> Quick view: AEON BiG's Biweekly Shopping Besar has rolled to a new cycle, 17-29 September 2026 — and the whole Purchase-With-Purchase list carried over unchanged. Same 12 items, same prices, same store exclusions. Spend RM50 or more in a single receipt and you can still buy up to five (5) of them, including the Cornell kettle at RM99.90 against a printed normal price of RM399.00. If you missed the last cycle, this is a straight second chance, and it closes on 29 September.

The mechanic, in one line

Printed across the bottom of the catalogue's front page, word for word as in the last cycle: "With every storewide purchase of RM50 and above in a single receipt, customer is entitled to purchase five (5) PWP items with special price."

  • The RM50 is storewide — any mix of groceries, fresh, household, anything in the store counts toward it
  • It must be one receipt. Two RM30 visits do not add up to RM50
  • You get to buy up to five PWP items, not one — and nothing says they must be five *different* items
  • No membership card is named anywhere in the mechanic. It is a spend threshold, not a member price
  • Everything is while stocks last

All 12 PWP items and prices, 17-29 September 2026

Each line is the PWP price, then AEON BiG's own printed normal price (NP), then what you actually save:

The two appliances are where the money is. The Cornell kettle is a 75% cut off its printed normal price and the Faber fan a 52% cut; nothing in the grocery half of the list beats 41%.

We said this list would not carry over. It did

Our previous update, written on 10 September, closed with the line that this cycle's 12 items "will not carry over" into the next catalogue. That was a guess, and it was wrong. The 17-29 September catalogue's PWP page is item-for-item identical to the 2-16 September one: the same twelve brands and pack sizes, the same twelve PWP prices, the same twelve printed normal prices, and the same per-item store exclusions on the fan and the kettle.

That matters for two reasons. First, if you looked at the Cornell kettle at RM99.90 and hesitated, you have until 29 September to go back for it — nothing in the three earlier cycles suggested a repeat was possible. Second, the item list is no longer a reliable signal that a new catalogue has dropped. Check the date band on the cover, not the products.

Cycle by cycle, from AEON BiG's own catalogues:

  • 4-16 August 2026: 13 PWP items, RM3.50 (Jack 'n Jill Roller Coaster Funpack 5x15g) to RM56.90 (Milux MJK-180 1.7L jug kettle, NP RM109.90)

The catalogue and the website give two different start dates

Worth flagging: AEON BiG's own promotions listing dates this cycle "16th to 29th September 2026", while the catalogue's cover, and the header on all 21 interior pages, reads "17 - 29 September 2026". The previous cycle ran to the 16th, so the website's version would have two cycles overlapping for a day.

We have gone with the catalogue. It is the document the shelf prices are printed from, and it is internally consistent on every page. Either way the end date is 29 September in both, so the only day in dispute is the 16th, which has already passed — nothing you plan now is affected.

Which outlets actually get all 12

This is the part the poster buries in six-point type, and it changes what is on the shelf for you:

  • AEON BiG Sri Petaling and AEON BiG Penang Prai are excluded from the whole catalogue. The header on every page reads "All promotion exclude AEON BiG Sri Petaling & Penang Prai" — not just the PWP items, the entire Biweekly Shopping Besar
  • The Faber table fan excludes Jaya One, Palm Mall and Danau Kota
  • The Cornell kettle excludes Sutera Utama, Bukit Rimau, Ipoh, Jaya One, Palm Mall and Danau Kota

Netted out: at Jaya One, Palm Mall and Danau Kota you get 10 of the 12 items and neither appliance. At Sutera Utama, Bukit Rimau and Ipoh you get 11 — the fan, but no kettle. Everywhere else except Sri Petaling and Penang Prai, all 12. The catalogue adds a general line that "selected products in this promotion are not available at selected AEON BiG Hypermarkets", so a phone call before a special trip is still worth it.

Worked example: what five picks are actually worth

Maximum-value basket — take the five biggest absolute savings (Cornell kettle, Faber fan, Darlie, Nescafe, BOH). You pay RM209.80 for goods with a printed normal price of RM609.50. That is RM399.70 off, or 66% — on top of whatever RM50 receipt got you in.

Groceries-only basket — if you don't want an appliance, the best five are Darlie, Nescafe, BOH, Sofy and Harpic: RM45.00 against RM67.09 normal, so RM22.09 off, about 33%.

The trap: the RM50 threshold is separate spend. If you were only going to buy RM30 of groceries, padding the basket to RM50 to unlock a RM1.30 saving on Cadbury Cookies costs you RM20 you didn't plan to spend.

Clearing the RM50 on things that are themselves discounted

That trap has an answer, and it is the other 20 pages of the catalogue. The RM50 does not have to be paid at full price — the same catalogue marks down the rest of the store, so a basket that clears the threshold can be made almost entirely of discounted stock. From the dairy and frozen pages, all 17-29 September prices:

A litre of milk, Anchor butter, a tray of eggs, a bag of Emborg fries and a pack of Kawan paratha lands at about RM48-RM49 — one more discounted line clears RM50, and every item on that list is already below its printed normal price. That is the difference between paying RM50 to unlock the PWP slots and spending RM50 you were going to spend anyway.

