We read eight Klang Valley suppliers on 16 September 2026: one publishes a full supply and install rate card down to skirting and stair nosing, one publishes a thickness ladder from RM2.87, one prices individual designs from RM3.90, and five publish no price at all. The gap between the headline and the invoice is hacking, levelling, skirting and wastage.

A CIDB grade caps the contract you can legally take, from RM200,000 at G1 to no limit at G7, and only one firm here holds B07, the code CIDB actually uses for interior decoration. Two firms listed by the top-ranking Kuching renovation directory have dead domains, one links to a signboard maker, and one studio's showcase images are AI generated, garbled wall text and all.

Search "renovation contractor Seremban" and the first page hands you a Bangi company's location page, a nationwide lead-generation site with no Negeri Sembilan office, and a domain that now redirects to a Chinese 3D model library. We opened every result and kept only the firms with a Seremban or Negeri Sembilan address and a company number you can check yourself. Then we found the price data everybody misses: RS Interior Renovation publishes 108 finished jobs with the total stamped on the photograph, and the 104 legible ones run RM2,100 to RM37,000 with a median of RM8,700.
8 Curtain & Blinds Specialists in KL & Klang Valley 2026 — Who Publishes a Price, and the Warranty Gap Between One Year and Five
Windows are the line item people leave to the end of a renovation and then discover costs four figures. We read eight Klang Valley curtain and blinds specialists' own websites this week, and only one publishes a price list at all: blinds.my lists vertical blinds from RM9 a square foot and zip blinds from RM55 — the same "from RM9" headline covering a six-fold spread once you pick a product. Nobody publishes a per-metre curtain price, because curtains are not sold by the window; they are sold by the metre of fabric, multiplied by a fullness ratio the quote rarely names — the one curtain figure we found is a fixed package, BAAGUS's RM5,787 for a living room and three bedrooms. What the eight do publish, and what almost nobody compares, is the part that matters five years later: blinds.my gives one year on blinds and five on motorised systems, MK Curtain gives three years, and Maxtrack gives five years across all its window-shading components. Three of the eight will come back to clean the curtains, though only MK Curtain publishes the fee. EverGreen Custom Cabinets publishes a full material table running from RM180–RM280 a running foot for E0 particle board to RM350–RM450 for solid wood, and says a 10ft × 10ft kitchen — about 20 running feet — lands between RM4,000 and RM12,000 installed. The Cabinet Maker sells whole-home packages instead, at RM15,980, RM18,980 and RM21,980. Cabiné sells packages from RM3,100 and RM6,000, and Rowenda Kitchen has started publishing an aluminium table of its own at RM180–RM650 per linear foot. Signature, the largest operator here — twenty-seven Klang Valley showrooms and a Bursa listing — publishes no prices at all.
