> Quick view (checked 17 September 2026): the Bandar Baru Tunjung opening deal this page first covered, Buy 1 Free 1 with app code B1F1BBT, ended on 15 August, and the outlet is still trading. The RM6.90 price on Kopi Kenangan Malaysia ended with Malaysia Day on 16 September, but the drink stayed: from 17 September it costs RM8.90 regular and RM10.90 large at all eight Kelantan outlets, until further notice. For a group, Belanja Day, buy 3 drinks and get 2 free, is now the cheaper order. The next Kenangan Day is Wednesday 14 October.

Is the Bandar Baru Tunjung Buy 1 Free 1 still on?

No. It ran for three days, 13–15 August 2026, through the Kenangan Coffee app with the code B1F1BBT. It covered six drinks: Kenangan Latte, Creamy Latte, Salted Caramel Macchiato, Americano, Mocha Chip Frappe and D Spanish Latte. The free cup was always the cheapest eligible drink in the order, and the code did not combine with any other promotion or membership privilege.

That is Kenangan's standard opening template, not a Kelantan special. Kenangan's own Facebook post for its Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh opening (10–12 October 2025, code B1F1SB) lists the same six drinks and the same terms word for word. The template has run twice since Tunjung, at Taman Damansara Aliff in Johor Bahru (1–3 September, B1F1TDA) and Bandar Utama Batang Kali in Selangor (4–6 September, B1F1BUB). Each code works only at its own new store, so Kelantan has no opening offer to redeem until the state's next outlet opens.

What changed on 17 September

Kopi Kenangan Malaysia launched at RM6.90 on 29 August, and that price ended as scheduled on 16 September. The same evening, Kenangan Coffee Malaysia posted that it was "keeping your favourite around a little longer". The new terms:

  • RM8.90 for a regular hot or cold cup, and RM10.90 for a large. The poster strikes out RM12.90 as the regular price.
  • Valid from 17 September 2026 until further notice, while stocks last. Kenangan's own caption says the drink is here to stay "for now", so there is no end date to plan around.
  • All Kenangan Coffee Malaysia stores except KKIA and KLIA2, which covers every Kelantan outlet. The price includes 6% SST, and toppings or add-ons cost extra.

So a regular cup costs RM2 more than it did last week. It is still RM4 (31%) below the RM12.90 printed on the poster. As with the launch price, the terms don't mention the app, so you can order it at the counter.

What's on at Kenangan Coffee in Kelantan now

All of these come from Kenangan Coffee Malaysia's own Instagram posts, read on 17 September 2026. Every Kelantan outlet qualifies, because the terms exclude only the two airport stores, KLIA2 and KKIA.

  • Kopi Kenangan Malaysia, RM8.90 regular or RM10.90 large. Kenangan's Malaysia-only flavour, made with its Kenangan Black Aren palm-sugar blend. Hot or cold, until further notice.
  • Belanja Day: buy 3, get 2 free. Posted on 29 August under the line "Any Day Can Be Belanja Day", with no end date. The three paid drinks come from Latte, Cappuccino, Kenangan Latte, Creamy Latte, D Spanish Latte, Salted Caramel Macchiato, Chocolate, Pistachio Macchiato, Signature Double Choc Frappe and Matcha Latte. The two free drinks come from Americano, Latte, Cappuccino, Kenangan Latte, Creamy Latte, D Spanish Latte, Espresso and the three Ice Shaken teas (Strawberry, Yuzu, Passionfruit). It does not combine with any other offer or privilege card.
  • Moncha plushie, from RM9.90. Kenangan's green matcha mascot as a plush toy: RM9.90 with two handcrafted drinks (at least one a matcha drink), RM15.90 with one matcha drink, or RM19.90 on its own. It started on 31 August while stocks last, and Kenangan's 15 September reel was still telling fans to collect one before they sell out, so stock will vary by store.
  • Coffee + Pastry Duo, from RM6.80. Announced on 11 September with no further terms. Ask at the counter which pairing sits at that price.
  • App perks. A new app account starts a free 30-day Gold trial, which Kenangan was still promoting on 15 September.
  • Next Kenangan Day: Wednesday 14 October. Kenangan runs one on the 14th of every month, and October's deal isn't announced yet.

Just ended, all in September:

  • Kenangan Day, 14 September: regular hot or iced Americano, Latte, Cappuccino, D Spanish Latte, Creamy Latte, Hazelnut Latte, Caramel Latte and Vanilla Latte at RM6.90, walk-in or app. Upsizes and milk or bean changes were charged at the normal price.
  • Kopi Kenangan Malaysia at RM6.90: 29 August to 16 September.
  • 9.9 Double Date: RM5.50 for a regular Americano, Latte, Cappuccino or Ice Shaken tea, app-only, on 9 September alone.

