> Quick view: Nando's Malaysia has more running in October than it did at the end of September. Two outlets that were closed, AEON Mall Kota Bharu and AEON Rawang, reopen with a free 1/4 Chicken for the first 100 diners who buy a Bottomless Soft Drink, on 15 and 16 October. The app now gives 10% off pickup orders with the code PICKUP10. The CIMB card discount still runs to 31 October, and Pavilion KL has free bottomless froyo to the same date. Nando's also rewrote its Chillies rules on 24 September. Everything below was re-read on Friday 9 October 2026 from Nando's own website, CIMB Deals, RHB's terms PDF and Nando's Instagram.

What changed since 17 September

  • Two reopening giveaways were posted on 8 October. Nando's put the terms for AEON Mall Kota Bharu and AEON Rawang on its Terms and Conditions page. Both outlets were still marked Temporarily Closed on the locator on 9 October.
  • A pickup discount appeared on 5 October. It is for Nando's app members only, and the app carousel artwork says "Take 10% off your pickup order, Code: PICKUP10".
  • The Chillies rules were rewritten on 24 September. You now have to place the order and pay through the Nando's app to earn a Chilli. Nando's also added a Refer & Earn programme.
  • Pavilion KL got a free froyo offer on 17 September. It runs from 18 September to 31 October.
  • CIMB is unchanged and RHB has not come back. CIMB Deals still listed the 10% offer on 9 October. RHB's terms PDF still shows 15 March to 15 September 2026.
  • The Greatest Chicken Meal is gone from the website menu. The RM39.90 set this article priced in September no longer appears on nandos.com.my/menu. The PERi-gula Melaka wings (RM16.90 for 4) and Fully Loaded Chicken Chips (RM21.50) are still listed.

Free 1/4 Chicken: AEON Kota Bharu on 15 October, AEON Rawang on 16 October

The two giveaways have the same terms, each for one outlet on one day:

  • Nando's AEON Mall Kota Bharu, Lot G38, Ground Floor, AEON Mall Kota Bharu, Lembah Sireh: Thursday 15 October 2026, from 10am. This is Kelantan's only Nando's.
  • Nando's AEON Rawang, Lot G-60, Ground Floor, AEON Anggun Rawang Shopping Centre, Taman Anggun: Friday 16 October 2026, from 10am.

How it works:

  1. Go on the day and order at the cashier. Redemption is over the counter only, not through the app or delivery.
  2. Buy at least one Bottomless Soft Drink (RM7.90 on Nando's menu) in the same transaction.
  3. You get one free 1/4 Chicken. Each outlet has 100 to give away, first come, first served, and it is dine-in only.

The fine print: the free chicken can't be swapped for cash or another item, and the deal cannot be combined with any other promotion, discount or voucher. That rules out the CIMB 10% on the same bill.

What it saves: you pay RM7.90 and get a 1/4 Chicken listed at RM21.90 on its own, so RM29.80 of food at menu prices. If you want sides, add them at the normal price. Two other things follow from the terms. A RM7.90 bill earns no Chilli, because the minimum is RM30. And if you arrive late, you may miss out: at the Pavilion ELITE reopening in September only the first 50 were free.

PICKUP10: 10% off app pickup orders

Nando's posted the terms on 5 October:

  • 10% off the total bill on pickup and takeaway orders, with no minimum spend.
  • App members only, ordered in the Nando's app. It is not valid for dine-in, delivery or orders made any other way. Select "Pickup" on the app home page and apply the voucher before checkout.
  • Valid at all Nando's Malaysia outlets, including Nando's Miri and Nando's KLIA2.
  • Your first voucher appears automatically under My rewards. On later days, type PICKUP10 under My rewards to get a new one. You can use one voucher a day, and each voucher shows its own expiry date.
  • It can't be combined with other promotions, discounts or vouchers.

Nando's has published no end date for PICKUP10. Worked example: two 1/4 Chickens with two sides each (RM28.90 each) is RM57.80, or RM52.02 with PICKUP10. That is a saving of RM5.78, and you still pay more than RM30 in the app, the amount Chillies count.

CIMB cards: 10% off dine-in until 31 October

CIMB Deals still listed "10% OFF total bill" at Nando's on 9 October 2026. The terms:

  • 10% off the total dine-in bill when you pay with a CIMB credit or debit card, 1 May to 31 October 2026, at all Nando's outlets.
  • Pay over the counter. No split bills.
  • Not valid with other offers, promotions, discounts, vouchers, loyalty programmes or privilege cards.
  • It covers CIMB cards issued in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Cambodia. CIMB removed Thailand-issued cards.

