> Quick view: Guardian's free RM10 coupon last ran 23–28 July 2026. On 4 November 2026 we still found no new window, a 99-day gap and the longest this year. The offers worth using instead are the member Buy 1 Free 1 (4 November to 1 December), the online Slash & Save codes (to 30 November), and the MY40+ and student Tuesday perks.
Is the free RM10 coupon still on?
No. The most recent window ran 23–28 July 2026. As of 4 November 2026 we found no newer window in the places it would show up:
- Guardian's X account (@GuardianMYS): the May, June and July windows were each announced there about a day ahead. The five posts we could see on 4 November, all from 3 November, cover the new November campaigns and don't mention the free RM10 coupon. One does offer a different RM15 coupon, covered below. X shows only those five without a login, so we can't rule out a short-lived post earlier in October.
- Guardian's weekly terms posts on guardianmy.com: the latest, for 29 October to 3 November, lists Beauty Days and Syok-ing Sale lines only. These posts never listed the coupon even in weeks it ran, so this is weak evidence on its own.
- Malaysian deal sites: Syioknya's Guardian listing, updated on 3 November, still shows 23–28 July as the latest coupon.
That makes a 99-day gap, well past the 68 days between the March and May windows. So the run of windows from May to July looks like a mid-year push rather than a fixed schedule.
How the coupon worked
The fine print was the same on every 2026 poster we checked (23–25 May and 25–30 June):
- Buy any item, any amount, in a single receipt at a Guardian store during the window.
- You receive one free RM10 coupon at the counter.
- The coupon is for in-store purchases only. It never applied on guardian.com.my or the app.
- Redeem it on your next purchase, with a minimum spend of RM100 in one receipt.
- Terms and conditions apply and it is while stocks last, so a store can run out before the last day.
- No promo code and no membership requirement appear on the posters.
Every 2026 window we could trace
- 1 January 2026: a one-day New Year window, reported by the deal site Syioknya with redemption to 7 January. We could not find Guardian's own post for it.
- 1–4 February 2026: in-store, any purchase
- 13–16 March 2026: in-store, any purchase
- 23–25 May 2026: posted on Guardian's X account on 22 May as a "coupon surprise"
- 25–30 June 2026: posted on 24 June, alongside that week's Beauty Days and Syok-ing Sale
- 2–6 July 2026: paired with a selected-tissue offer (second item for RM0.10)
- 9–13 July 2026: posted on 8 July
- 23–28 July 2026: the last window so far
That is eight windows, most of them three to six days long. Guardian gave roughly one day's notice each time it posted on X. If it returns, expect a short window that starts the day after the post.
What beats the coupon right now
Member Buy 1 Free 1, 4 November to 1 December 2026
Guardian's poster, which we read on Syioknya, advertises Member Buy 1 Free 1, mix and match, over 600 products, 4 Nov to 1 Dec 2026. Its fine print says the promo is for Guardian members and for participating brands and ranges only, while stocks last.
We tried it in a guest cart on guardian.com.my on 4 November and did not place an order:
- Two Medicube Zero Pore Pad 2.0 at RM110 each came to RM110, under the cart label "NP -P11 MS THEM B1F1 MM".
- A RM10 coupon on the same RM220 basket would have saved RM10. Buy 1 Free 1 saved RM110.
The guest cart gave the discount with no login, but the poster says members only, so join before you rely on it, especially at a store till. We did not test a store. How the rule picks the free item, and which products it skips, is in our Guardian November deals guide. In short: it pays most on an even pair at similar prices, and it did nothing on the marked-down products we tried.
The closest thing to a free coupon: Clera Cera kit plus RM15, to 29 December 2026
From 4 November to 29 December, members can redeem a free Clera Cera Experience Kit (30ml cleanser and 30ml lotion) for 100 MYpoints, in store only, and get a RM15 coupon with it. At the printed rate, 100 points is worth RM0.50. Neither the post nor the poster says what the RM15 coupon applies to, its minimum spend or its expiry, so ask at the counter. Stocks are limited.
