> Quick view: Jogoya, the big Japanese-style buffet at The Starhill in Bukit Bintang, has brought back its Ladies' Buy 1 Free 1 promotion for 19 to 29 October 2026. On Mondays to Thursdays, two adult women pay one nett buffet price, so lunch for two is RM177.50 and dinner for two is RM189.10. You get two hours at the table, and the offer does not stack with anything else. With eight valid dates, it suits a weekday catch-up with a friend, sister or colleague.

We read Jogoya's promotion poster, posted on its official Facebook page on 17 October 2026, and checked the prices on Jogoya's own price page the next morning. The poster says the deal is "back by popular demand" but does not print a price, so the figures below are Jogoya's published Monday to Thursday rates.
How the deal works
- Pick a valid day. The promotion runs from Monday 19 to Thursday 29 October, Monday to Thursday only: 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28 and 29 October. There is no public holiday in that window (Deepavali falls on 8 November), so all eight dates count.
- Come as two adult women. The poster says the promotion is "only for ladies adult". One pays the normal adult buffet price, and the second eats free.
- Choose lunch or dinner. The poster does not restrict the session, so it applies to both. Lunch is 12pm to 4pm and dinner is 5.30pm to 10.30pm, daily.
- Watch the clock. Promotion tables are limited to two hours.
- Book ahead. Call 03-2141 1666 or WhatsApp 016-970 1268 and say you are coming for the Ladies' Promotion, so the table is booked at the right rate.
What you pay, with real numbers
Jogoya's published nett prices (6% tax and 10% service charge included) for Monday to Thursday are RM177.50 per adult at lunch and RM189.10 at dinner.
- Two friends at a Tuesday lunch: RM177.50 for both, instead of RM355. That is RM88.75 each, a saving of RM177.50.
- Two sisters at a Wednesday dinner: RM189.10 for both, instead of RM378.20, or RM94.55 each.
- Mother and daughter, with a 120cm granddaughter, Monday lunch: RM177.50 for the two women, plus RM88.75 for the child (101cm to 130cm). Children are priced by height, and the poster limits the promotion to adult women, so the child pays the normal kids' rate. Total RM266.25.
For comparison, one adult dinner on a Friday to Sunday costs RM212.30, so two women eating on a Thursday night pay less than one person pays at the weekend.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
It is a strong deal for two women who can take a long weekday lunch or meet after work. At under RM100 each, it costs about the same as a decent hotel lunch set, with a much bigger spread: Japanese, dim sum, teppanyaki, barbecue, steamboat, pastry and ice cream stations.
Skip it if your group includes men, or if you can only go at the weekend. Men pay the full rate, and Friday to Sunday dates are excluded. It is also less useful for slow eaters who like to linger, because of the two-hour limit.
Fine print that trips people up
- Groups of three or more. The offer is advertised as Buy 1 Free 1. The poster does not say whether a table of four women is treated as two pairs, so confirm when you book. Do not assume a third diner eats free.
- No stacking. It is "not valid with other promotions, discounts or privileges", so bank-card discounts and vouchers will not apply on top.
- The October lobster. Jogoya's October Feast puts unlimited red lobster on the buffet all month (see our October Feast guide). The ladies' poster does not say whether that changes for promotion diners, so ask when you book. The weekend abalone does not apply either way, because the ladies' deal is weekday only.
- Terms can change. Management reserves the right to amend them without notice, so check again a day before you go.
Getting there
Jogoya is at LG05 on the Lower Ground Floor of The Starhill, 181 Jalan Bukit Bintang, within walking distance of the Bukit Bintang MRT and monorail stations. The building has its own parking, but on a weekday evening the train is usually quicker. Full prices are on Jogoya's buffet price page.