Santai Weekend Deals, 18-20 September: the fresh counter, three days only

A second AEON BiG flyer is live on top of the biweekly right now — Santai Weekend Deals, 18 to 20 September 2026 — and it is where fresh is priced:

  • Chicken drumstick — RM1.39/100g (NP RM1.59)
  • Udang harimau L (tiger prawns) — RM3.59/100g (NP RM4.59)
  • Whole Norwegian fjord trout — RM5.99/100g (NP RM6.99); steak cut RM6.99/100g (NP RM7.99)
  • Australian chilled beef block 250g — RM13.90/pack (NP RM14.90)
  • Red onion — RM0.29/100g (NP RM0.35)
  • Broccoli — buy 2 at RM4.50 (NP RM2.95 each)
  • Valencia orange L — RM1.00/pc (NP RM1.40)

Same two-store exclusion as the biweekly. Three bakery and ready-meal lines — the rich chocolate bun (buy 2 at RM4.50), the assorted teriyaki burger (RM2.50) and the nasi dengan ayam goreng sos percik (RM6.00) — additionally exclude Mid Valley and Bukit Rimau, and the nasi also excludes Palm Mall.

Do not assume there will be one next weekend. Santai Weekend Deals is not a weekly fixture: AEON BiG has published four, on 7-9 August, 14-16 August, 4-6 September and 18-20 September 2026 — two in one August fortnight, then a three-week gap. If those fresh prices are how you mean to clear RM50, shop them by Sunday 20 September. The PWP list itself runs to the 29th either way.

The electricals pages, and 0% interest to 36 months

The catalogue's back pages are televisions and appliances, and they carry their own instalment terms: 0% interest for up to 36 months on AEON, Alliance Bank, AmBank, CIMB, HSBC, Hong Leong, Maybank, Public Bank, RHB and Standard Chartered cards. That is separate from the PWP mechanic and does not need the RM50 receipt. Sample lines from the 17-29 September catalogue:

Each of those carries its own outlet exclusions printed underneath — the Sharp 50", for instance, is out at Shah Alam Section 23, Danau Kota and Palm Mall.

Every AEON BiG campaign live right now

Last cycle, Biweekly Shopping Besar was the odd one out: it died on the 16th while five other campaigns ran to the 29th. That gap has closed. As of 19 September, from AEON BiG's own campaign pages:

Six of the seven now end on the same day, 29 September. There is no longer a mid-month deadline to work around: any trip between now and the 29th catches everything except the weekend flyer, which needs a visit by Sunday. One caveat worth stating — Home Sweet Home Deals has dropped off the first page of AEON BiG's promotions listing, but its own campaign page is still live and still dated 2-29 September 2026, so it has not ended; it has just scrolled.

Who this suits, who should skip

  • Worth planning around: anyone already doing a full RM50+ shop who needs a kettle or a fan. The Cornell at RM99.90 against RM399 is the single best line in the catalogue by a wide margin, and this is the second and — on every precedent — last window for it
  • Worth a small detour: coffee and tea households. Nescafe Classic 100g at RM10 and BOH 100s at RM10 are both around a third off, and both keep
  • Worth a Friday-to-Sunday trip instead: anyone buying meat, fish or produce. The Santai prices beat anything on the biweekly's grocery list, but they expire on the 20th
  • Skip the picks that look cheap but aren't: Cadbury Cookies (RM6.00 off RM7.30, 18%) and the Sekoplas garbage bags (as little as 50 sen off) burn one of your five slots for almost nothing. Five slots is the real currency here — spend them on the biggest ringgit gaps, not the lowest prices
  • Skip entirely if you shop at Sri Petaling or Penang Prai. Neither store runs any of it

When the next cycle lands

Four cycles are now on record: 4-16 August, 17-31 August, 2-16 September and 17-29 September 2026. The changeover sits around the 1st/2nd and the 17th — except this one stops on the 29th, a day or two short of the pattern, which points at the next catalogue starting 30 September or 1 October 2026. Nothing about its contents can be stated before AEON BiG publishes it. What this cycle did teach is that "the items will be different" is no longer a safe assumption either — so if a PWP price matters to you, the thing to check when the next catalogue lands is the cover date, then the list.

Every price, item name and exclusion above was read on 19 September 2026 off AEON BiG's own catalogue PDFs, downloaded from its official promotion pages at aeonbig.com.my: the 21-page Biweekly Shopping Besar catalogue dated 17-29 September 2026, and the 4-page Santai Weekend Deals catalogue dated 18-20 September 2026. The RM50 / five-item mechanic and the two-store exclusion are printed on the biweekly catalogue's front page and page headers; the instalment terms and bank list are printed on its electricals page. The concurrent campaign windows come from each campaign's own page on aeonbig.com.my, read the same day, including the Home Sweet Home Deals page that no longer appears on the promotions listing. The 16-versus-17 September start-date conflict is between AEON BiG's promotions listing and its own catalogue cover; both are quoted above. The identical carry-over was confirmed by comparing this catalogue's PWP page against the 2-16 September catalogue, which is still online. Stock levels are not published and the catalogue states the offer is valid while stocks last, so call your outlet before making a special trip for the kettle or the fan.