Which deal fits your order

Kenangan publishes no counter price list, and the menu boards on its website show photos only. The figures below come from Kenangan's own foodpanda menu (Jalan Sentul Perdana, Kuala Lumpur, read 11 September 2026). That is a delivery listing and may sit above the till price, so treat the ringgit as a ceiling:

  • Kenangan Latte, Creamy Latte and D Spanish Latte RM11.90; Latte and Cappuccino RM10.90; Salted Caramel Macchiato, Mocha, Chocolate and Matcha Latte RM12.90; Pistachio Macchiato RM14.90; Americano RM7.90; Espresso RM5.90; Ice Shaken teas RM10.90.

Buying one coffee for yourself: at RM8.90, Kopi Kenangan Malaysia costs less than every latte, macchiato and Ice Shaken tea on that list, but more than an Americano (RM7.90) or an Espresso (RM5.90). A large at RM10.90 still costs less than a regular Kenangan Latte at these prices. If you can wait for a Kenangan Day, September's RM6.90 edition beat it on every coffee it covered.

Buying for five: under Belanja Day the two free cups are always the two cheapest in the order, so your saving equals the price of those two cups, whichever two you meant to be free. The dearest drinks on the free list are the RM11.90 lattes, which caps the saving at RM23.80 an order:

  • Five Kenangan Lattes: pay RM35.70 for RM59.50 of drinks, 40% off.
  • Pistachio Macchiato, Salted Caramel Macchiato and Matcha Latte, plus two D Spanish Lattes free: pay RM40.70 for RM64.50 of drinks. The saving is the same RM23.80, or 37%.
  • Three Kenangan Lattes and two Americanos: pay RM35.70 for RM51.50 of drinks. That saves only RM15.80 (31%), because the free cups are the cheap ones.

This is where 17 September flipped the advice. At RM6.90, five Kopi Kenangan Malaysia cost RM34.50, less than any Belanja order above. At RM8.90 they cost RM44.50: RM8.80 more than five Kenangan Lattes under Belanja Day, and RM3.80 more than the Pistachio order. For a group of five, Belanja Day is now the cheaper way in, unless everyone specifically wants Kopi Kenangan Malaysia, which is on neither Belanja list.

Buying for the plushie: a Matcha Latte (RM12.90) plus the Moncha at RM15.90 comes to RM28.80. Add an Americano (RM7.90) and the plushie drops to RM9.90, so the bill is RM30.70. The second drink effectively costs RM1.90, which makes the two-drink route the obvious one if anyone else wants a coffee.

All eight Kenangan Coffee outlets in Kelantan

Kenangan's own outlet page lists seven Kelantan stores, up from five in mid-August; AEON Mall Kota Bharu and Pasir Puteh Sentral are the additions. Re-read on 17 September, Bandar Baru Tunjung is still missing from it five weeks after opening, but Google Maps shows it trading that day. So Kelantan has eight outlets, and the brand's page alone undercounts by one. The table below gives addresses, hours and Google ratings as read on 11 September.

Two practical notes:

  • AEON Mall Kota Bharu keeps mall hours: 10am–10pm Saturday to Wednesday and until 10.30pm on Thursday, Friday and the eve of a public holiday. AEON's own store directory also shows it closed 12.30pm–2.30pm on Fridays for Friday prayers, so on a Friday lunchtime, head to a street-front outlet instead.
  • On Google Maps, the six street-front outlets open at 8am on Saturday and KB Mall at 10am; all show a 10pm close on Friday. Maps lists the same phone number, 019-280 9621, for every Kelantan outlet.

Bandar Baru Tunjung, five weeks in

The Tunjung store is at No. 181, Pusat Perniagaan Bandar Baru Tunjung, Jalan Kuala Krai, and opens 8am to 10pm. On 17 September it still held a 3.4-star Google rating from five reviews. The three newest reviews, posted one to three weeks ago, all describe the same problem: waits of 20–30 minutes, even for app orders, with one staff member on shift at a time. If you're short of time, Taman Kenangan on Jalan Hospital is Kelantan's highest-rated outlet (4.7 stars from 24 reviews), followed by Pengkalan Chepa (4.6 stars from 13).

Fine print

  • Nothing stacks. Belanja Day and the Moncha plushie offer both exclude every other promotion, voucher and privilege card. Kopi Kenangan Malaysia is on neither Belanja list, so it can't be one of your five cups, and a promo-priced cup shouldn't be counted towards the plushie either.
  • Add-ons cost extra on every deal: extra shots, syrups and drizzles.
  • "Until further notice" has no notice period. The RM8.90 price and Belanja Day both lack an end date, and Kenangan can withdraw either with a single post. The RM8.90 cup is also "while stocks last", so an outlet can run out.
  • Counter or app: neither the RM8.90 terms nor the Belanja Day terms mention the app, and September's Kenangan Day said "walk-in & Kenangan Coffee app" in writing. The opening codes and the 9.9 deal both stated that they were app-only, so an app-only Kenangan offer says so in its terms.
  • Opening codes don't travel. Each Buy 1 Free 1 code works only at its own new store, and only within its three-day window.
