Tanjong Jara Resort MATTA Residents' Package: RM799 a Night With All Meals for Two, Still Bookable After the Fair
The MATTA Fair ended on 6 September, but Tanjong Jara Resort in Dungun, Terengganu is still selling its MATTA Fair Residents' Package on its own booking engine: RM799 a night instead of RM1,299 for a Bumbung Room with breakfast, lunch and dinner for two, for stays to 31 March 2027. We priced it against the resort's other rates for October, the last month before the monsoon break.

The MATTA Fair Residents' Package that Gaya Island Resort kept open after the 4 to 6 September 2026 fair is gone from the resort's booking engine. We re-ran it on 13 September and found only the standing Residents' Package and Be Rewarded. We also found that the engine's prices are per night, not per stay, which our first version got wrong. So here is the corrected picture: the Residents' Package from RM1,299 a night with breakfast, set lunch and set dinner for two, RM3,185.64 all in for two nights for a Malaysian couple, priced against every other rate the resort still sells.

A'Famosa Resort's MATTA Fair 2026 pricing has ended. Re-read on 30 September on the resort's own ticketing checkout and booking engine, the RM89 two-park ticket is gone. Park tickets are now priced by age (Safari Wonderland RM65 adult / RM59 child, senior or OKU; Water World RM49 / RM39), one RM319 annual pass replaces the RM289/RM239 pair, and the MATTA room plans have given way to Gemilang Gateaway, from RM189 for the Condo Family Studio to RM699 for the fenced-pool villa, 40 to 54 percent under the resort's own public rate.
