPhones. - Six months of free Maxis Device Care (Maxis values it at RM474) and free Sooka Premium for a limited time.

U Mobile (opened 16 October, 8pm) - ULTRA Family: RM0 upfront, from RM227 a month, with a free Apple Watch Series 11 (RRP RM2,299), 12 months of Device Care and shareable roaming in more than 60 destinations. - ULTRA Postpaid: from RM239 a month, with 3 months of Device Care. eSIM only. - The page does not list the plan fee or contract length next to these figures, so ask before you pay.

Yes (until 23 October, 7.30am) - From RM166 a month. Yes does not say which plan or tenure that figure assumes. - Up to RM360 rebate: RM10 off every monthly bill for the contract on Infinite+ Postpaid, or a one-time rebate on the first bill on Infinite Cashback. - Free case worth RM319 while stocks last. The colour (Navy Blue or Sand) is random. - Pay through Ryt Credit over up to 24 months, interest-free if you settle within the first month.

What you really pay: worked examples

Maxis, 256GB, 48 months. RM165 plus RM139 is RM304 a month, or RM14,592 over four years. The phone part is RM7,920, which is RM1,579 below the RRP. That saving only makes sense if you would pay about RM139 a month for a postpaid line anyway; you are committed to it until late 2030.

Maxis, 256GB, 24 months. RM345 a month for the device is RM8,280 in total, still RM1,219 under the RRP, but with a shorter lock-in. Add the RM139 plan and the monthly bill is RM484.

CelcomDigi, porting in from another network with an iPhone 16 Pro. You get the full RM600 port-in rebate over two years, plus a RM300 trade-in bonus on top of the phone's assessed value. That is RM900 of value before counting the trade-in itself. Watch Protect+: at RM86 a month it would add RM2,064 over 24 months if you leave the box ticked without meaning to.

CelcomDigi, family adding a line. A Supp 100 line at RM50 a month for 24 months is RM1,200, and it brings an iPad worth RM2,049. Worth it if someone in the house needs a line anyway; a poor trade if the line will sit unused.

Apple Store, no contract. RM9,499 outright, or RM395.79 a month over 24 months at 0% on an eligible credit card. No plan lock-in and no telco gifts.

Who each deal suits

  • CelcomDigi suits people already planning to switch networks, and families who can use a second line. The rebates are paid monthly, so they reward staying put.
  • Maxis suits existing Maxis users who want the lowest monthly device payment and do not mind a four-year commitment.
  • U Mobile suits buyers who also want an Apple Watch: RM2,299 is the most valuable single gift here, if you would actually wear it.
  • Yes suits people who want a short 24-month financing route through Ryt Credit and are already on, or happy with, an Infinite plan.
  • Skip all four if you change phones every year or hate contracts. Buy outright from Apple from 23 October and keep your current prepaid or SIM-only plan.

Fine print that trips people up

  • Monthly figures exclude the plan. Maxis's "RM9.99 a day" is RM304 a month (device plus plan) divided by days, billed monthly. U Mobile and Yes "from" prices also sit on top of a plan fee.
  • CelcomDigi rebates disappear if you leave early. Terminate the Easy360 contract and the remaining port-in rebate is forfeited. Rebates start within 60 days of receiving the phone.
  • Pick up within 7 days. CelcomDigi releases unclaimed store-pickup units to the next person in line. Home delivery can take up to four weeks from 23 October.
  • Trade-in values are estimates. The app quote is confirmed only after grading and inspection, and CelcomDigi's bonus needs the trade-in done by 31 October.
  • Check your current contract first. Porting out of a plan still under contract can cost an early termination fee that eats the rebate.
  • Windows close at different times. CelcomDigi at 11.59pm on 22 October, Yes at 7.30am on 23 October. Do not leave Yes for the morning of the 23rd.