Slash & Save codes, 1 to 30 November 2026
These are online only, and each code has a limited number of redemptions:
- SLASH15: RM15 off RM250, limited to 100 redemptions
- SLASH25: RM25 off RM350, limited to 100
- SLASH35: RM35 off RM400, limited to 100
- SLASH50: RM50 off RM600, limited to 50
- SLASH80: RM80 off RM1,000, limited to 50
At the minimum spend that is 6% to 8.75%, below the coupon's 10% at RM100. They suit a big online order you were already going to make. Each code applied in our guest carts on 4 November once the basket reached its minimum.
MY40+ Rewards: RM10 off every Tuesday
Guardian's MY40+ Rewards page offers members an extra RM10 off every Tuesday with a RM150 purchase of health care products. In a sense this is the RM10 coupon made permanent, but it is narrower:
- The rate is lower. RM10 on RM150 is 6.7%, against the coupon's 10% at RM100.
- It is limited to health care products and to MY40+ members.
- There is no need to make a qualifying purchase first. You just shop on a Tuesday. The next ones are 10, 17 and 24 November and 1 December.
The artwork does not say whether the RM150 counts sale prices, or whether the offer works online as well as in store. Ask at the till before you build a basket around it.
MY Student Rewards: extra 10% off on Tuesdays
Student members get an extra 10% off every Tuesday, per Guardian's MY Student Rewards page. No minimum spend is printed on the artwork, so a RM30 basket would save RM3. That beats a coupon that needed RM100.
FIRSTAPP12 and free delivery
- FIRSTAPP12: RM12 off a first purchase of RM100 or more in the Guardian MY app, one use per registered account. The terms were still on guardian.com.my on 4 November. On a RM100 order that is 12%, but you can only use it once. A guest cart on the website rejected the code, which fits its app-only terms. We did not test it in the app.
- Free delivery: online orders of RM100 or more ship free within Peninsular Malaysia.
What points are worth, and the 1 million MYpoints draw
MYguardian Rewards gives 1 MYpoint per RM1, and 200 MYpoints = RM1 off. That is a 0.5% return, so earning RM10 through points takes about RM2,000 of spending. Guardian's posts also promise members RM250+ of welcome coupons and 10X MYpoints on a first purchase. The posters don't break down the coupons, and you join through the guardianMY app.
From 4 November to 1 December, a member receipt of RM30 or more, in store or online, enters you automatically in a draw for 1 million MYpoints. There are 28 of those prizes, plus 9 Dyson hair dryers, 10 Ulike LED masks and 9 Apple Watches. At the printed rate, 1 million points works out to RM5,000 off. It is a draw, not a discount, so don't spend extra for it. The campaign page showed no terms when we opened it on 4 November, so we only have the poster's summary.
What the coupon is worth: worked examples
These use guardian.com.my prices on 4 November 2026. Shelf prices can differ, so treat them as illustrations.
- Earning it cost almost nothing. A Colgate Plax Peppermint 100ml is still RM2.99, and any purchase qualified.
- Redeeming at normal prices: Blackmores Vitamin C 500mg (60 tablets) at RM47.50 plus Cetaphil Skin Cleanser 473ml at RM75.65 comes to RM123.15. A coupon would cut it to RM113.15, about 8% off.
- The markdown trap: both items are on sale to 1 December, at RM33.25 and RM64.30. Our cart totalled RM97.55, which is RM2.45 short of RM100, so a coupon might not have applied. The posters never said whether the RM100 is checked before or after sale prices. The markdown alone already takes about 21% off.
- The best rate is exactly RM100, which gives 10% off. The rate falls as you spend more: at RM200 the same coupon is only 5%.
Who the coupon suited, and who can skip waiting for it
It suited regular Guardian shoppers who already spend RM100 or more per visit on vitamins, skin care or household refills, and who can split a shop across two trips.
You don't need to wait for it if you are buying two tagged normal-price items before 1 December, since Buy 1 Free 1 pays far more than RM10. If you are 40 or over and buy supplements, the Tuesday RM10 is the closest thing to the coupon that runs every week. If you only need one item, look for a marked-down one.
Fine print for the next coupon window
- The coupon's own expiry date is not printed on the poster. The January window gave about a week to redeem, so read the date on the coupon itself.
- The posters do not say whether two coupons can be used on one RM200 receipt, so don't count on stacking them.
- This offer has never used a code. A "Guardian RM10 code" on a coupon-listing site is something else.
