> Status, checked 15 September 2026: SplashMania's RM75 code MATTAKL2026 has ended. Its booking window closed on 13 September, and the card has been pulled from the park's promo rail on GL Play. There is no online promo code for SplashMania now, which changes what you should buy: the Splash Combo at the same RM125 is the better ticket. Four walk-in routes still undercut the gate, and a new annual pass from RM358 makes sense for anyone planning three visits.

MATTAKL2026 is over

GL Play's MATTA Fair Extended Promo gave a flat RM75 ticket for bookings made 7 to 13 September 2026. On 15 September:

  • The MATTA card is no longer among the twelve promo cards on SplashMania's GL Play page
  • Its event page returns "Activity not found"
  • The SplashMania Admission Ticket is back at adult RM125, child RM110, senior RM110

If you bought tickets with the code before it closed, they are still good for the date you picked, up to 4 December 2026. Nothing replaced it online. The August code SMMY69 (RM69) ended even earlier, on 31 August.

What a ticket costs now

The rate card on GL Play, 15 September 2026:

  • Adult, 13 to 59: RM125
  • Child, 3 to 12: RM110
  • Senior, 60 and above: RM110
  • OKU with valid ID: RM65
  • Under 3 with a paying adult: free

For a family of two adults and two children, that is RM470 at full price, against RM300 while the code ran.

Without a code, buy the Splash Combo

SplashMania sells two packages on GL Play, and the prices match line for line: adult RM125, child RM110, senior RM110.

  • SplashMania Admission Ticket: the water park only
  • Splash Combo: the water park plus, free, one of two add-ons

The Combo's add-ons are Adventure Activities at Discovery Park (Goosebumps Rope Course, Cove Aerobar, Paintball Target Shooting and Archery, an adult bundle worth RM105, or RM63 for a child or senior) or Nature Activities at Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands (the Safari Insta-Tour, Boat Cruise and Arboretum Gallery, worth RM60). Both stay valid for three months from your SplashMania visit date.

For scale, Discovery Park's own Discovery Day Pass is RM108 a person for one go on every attraction there. The Combo's adult bundle gets you most of that value at no extra cost.

The plain ticket only won while MATTAKL2026 took it to RM75. That is over, so if you are paying RM125 online anyway, pick the Combo, even if you use the add-on on a later weekend. One thing to know first: Paya Indah activities must be booked at least three days ahead on 012 932 1811 or WhatsApp, quoting your order ID.

Four ways in that beat RM125

1. Birthday month: buy one, get one free. Buy one full-price a la carte ticket at the SplashMania counter during your birthday month and get a second ticket of the same type free. Two adults pay RM62.50 each. The terms: walk-in only, used on the day of purchase, not on Wednesdays, no stacking with other offers, and it runs to 31 July 2027. The free ticket has to match the one bought, so an adult ticket gets an adult ticket.

  • Couple, one birthday: RM250 becomes RM125
  • Two adults and two children, one parent's birthday: RM470 becomes RM345 (the free ticket covers the second adult; the children pay RM110 each)

2. Sepang Motorsports Special, 1 to 11 October 2026. Show any valid 2026 ticket or official wristband from a motorsport event held at Sepang and get 50% off SplashMania entry, which is RM62.50 for an adult and RM55 for a child. The same wristband also unlocks one 50%-off Discovery Park pass. The catch for families: one ticket or wristband equals one discounted pass per attraction, so four people need four wristbands. Walk-in at the counters only, and it cannot be combined with other offers. 1 October is a Thursday and 11 October a Sunday, so the window covers two weekends.

3. Cuti Negeri, Jom Main Sini: 35% off on your state's holiday dates. Residents of the state on the calendar get 35% off a la carte tickets, RM81.25 for an adult and RM71.50 for a child. The counter checks the state code on your original MyKad or MyKid. One card buys one discounted ticket per attraction, and only the first 500 walk-ins a day qualify. The next windows on GL Play's calendar:

  • Kelantan: 27 to 29 September 2026 (state codes 03, 29)
  • Sarawak: 9 to 11 October 2026 (13)
  • Perak: 5 to 7 November 2026 (08)
  • Selangor: 10 to 12 December 2026 (10)

The offer runs to 31 July 2027 and ends with Penang on 9 to 11 July 2027.

