> Quick view: on Saturday 31 October 2026, AEON Members earn a RM5 e-voucher for every RM80 spent in one receipt storewide. Paying that RM80+ with an AEON credit card, AEON Member Plus Visa or AEON Wallet adds one more RM5 Reward Voucher. From 30 October to 1 November, a separate Electrifying Savings promo pays RM5 for every RM100 spent on electrical items. This is the last Thank You Day in the April-October 2026 run that AEON has published.

AEON has held Thank You Day on the last Saturday of every month since April. October's falls on the 31st, a few days after the month-end payday, so it is the natural day to do a big household shop if you already buy groceries at AEON. All the mechanics below come from the poster and terms AEON published on its Thank You Day page.

How Thank You Day works, step by step

  1. Be an AEON Member. Every part of this promo is members only. If you are not one yet, the posters carry a QR code to sign up through AEON Wallet.
  2. Shop on 31 October at an AEON store. Scan your membership at the cashier before you pay.
  3. Spend RM80 or more in one receipt. You get RM5 for every full RM80. RM159 earns one voucher; RM160 earns two. Receipts cannot be added together.
  4. The voucher arrives as an e-voucher in AEON Wallet. AEON says it is valid for 14 days, so check the expiry date shown in the app rather than assuming.
  5. Optional bonus: pay at least RM80 with an AEON card or AEON Wallet, then bring both the AEON receipt and the payment receipt to the Customer Service Counter the same day to collect a RM5 paper Reward Voucher. It is one per member per day, first come first served, and each store has an issuance limit.

There is a cap, but few households will hit it: RM100 of e-vouchers (20 pieces) per receipt at AEON Supermarket, and RM1,000 (200 pieces) per receipt in the General Merchandise departments such as clothing, home and electrical.

Worked examples

  • A RM150 weekly shop paid by debit card earns one RM5 e-voucher. Adding RM10 of things you would buy anyway takes you to RM160 and two vouchers, so RM10 back on RM160 (6.25%).
  • The same RM160 paid through AEON Wallet earns the two e-vouchers plus the RM5 Reward Voucher at the counter: RM15 back, about 9.4%.
  • A RM160 trolley with a RM30 tin of formula and a RM25 bag of local rice. AEON's terms say those items are not entitled to vouchers, so plan on only about RM105 counting. That is one voucher, not two.
  • A RM400 clothing and bedding run in the department store side earns five vouchers, worth RM25.

Electrifying Savings, 30 October to 1 November

This one is separate from Thank You Day. AEON Members get a RM5 paper voucher for every RM100 spent in one receipt on electrical items at the AEON Electrical Department or AEON Electrical Shop, capped at RM250 (50 vouchers) per receipt. A RM1,899 washing machine earns 18 vouchers, worth RM90. Collect them on the day of purchase at the Customer Service Counter or the AEON Electrical Shop counter.

The vouchers are valid for 14 days from the day after the promo ends, which works out to about 2 to 15 November, and can be used storewide at AEON stores and AEON Electrical Shops. Selected multimedia and electrical products are excluded, and the promo does not run at AEON Falim or AEON Kuantan. AEON's posters do not say whether one electrical receipt on 31 October can earn both Thank You Day and Electrifying Savings vouchers, so ask Customer Service before you pay for anything big.

What does not count

On Thank You Day, purchases of these items will not earn e-vouchers:

  • Government-controlled items: local rice, palm oil, sugar and flour
  • Festive hampers, infant milk powder, Eu Yan Sang products and Apple products
  • AEON gift vouchers, mooncake vouchers, AEON Star Rewards items, shopping bags, stamps, cigarettes, telco reloads, the AEON Member Plus Visa renewal fee, and Touch 'n Go or AEON Member Plus Visa top-ups

You also cannot spend the e-vouchers at AEON Online, myAEON2go, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu Prime, AEON Danga Bay, AEON United Point, AEON STYLE Supermarket Setia EcoHill, AEON Wellness, mall tenant shops, ARENA Restaurant, Molly Fantasy, DAISO by AEON, AEON Petemo Petlife or Tsutaya at AEON Tebrau City. They work in the AEON store's supermarket, clothing, children's, home and electrical sections.

Who it is good for, and who should skip it

It suits families who already do a monthly stock-up at an AEON store, especially if they pay with AEON Wallet: that extra RM5 is the best-value part of the day on smaller baskets. It is less useful if your trolley is mostly rice, cooking oil and formula, which do not count, or if your nearest outlet is an AEON BiG, which is a different format and not where the vouchers can be spent. Do not chase the next RM80 band with things you would not otherwise buy; RM5 back on RM80 only beats a normal shelf discount if the items were on your list.

AEON Kuantan extra

AEON Kuantan alone adds a gift with purchase on 31 October: spend RM150 in one receipt and collect a free Mini Food Cup (blue or pink) at Customer Service. It is limited to 100 redemptions a day, one per member, while stocks last.

Tips before you go

  • Get your AEON Wallet set up and logged in before Saturday, not at the till.
  • Keep a big shop on one receipt. Each receipt's leftover below RM80 earns nothing, so splitting a trolley usually loses you a voucher.
  • Keep the payment slip if you pay by AEON card. You need it with the AEON receipt to claim the bonus voucher.
  • Spend the vouchers within the two-week window. AEON states no extension will be given.

AEON can alter or end these offers without notice, so check the official page or your store's Customer Service Counter on the day.
