> Update, 3 November 2026: both offers have passed their published 31 October booking deadline and no extension has been published, yet the booking engine still sold both on 3 November. For 13 to 15 November the 30% rate was RM868 a night against RM1,240 on the free-tickets rate (Adventure Premium), and the 30% did not load for 4 to 6 or 18 to 20 December. LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort sits in Bandar Medini, Iskandar Puteri, about 20 minutes from the Tuas checkpoint and 45 minutes from Johor Bahru city centre. We first covered this offer on 18 September and priced both rates on 3 October. On 29 October we re-read LEGOLAND's hotel offers page, re-ran November and December dates in the booking engine, and re-checked ticket prices. Here is what we found.
The deadline: both offers passed 31 October
On 29 October the offers page reads, for the free-tickets offer: "Bookings from now till 31 October 2026. Stay between 1 July – 31 December 2026". The old 30 September date is gone, so the extension is now official rather than a rate that happened to keep loading.
The 30% offer box says "Booking & Stay Period: From now till 31 October 2026 ONLY". Yet in the booking engine on 29 October, "Enjoy 30% Savings" still loaded for a 12 to 14 November stay. Its own terms also still carry a stale line saying the discount runs "until 31 Aug 2026". If you book the 30% rate for a November stay, screenshot the rate description and keep your confirmation, because the banner wording suggests the stay itself was meant to end by 31 October. The hotel's line is +607 597 8888.
The seven-day rule decides your earliest date. Both offers need a minimum of seven days' advance booking, so a booking made on 3 November can start no earlier than 10 November.
What each rate cost on 29 October
Per-night averages in the booking engine for two adults and two children, two nights, before the payment step:
- 12 to 14 November (Thu to Sat), Kingdom Themed: 30% off RM714, Regular Rate RM1,020, free-tickets rate RM1,020. Two nights: RM1,428 against RM2,040, a difference of RM612.
- 17 to 19 December (Thu to Sat): no Standard Themed rooms were listed. Adventure Premium and Pirate Premium showed a Regular Rate of RM1,345 a night. On Adventure Premium the free-tickets rate also loaded, at RM1,345. The 30% rate did not appear.
For comparison, on 3 October the 22 to 24 October stay was RM714 against RM1,020 (Pirate Themed), and 26 to 28 November was RM763 against RM1,090 (Kingdom Themed). Back then no promotion at all loaded for 17 to 19 December, where an Adventure Themed room was RM1,090 on the Regular Rate.
The pattern holds. The free-tickets rate is priced the same as the Regular Rate, and the 30% rate is exactly 70% of it. So in November you pay for the "free" tickets by giving up the 30%. In December, where the 30% is not offered, the free tickets cost you nothing extra.
The break-even, with real ticket prices
LEGOLAND values the two Child 2-Day Triple Park tickets at RM764. What matters is what you would otherwise pay. On 29 October its Book Now & Save 20% page still sold a 1-Day Triple Park ticket at RM228 per child and RM276 per adult, booked online at least five days ahead. Walk-up prices are RM285 per child and RM345 per adult.
Worked out for 12 to 14 November, two adults and two children, Triple Park:
- Two park days. Free-tickets rate: RM2,040 room plus adult tickets (2 adults × 2 days × RM276 = RM1,104) comes to RM3,144. 30% rate: RM1,428 room plus RM1,104 for the adults plus RM912 for the children (2 × 2 × RM228) comes to RM3,444. The free tickets win by RM300.
- One park day. Free-tickets rate: RM2,040 plus RM552 for the adults is RM2,592. 30% rate: RM1,428 plus RM552 plus RM456 for the children is RM2,436. The 30% wins by RM156.
The adult figures are two 1-Day tickets per adult, because the site does not publish an adult 2-Day Triple Park price.
Malaysians: TNG eWallet narrows the gap. Until 15 November 2026, paying with TNG eWallet at the counter takes 40% off day tickets for Malaysian citizens and long-term pass holders, which makes a Triple Park ticket RM207 per adult and RM171 per child. Our TNG guide has the fine print. For the same 12 to 14 November stay:
- Two park days: RM2,040 plus RM828 for the adults is RM2,868 on the free-tickets rate, against RM1,428 plus RM828 plus RM684 for the children, RM2,940, on the 30% rate. The free tickets win by only RM72.
- One park day: RM2,454 on the free-tickets rate against RM2,184 on the 30% rate. The 30% wins by RM270.
So for a Malaysian family arriving by 15 November, the 30% rate plus TNG tickets is the safer pick unless both children will definitely use both days.
December is simpler. For 17 to 19 December on an Adventure Premium room, the free-tickets rate and the Regular Rate are both RM2,690 for two nights. Booking the free-tickets rate saves you the children's tickets: RM912 for two park days or RM456 for one, at today's online price. That is the clearest win in this article, for as long as the rate keeps loading.
Brick-or-Treat has ended
Brick-or-Treat ended on 1 November 2026, and the free entry for children in costume ended with it. Our Brick-or-Treat page has what tickets cost now.
Rules that still bind both rates
- Standard Themed and Premium Themed rooms only; Friends and Ninjago rooms are excluded from both offers.
- Minimum seven days' advance booking, with changes allowed up to seven days before arrival, subject to availability.
- The free tickets go only to children aged 3 to 11 who check in, two per booking at most. They are issued at check-in and must be used on consecutive days within your stay.
- The Theme Park closes on Wednesdays and the Water Park on Tuesdays, except during public holidays and key school holidays. A Tuesday check-in wastes a 2-Day Triple Park ticket, so check in Thursday to Saturday instead.
- The free-tickets offer cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts or packages. The 30% terms carry no such line, but other terms apply.
Who should pick which
Take the free-tickets rate for any December stay where the 30% does not load, or for a November stay if your children are 3 to 11 and will spend two full days in the parks.
Take the 30% for a November stay if your children will only do one park day, if they are under 3 (they enter free anyway) or 12 and over (LEGOLAND charges them as adults), or if you are Malaysian and can buy TNG tickets at the counter by 15 November.
If the rates vanish: LEGOLAND has not announced a replacement offer, so compare the Regular Rate against a nearby partner hotel plus online 20% tickets.
