Adults pay RM125 and a child ticket normally costs RM110, so each matched pair saves RM110. Two adults and two kids pay RM250 instead of RM470. The limits: children cannot outnumber adults on the free tickets, you can only have six paid tickets per transaction, and nothing bought at the gate qualifies.

SplashMania is Gamuda Land's water park in Gamuda Cove, southern Selangor, with 24 slides, a lazy river and a life-size pirate ship called Amazonia. For October it is running Spooky Tales, a Halloween month with the GL Play Buddies mascots walking the park and handing out treats. The part that matters for your wallet is the ticket deal, which GL Play has published in full on its own event page, including worked booking examples. We read it, checked the current price list, and did the maths for the family sizes most people will actually bring.

How to book it, step by step

  1. Go to glplay.com.my, not the ticket counter. The code only works online.
  2. Pick a visit date between 1 and 31 October 2026. Skip Wednesdays unless the date is a public or school holiday, because the park is closed.
  3. Add at least one Adult ticket (13-59 years) and one Child ticket (3-12 years) to the cart.
  4. Match children to adults. The number of promotional Child tickets cannot be higher than the number of Adult tickets. If it is, checkout throws an error.
  5. Have more kids than adults? Add a "Spooky Tales Add On: Child (3-12 yrs)" ticket for each extra child. That ticket is paid.
  6. Apply SPOOKY26 before paying. The free child tickets must be bought in the same transaction as the adult tickets.

What it costs, worked out

These use SplashMania's published prices: RM125 adult, RM110 child, RM110 senior (60 and above), RM65 OKU, and children under 3 free with a paying adult.

  • One parent, one child: RM125 instead of RM235. You save RM110, just under half.
  • Two parents, two kids: RM250 instead of RM470. You save RM220.
  • Two parents, two kids and both grandparents: GL Play's own example books this as 2 Adult + 2 Child + 2 Senior. That comes to RM470 instead of RM690. The seniors pay RM110 each and the two free child tickets are matched to the two adults.
  • Two parents, three kids: two children go free and the third needs an Add On ticket. GL Play does not print the Add On price on the campaign page, so check it in the cart. If it is charged at the normal RM110, you pay RM360 instead of RM580.
  • One parent, two kids: the second child also needs the Add On ticket, so this family saves on one child only.

Budget for extras too. Lockers are RM18, RM40 or RM45 depending on size, tubes are RM19 single, RM28 sun seat and RM39 duo seat, and cabanas run from RM350 to RM550 for the day. Everything inside is cashless, so bring a card or e-wallet.

Who it suits, and who can skip it

It suits families with primary-school kids and an equal number of adults, which is where the saving is cleanest. A two-and-two family pays roughly what two adult tickets alone would cost. It also suits families already planning a Klang Valley weekend in October, since Gamuda Cove is reachable from ELITE, SKVE, MEX and the Cyberjaya Link and sits close to KLIA.

Skip it, or at least do the sums, if your group is mostly adults or teenagers. Anyone 13 and above counts as an adult, so a family with two teens gets nothing extra. Toddlers under 3 already enter free, so they do not need a promo slot. Groups larger than six paying guests will have to split into separate transactions.

Fine print that trips people up

  • Online only. Walk-up tickets at the gate are full price. Book before you drive out.
  • Six paid tickets per transaction. A reunion group of eight adults and eight kids will need at least two bookings.
  • No stacking. SPOOKY26 cannot be combined with other running promotions, digital vouchers, group discounts or special packages. GL Play's rail also shows a Sepang Motorsports 50% off offer and a state holiday 35% off deal; pick one, and compare it against SPOOKY26 for your own group size before paying.   • Non-refundable. Tickets cannot be refunded, transferred or cashed out. October afternoons often bring thunderstorms in the Klang Valley, so go early in the day rather than counting on a rain cancellation.
  • Wednesdays. The park closes on Wednesdays (7, 14, 21 and 28 October) unless it is a public or school holiday. Double-check the date picker before you pay.

For the treats, the campaign poster says to spot Taleo, the wizard mascot, around the park. GL Play invites families to dress up, but check the park rules on ride attire before wearing a costume anywhere near the slides.
