> Quick view: Until 30 September 2026, a Perodua service booked on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday gets 10% off parts and labour, an RM70 government subsidy off the invoice, and an RM20 voucher towards the next service. The bill has to include an engine oil change and reach RM280 before tax. Six qualifying days are left, and Perodua is now the only brand in the programme still open.

Servis Ihsan MADANI is a Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) programme, announced by minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali as part of National Month 2026. It puts an RM70 subsidy on a car service at 531 participating centres nationwide: 221 Perodua service centres, 186 Proton service centres and 124 PETRONAS AutoExpert workshops.

Two of those three windows have already closed. Proton's ran 17 August to 17 September, which ended yesterday. PETRONAS AutoExpert ran 17 to 30 August and again 2 to 15 September. Perodua's runs to 30 September 2026, which makes it the last door still open, and the details below are read off Perodua's own campaign page.

What actually comes off the bill

Perodua's page lists three separate benefits, and they are not alternatives. All three apply to the same qualifying service:

  1. 10% off parts and labour, described as an immediate discount by Perodua.
  2. RM70 subsidy, described as an immediate discount from the Government of Malaysia.
  3. RM20 Perodua e-voucher towards your *next* service, valid one year.

The first two are taken off the invoice at the counter. The third arrives later: Perodua says the e-voucher will be awarded by November 2026.

The RM280 threshold is the whole game

To qualify, the job must be a car service that includes an engine oil change, and the bill must reach RM280 before tax and before any discount is applied. That last phrase matters. The RM280 test is run on the raw pre-discount figure, so the 10% coming off afterwards does not push you back under the line.

Here is what the arithmetic does at four bill sizes. All figures are before tax, because Perodua quotes the threshold before tax and does not publish a tax rate on the campaign page. Your invoice will add tax on top in the normal way.

  • RM280 bill: minus RM28 (10%), minus RM70 = RM182. Saved: RM98, or 35% of the bill.
  • RM350 bill: minus RM35, minus RM70 = RM245. Saved: RM105, or 30%.
  • RM450 bill: minus RM45, minus RM70 = RM335. Saved: RM115, or 25.6%.
  • RM600 bill: minus RM60, minus RM70 = RM470. Saved: RM130, or 21.7%.

Notice which direction that runs. The ringgit saving grows with the bill, but the *proportion* shrinks, because the RM70 is a flat amount. The deal is at its sharpest right at the RM280 line and gets steadily blunter above it. There is no reason to add work you do not need.

There is, however, a very good reason to check whether you are just under the line. A RM270 bill qualifies for nothing at all, so you pay RM270. A RM280 bill costs you RM182. Spending RM10 more leaves you RM88 better off. If your quote lands in the RM250 to RM279 range, it is worth asking the service advisor whether anything genuinely due at this interval, such as an air filter or a cabin filter, would take the job over RM280.

Add the RM20 e-voucher and an RM280 service is worth RM118 to you, as long as you actually come back within the voucher's one-year life.

Who this is good for

Take it if your Perodua is due for a service now or within roughly the next month, you drive a model the programme covers (it covers all of them), and you can get the car to a service centre on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Nothing here is model-specific, so a Myvi, Axia, Bezza, Alza, Ativa or Aruz owner is treated the same way.

Skip it if your next service is still three or more months out. Bringing a service forward by a quarter to catch RM70 means throwing away a third of the oil life you already paid for, and that is close to a wash at best. The mileage interval in your service book is the better guide than the campaign calendar.

Skip it too if Monday to Wednesday is impossible for you. There is no weekend version of this offer, and paying for a day of leave to save RM98 is a judgement call, not an obvious win.

The fine print that could trip you up

  • Monday to Wednesday only, and only six days remain. From 18 September the qualifying dates are 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30 September. The campaign ends on a Wednesday, so the last day is itself a valid day. With 221 centres and a short tail, slots will tighten. Book rather than walk in.
  • Two customer types are excluded. Perodua's terms exclude accounts registered as Customer Type "Foreigner" and Customer Type "Company". If your car is under a company name, this one is not for you.
  • The oil has to be theirs. Customers must use engine oil supplied by the service outlet. Bringing your own oil is not allowed, and neither is bringing your own for a top-up. The quantity used must follow the vehicle's prescribed maintenance schedule.
  • Repairs do not count. The terms exclude body and paint (B&P) repair jobs, repair and maintenance jobs, and Part Retail Orders, which is Perodua's term for buying parts over the counter rather than having them fitted during the service. If you are going in for a fix rather than a scheduled service, the subsidy does not attach.
  • The RM20 voucher has strings. It is awarded by November 2026, is for the next service only, is valid one year from issue, is not redeemable for cash, is not transferable, and cannot be used on Part Retail Orders.
  • Book through UFirst. Perodua's own "Book Now" button on the campaign page points to ufirst.com.my. UFirst is Perodua's owner membership programme, with an e-appointment booking function on the web and a UFirst app on the Play Store, App Store and AppGallery.

One thing worth not confusing

Separately from this campaign, Perodua cut the list price of its service maintenance parts and labour by an overall average of 10% from 19 June 2026, across all models including the QV-E. President and CEO Datuk Seri Zainal Abidin Ahmad framed it as roughly 10% off the average service bill. That was a permanent price change, not a promotion.

The campaign 10% on this page is presented as a separate campaign discount. Perodua has not published a combined figure for the two, so rather than assume a headline number, read the itemised invoice at the counter and check that both the 10% line and the RM70 line appear before you pay.
