> Quick view: Texas Chicken Malaysia's September campaigns have all ended. Back to School (RM12.90 Star Boxes) finished on 11 September, Zesty Teriyaki Tenders on 23 September and Ayam Aneka Rasa on 5 October. What is left in October 2026 is the part that never expires: Awesome Mondays (5pc chicken, RM19.99), Classic Tuesdays (2 Classic Burgers, RM10.50) and Wrap Wednesdays (2 Tex Wraps, RM13.99). There is one new priced offer on top: the Extra Crunch Deal, Jalapeño Bombers for RM7.90 added to any combo. The Snack Platter is still RM19.90, and Glazed Herb & Garlic Chicken returned on 5 October.
What Texas Chicken Malaysia is running in October 2026
We read every live channel on 8 October 2026: the Promotions carousel on malaysia.texaschicken.com, the banners on the brand's ordering portal, and the official Instagram feed. Here is what is on the board:
- Awesome Mondays: 5pc fried chicken for RM19.99. The printed normal price is RM31.99, so you save RM12.00. Choice of chicken parts depends on availability
- Classic Tuesdays: 2 Classic Burgers for RM10.50. This is the cheapest way into the brand all week
- Wrap Wednesdays: 2 Tex Wraps for RM13.99, Original or Spicier Spicy. The printed normal price is RM27.60, so you save RM13.61
- Extra Crunch Deal: Jalapeño Bombers for RM7.90 when you buy any combo. This is new: Texas Chicken announced it on Instagram on 30 September 2026
- Snack Platter: RM19.90 for 6pc Nuggets, 6pc Jalapeño Bombers, 3pc Onion Rings and regular fries. The poster still calls it an "introductory price" and says prices vary by restaurant
- Glazed Herb & Garlic Chicken is back. The brand posted "it's back again" on 5 October. The banner says for a limited time only, while stocks last, and prints no price
None of these needs a code, coupon, app or membership. You ask for the deal by name at the counter or the drive-thru speaker.
The new one: RM7.90 Jalapeño Bombers with any combo
The Extra Crunch Deal is the only new priced offer this month. The terms printed on the banner say:
- RM7.90, with the purchase of any combo. The price includes 6% SST
- Valid for a limited time only. No end date is printed
- Not offered at the Imago Sabah store. Texas Chicken has rarely named a branch exclusion. The only other one was Back to School, which excluded Genting, KLIA2 and R&R Skudai
- Not available during breakfast hours (4am–11am) at Texas Chicken Breakfast Restaurants
Read the "with any combo" condition carefully. All three weekday deals say they cannot be combined with any other promotion, and none of them is a combo anyway: 5pc chicken, 2 burgers and 2 wraps are à la carte bundles. So on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday you cannot get the RM7.90 bombers by ordering the weekday deal. You get them by ordering a regular combo, such as a Star Box. The Star Box range now includes a Mexicana Wrap and a Mexicana Burger next to the Zesty Crunch Wrap, Tex Sampler, Zesty Crunch Burger and Porridge boxes. Every Star Box comes with a large drink.
If you want bombers to share, compare the Snack Platter. It includes 6 Jalapeño Bombers plus nuggets, onion rings and fries for RM19.90, and you do not have to buy a combo. Neither poster says how many bombers the RM7.90 add-on contains. Ask before you assume it is the same 6.
Which deal to use on which day
Each weekday deal is priced for two or more people, and none of them includes a drink. That decides most visits:
- Monday, feeding three or four: Awesome Mondays. RM19.99 for 5 pieces works out to RM4.00 a piece, against RM6.40 a piece at the printed normal price. It is the biggest absolute saving of the week
- Tuesday, two people: Classic Tuesdays. RM10.50 for two burgers is RM5.25 a head, the lowest per-person price Texas Chicken prints all week. Add drinks at the counter if you need them
- Wednesday, two people: Wrap Wednesdays. RM13.99 is RM7.00 a wrap, about half the normal price
- Eating alone on any day: a regular combo is the better fit, because the weekday deals give you two portions. That combo also unlocks the RM7.90 bombers
- Thursday to Sunday: there is no weekday deal. The only priced offers are the RM7.90 add-on and the RM19.90 Snack Platter
Public holidays: the dates that switch the deals off
All three weekday posters exclude public holidays and replacement public holidays. In practice that means:
- No national public holiday falls on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday for the rest of October 2026, so the weekday deals should run every week this month. State holidays count too, so check your own state's calendar
- Deepavali is Sunday 8 November 2026. Because it falls on a Sunday, Monday 9 November is the replacement holiday in most states, so Awesome Mondays will not run that day. Johor, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu follow their own weekend rules, and Deepavali is not a public holiday in Sarawak. If you live there, your Monday may not be affected
- Classic Tuesday on 10 November and Wrap Wednesday on 11 November are not affected by Deepavali
Nothing on the poster or the website will remind you on the day, so it is worth knowing in advance.