Worked examples at menu prices read on 9 October:

  • A 1/4 Chicken with two sides (RM28.90) and a Bottomless Soft Drink (RM7.90): RM36.80, or RM33.12 with CIMB.
  • Two 1/2 Chickens with two sides (RM44.90 each) and two Bottomless Soft Drinks: RM105.60, or RM95.04 with CIMB.
  • A Family Platter: the menu lists three price tiers, RM131.90, RM135.90 and RM143.90, depending on the outlet. At RM131.90 it comes to RM118.71 with CIMB. At RM143.90 it comes to RM129.51.

The offer ends on Saturday 31 October. CIMB has not posted a renewal yet. In the past, CIMB has run this deal in six-month cycles under a new deal page each time.

Pavilion KL: free bottomless froyo to 31 October

At Nando's Pavilion Kuala Lumpur only, from 18 September to 31 October 2026, you get one free Bottomless Frozen Yogurt with any purchase on a single receipt. It is dine-in only, first come first served, and while stocks last. The froyo is RM8.90 on the menu. To redeem it, you have to show Nando's email at the cashier, so check your inbox for it if you are a Nando's member. It can't be combined with other offers.

The new Chillies rules (24 September)

Nando's rewrote its loyalty terms on 24 September 2026. The parts that change what you should do:

  • One Chilli for at least RM30 in one transaction, counted on the final amount you pay including tax. You still earn at most one Chilli a day.
  • You must log in, order and pay through the Nando's app. Nando's says it may not credit the Chilli if you skip these steps. Dine-in and takeaway count, including PERi-PERi sauce purchases. GrabFood, foodpanda, catering and gift vouchers don't count.
  • Three Chillies give one Free Meal, valid for three months. You choose from: 1/4 Chicken with 1 Side, Happy Trio Chicken Bowl, Crispy Cheese Burger, Crispy Cheese Wrap, PERi-chicken Rice Bowl, Veggie Burger or Veggie Wrap. You can redeem up to 10 Free Meals a day, and Chillies do not expire.
  • Refer & Earn: a new member who signs up with your referral code gets a 10% off voucher for their first app order. The voucher is valid for two months and has no minimum spend. You get one Chilli when they complete that order, up to nine referral Chillies a year.

Where this meets the CIMB deal: CIMB requires payment over the counter, and Nando's now requires payment in the app to earn a Chilli. On our reading, a CIMB-discounted bill paid at the cashier won't earn a Chilli. Ask the cashier if that matters to you. PICKUP10 orders are placed and paid in the app, so they fit the new rule better.

RHB: still no renewal

RHB's Nando's terms PDF still reads 15 March to 15 September 2026: 10% off with any RHB card, or 20% off with an RHB MySiswa or MyTVETKPM Debit Card-i. We found no new RHB terms PDF or announcement on 9 October. The previous gap between RHB cycles was about a month, from 15 February to 15 March 2026, so a mid-October restart would fit that pattern. That is an inference from one gap, not an announcement.

Which deal to use

  • You live near Kota Bharu or Rawang: go early on 15 or 16 October and pay RM7.90 for a drink and a free 1/4 Chicken. Don't bring a CIMB card for that bill, because the deals don't stack.
  • You're taking food home: order in the app with PICKUP10 for 10% off. If you spend RM30 or more, you also earn a Chilli.
  • You're dining in with a group and have a CIMB card: put the whole table on one CIMB card before 31 October. You can't split the bill.
  • You're at Pavilion KL: bring Nando's email for the free froyo.
  • You only order delivery: none of these offers apply on GrabFood or foodpanda, and delivery orders don't earn Chillies.

Where Nando's is: 81 outlets

The locator listed 81 restaurants on 9 October 2026, unchanged from September. Selangor has 27 and Kuala Lumpur 23. Johor, Penang and Sarawak have five each. Melaka, Perak and Putrajaya have three each, Negeri Sembilan and Sabah two each, and Kedah, Pahang and Kelantan one each. There is no Nando's in Terengganu, Perlis or Labuan. The two outlets marked Temporarily Closed, AEON Mall Kota Bharu and AEON Rawang, are the two reopening on 15 and 16 October.

Every price and term above was read on 9 October 2026 from Nando's menu, restaurant locator, Extra Hot News and Terms and Conditions pages, CIMB Deals, RHB's Nando's terms PDF and Nando's Instagram (@nandosmy). Nando's Instagram posts from 25 September to 7 October carried no other diner offer. One was a Mobile Legends diamond giveaway that ended on 1 October.
