> Quick view: KFC's Bucket Berbaloi is back for October 2026. The 6-pc comes with Cheezy Wedges (L), Whipped Potato (14oz) and two medium drinks from RM42.99 on self-collect. The 10-pc comes with a 1.5L drink from RM67.99. If you are ordering anyway, the KFC x Mofusand plush charm is RM49.90 as an add-on to any purchase, RM5 less than buying it on its own.

What is in the bucket
KFC's banner calls it "Momen Ori, Bersama-sama", and the set is listed under Limited Time Only on kfc.com.my. The product listing on KFC's own ordering site shows exactly what each version includes:
- 6-pc Bucket Berbaloi: 6 pieces of chicken (Original Recipe or Hot & Spicy, one choice for the whole bucket), Cheezy Wedges (L), Whipped Potato (14oz) and two medium drinks. Coca-Cola, Coke Zero, Sprite and Fanta Strawberry are included. Iced Milo is +RM2.50 and Sjora Mango Peach +RM2 on self-collect, and slightly more on delivery.
- 10-pc Bucket Berbaloi: 10 pieces of chicken, the same Cheezy Wedges (L) and Whipped Potato (14oz), and one 1.5L bottle of Coca-Cola, Coke Zero, Sprite or Fanta Strawberry.
How much you actually pay
KFC prices the same bucket differently depending on the outlet and channel you pick in the app or on kfc.com.my. We checked every price level the site uses on 5 October 2026:
- Self-collect, 6-pc: RM42.99 at the cheapest outlets, RM45.99 at most others, RM48.99 at some, and RM55.99 at the most expensive group.
- Self-collect, 10-pc: RM67.99, RM71.99, RM77.49 or RM88.49.
- Delivery, 6-pc: RM46.49 to RM50.49. Delivery, 10-pc: RM71.99 to RM75.99. Delivery and processing fees come on top.
KFC does not say which outlets sit in which price group, so the honest advice is to choose your outlet in the app and read the price before you pay. The "from RM42.99" headline only applies at the cheapest self-collect outlets.
Is it a good deal? Worked examples
Against buying the same food separately (self-collect, cheapest outlets): two 3-pc Chicken at RM19.99 each (RM39.98), Cheezy Wedges (L) RM7.99, Whipped Potato (14oz) RM8.99 and two medium Coca-Cola at RM4.49 each (RM8.98) add up to RM65.94. The bucket is RM42.99, so you save RM22.95, about 35%.
The same comparison on delivery: separately, RM48.98 + RM9.49 + RM9.49 + RM10.98 = RM78.94, against RM47.49 for the bucket. That is RM31.45 less.
Against KFC's regular combos (the fairer test): the everyday 5-pc Combo is RM39.99 at the same self-collect outlets. It has 5 pieces, Whipped Potato (14oz), Coleslaw (14oz) and two medium drinks. For RM3 more, the Bucket Berbaloi gives you a sixth piece and swaps the coleslaw for Cheezy Wedges (L). The 9-pc Combo (RM65.99, with coleslaw and a 1.5L drink) is only RM2 cheaper than the 10-pc Bucket Berbaloi. If you prefer coleslaw to wedges, the regular combos still make sense. If not, the Berbaloi is the better buy.
A family of four that wants a plush: a 6-pc bucket (RM42.99) plus one Mofusand charm as an add-on (RM49.90) comes to RM92.89 on self-collect. Buying the charm alone would cost RM54.90.
The KFC x Mofusand plush, in detail
KFC's terms page for the campaign (kfc.com.my/mofusand) sets out three items:
- Keychain Plush Charm, three designs (egg tart, bucket and drumstick costumes). RM49.90 as a purchase-with-purchase with any KFC product, or RM54.90 on its own. On KFC Delivery the app charges RM52.90 and RM57.90.
- 8-inch Plush in a KFC bucket costume. RM79.90 with a purchase, RM84.90 on its own (RM82.90 and RM87.90 on delivery). Only at selected outlets, listed below.
- Sticker sheet and notebook, free with a Chicky Meal combo, one per receipt while stocks last. A Chicky Meal Combo is RM10.99 on self-collect at the cheapest outlets and RM14.49 on delivery.
There is no limit on how many add-on plushies you buy in one transaction. One KFC item on the receipt unlocks the RM49.90 price for all of them. A full set of three charms is RM149.70, or RM229.60 with the 8-inch plush, plus whatever you order. The plush is also sold through GrabFood, foodpanda and ShopeeFood, though KFC says prices can differ by channel.
Where the 8-inch plush is sold
KFC lists 125 outlets: Selangor 31, Kuala Lumpur 25, Johor 14, Penang 13, Sabah 13, Sarawak 12, Melaka 5, Perak 5, and two each in Kedah, Negeri Sembilan and Pahang, plus Stadium Kota Bharu DT in Kelantan. In the Klang Valley that includes Mid Valley, Pavilion 2, Berjaya Times Square, MyTown, TRX, KL Sentral, Sunway Pyramid, Sunway Velocity, One Utama, Paradigm Mall PJ and KLIA2 Arrival. Further afield it includes Gurney Plaza, Queensbay Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, JB Central, Suria Sabah, Vivacity, Mahkota Parade and Genting Highlands (Grand). No outlet in Terengganu, Perlis, Putrajaya or Labuan is on the list, so plan a trip if you are set on the big one.
Who it is for, and who should skip it
- Good for: families or groups of three to four who like cheesy wedges, and anyone already buying KFC who wants a Mofusand charm at the lower price.
- Skip it if: you are eating alone or as two (a box meal is cheaper), you want a mix of Original and Hot & Spicy in one bucket, or your nearest outlet is in the RM55.99 price group. Check the app first.
Fine print that trips people up
- One flavour per bucket. The option is a single choice for all the pieces.
- Prices vary by outlet and channel, and include 6% service tax. Delivery adds fees.
- No end date is published for the Bucket Berbaloi. KFC lists it as limited time only, so it can disappear without warning. We will check it again at the end of October.
- Plush designs are given out by store stock. The terms say a charm design cannot be exchanged, and returns are not accepted.
- The free sticker sheet and notebook come with Chicky Meal combos only, one per receipt.
