Moving House in Malaysia 2026: The Address and Utilities Checklist, From the RM10 MyKad to the RM300 Fibre Move
Moving house in Malaysia means changing your address in at least eight places, and none of them talk to each other. Your MyKad costs RM10 to update, your voting address needs a separate application, TNB wants a deposit of RM170 to RM1,600, and Indah Water will keep billing the old name until someone tells it. MR.DIY Jom Beli Barangan Malaysia Extended to 31 October: The Seven Real Discounts, the 20-Sen Ones, and Why Sabah and Sarawak Pay More
MR.DIY's local-goods campaign, first billed to end on 30 September, now runs to 31 October 2026 at its 1,500-plus Malaysian stores, at exactly the same prices. The flyer is far more uneven than the poster suggests. Farm Fresh Moola is a straight buy 1 free 1 and the Felton rattan stool drops 31 per cent to RM7.90, but DAY's dishwashing paste is marked down 20 sen and Softlan fabric softener 60 sen. MR.DIY also publishes two different flyers: the Sabah and Sarawak price list is higher on every shared item, cuts less deeply on some of them, and leaves out four Peninsular lines including the campaign's only genuine 1-for-1.