Which branches have the breakfast blackout
Every weekday deal, the Extra Crunch Deal and the new seasonal items carry the same line: not available 4am–11am at Texas Chicken Breakfast Restaurants. On 8 October 2026 Texas Chicken Malaysia's own store locator listed 111 outlets, and 41 of them carry a Breakfast tag. In early September it showed 106 outlets with 43 tagged. The new outlets include Caltex Pajam, Negeri Sembilan, which opened on 24 September as a 24-hour drive-thru.
The breakfast branches are mostly petrol-station drive-thrus and 24-hour sites, such as Caltex Putrajaya, Shell Sungai Besi, KLIA2 and Awana SkyCentral Genting, plus malls such as Mid Valley Megamall and 1 Utama. The "Rise & Shine" poster in the website carousel still names only 37 breakfast branches. Where the poster and the locator disagree, trust the locator, which is longer and newer. If your nearest branch is a mall unit that opens with the mall, the blackout will never affect you.
Classic Tuesdays: the posters still disagree on the saving
Most Malaysian round-ups still list only Monday's chicken and Wednesday's wraps. Texas Chicken's own carousel lists three deals, and Classic Tuesdays is the cheapest of them.
Texas Chicken's own artwork still prints two different normal prices for it, as of 8 October 2026. The square poster on the website says N.P: RM12.50, a RM2.00 saving. The wide "Weekday Savings" banner on the ordering portal says N.P: RM19.98, a RM9.48 saving. RM19.98 equals two à la carte burgers at RM9.99, so it is the more plausible figure. We are not going to state a saving that the brand prints two ways. The price you pay is not in dispute: RM10.50.
What ended in September and early October
- Back to School, 7–11 September, 12pm–6pm: Porridge Star Box RM9.90 and three Star Boxes at RM12.90. It is over, and nothing has replaced it at that price
- Zesty Teriyaki Tenders & Fries, 26 August–23 September: 4pc tenders RM14.90 and fries RM7.90. The banner has gone from the ordering portal
- Ayam Aneka Rasa: the brand's 4 October post said "your last chance is tomorrow", so it ended on 5 October. That also ended the Aneka Rasa Box Meal at RM38.90, which was a GrabFood-only bundle that came with a plushie
- The RM9.90 plushie with tote bag (RM40 minimum spend; Wrap, Fries and Burger designs): Texas Chicken posted a "final call" on 1 October without giving a date. Treat it as stock-dependent at best, and ask at the counter before you build an order around it
- Nachos Mexicana is no longer on the ordering portal. The new Chocolate Chip Biscuits have taken its banner slot, also without a price
Fine print worth knowing
- Dine-in, takeaway and drive-thru only. No deal here works on GrabFood, foodpanda, ShopeeFood or the Food Truck. Delivery apps charge regular menu prices
- No stacking. The weekday deals cannot be combined with any other promotion, offer or discount
- Star Box and Snack Platter prices vary by restaurant, as the brand itself says, so treat printed prices as a reference rather than a national guarantee
- Texas Chicken Malaysia reserves the right to amend the terms without prior notice. That line is on every poster
- Buying vouchers in bulk? The brand's voucher store publishes a corporate discount ladder. Cash vouchers get 2% off from RM5,000, rising to 7% above RM70,000. Meal vouchers get 2% to 10% off depending on quantity, starting from 500 pieces
How to pick
- Cheapest per head: Classic Tuesdays, RM5.25 a burger
- Biggest saving: Awesome Mondays, RM12.00 off 5 pieces. Skip Monday 9 November
- Solo meal: a regular Star Box combo, which includes a large drink. Add the RM7.90 bombers if you want a side to share
- Snacking for a group on a weekend: the RM19.90 Snack Platter
- In Kota Kinabalu at Imago: the weekday deals still apply, but the Extra Crunch Deal does not
- Ordering in: none of the deals apply, so pay menu price or pick up yourself