4. OKU rate, RM65. It is on the standard rate card with valid identification, any open day.

Students in universities, colleges and polytechnics pay a flat RM95 at the counter with a student ID plus MyKad or student pass. It is RM30 under the adult rate, but it cannot be combined with other offers.

The new annual pass: when it pays

SplashMania now sells two annual passes, only at its ticketing counter:

  • Splash Saver, RM358 nett: unlimited entry on *selected* operating days, 5% off food, retail and cabana rentals, 10% off selected GL Play attractions
  • Splash Champion, RM388 nett: unlimited entry on *all* operating days, 10% off food, retail and cabanas, 15% off selected GL Play attractions

Both last 365 days from purchase, cannot be transferred, and you show ID with the pass at entry. The break-even against the RM125 adult rate:

  • Splash Saver: three visits at the gate cost RM375, so the pass is RM17 ahead by the third visit
  • Splash Champion: three visits cost RM375, still under RM388; it pays on the fourth visit (RM500, RM112 ahead)
  • A child on the RM110 rate needs four visits to cover the Saver (RM440)

GL Play lists one price per pass, with no child or senior rate, so passes suit adults and teenagers most. GL Play does not say which days the Saver's "selected operating days" are. If you plan school-holiday or public-holiday visits, ask at the counter before choosing the cheaper pass. The RM30 extra for Champion covers that gap.

Wednesdays and hours

SplashMania opens 10am to 6pm and closes every Wednesday except Malaysian public and school holidays. The birthday offer's terms repeat the same rule. Ticket counters close an hour before the park, so arrive by 5pm if you are buying at the counter. Wednesday 16 September 2026 is Malaysia Day and the park is open.

Will your children get on the big slides?

Admission covers 39 rides and attractions across 18 acres, but the headline slides have height floors:

  • 122cm minimum: Monsta, Twista, Plunge, Twin Turbo, Sumaumeira Drop, Curl & Swirl
  • 120cm minimum: Shaka Waka, Rush Havoc, Aqua Swirl, Spills & Thrills
  • 106cm minimum: Maniac Racers
  • 106cm to 137cm only: Mini Mania, Mini Monsta and Tiny Twista
  • With a supervising adult: Curl & Swirl and Twin Turbo take a child of 106 to 122cm

A child under 120cm is mostly limited to the junior slides, Treasure Tower, the Ravage River lazy river and the splash pad.

What the ticket doesn't cover

  • Lockers: RM18 small, RM40 medium, RM45 large
  • Tubes: RM19 single, RM28 sun seat, RM39 duo seat
  • Cabanas: RM350 for four people up to RM550 for ten, 10am to 5pm, RM100 refundable deposit
  • Wheelchair or stroller: RM23, RM20 refundable deposit
  • Splash Lane priority queue: RM65 per person on top of admission

A family of two adults and two children at full price, with two single tubes and a medium locker, spends about RM548 before food. The same family on one parent's birthday spends about RM423.

Which route fits you

  • It's someone's birthday month: walk in with the birthday person's MyKad and take the buy-one-free-one
  • You went to a Sepang race this year: keep the wristband and go between 1 and 11 October
  • You live in Kelantan, Sarawak, Perak or Selangor: plan around your state's Cuti Negeri dates, and arrive early for the 500-a-day cap
  • You'll go three or more times in a year: buy the Splash Saver at the counter on your first visit
  • None of the above: book the Splash Combo online at RM125, not the plain ticket

Fine print

  • All GL Play tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, with no refund for bad weather
  • Walk-in offers cannot be combined with each other or with packages
  • Guests under 13 must be with an adult aged 18 or over
  • No outside food or drink, glass, sharp objects, or personal floats and tubes
  • The park is cashless
  • GL Play marks Cuti Negeri as eligible for Domestic Tourism Tax Relief
