> Quick view: Harvey Norman's Factory Outlet Unbeatable Sale runs from 1 to 28 October 2026 at its three factory outlets in Citta Mall, Petaling Jaya, Ampang Point and Paradigm Mall Johor Bahru. The terms say the prices also apply online. The banner promises up to 75% off. We pulled every one of the 45 items tagged for this sale on 3 October: the deepest cut is 74.1%, televisions sit between 15% and 39%, and the 70% markdowns are almost all bedding, wall art and laptop bags.

What the sale is
Harvey Norman runs three "factory outlet" stores that act as its clearance arm in the Klang Valley and Johor. In September the same three stores carried the Top Brands Mega Clearance. October's replacement is the Unbeatable Sale, with a campaign page on harveynorman.com.my and a banner listing the three malls. The terms on that page say "the featured promotions are valid for in-store and online purchases from 1 October to 28 October 2026".
Each item that belongs to this sale carries the red line "Factory Outlet Unbeatable Sale!" on its listing. That label matters, because the campaign page also shows products from other promotions (see the fine print below).
How to shop it, step by step
- Start on the campaign page. Go to Harvey Norman's Factory Outlet Unbeatable Sale page and filter mentally by the red tag. Ignore items tagged "Race Day Deals!" or "Menara Harvey Norman Carpark Sale!", which are separate campaigns.
- Screenshot the price. If you plan to buy in-store, show the outlet staff the online price so you are quoting the same campaign.
- Call the outlet before driving. Stock is limited and split across three stores. Citta Mall is on (03) 7846 1025, Ampang Point on (03) 4260 1020 and Paradigm Mall JB on (07) 231 4368.
- Check the hours. Citta Mall opens 10am to 9pm; Ampang Point and Paradigm Mall JB open 10am to 10pm, daily.
What the discounts really look like
We worked out now-price against was-price for all 45 tagged items:
- Televisions (12 models): 15.1% to 38.6% off. The deepest is the Samsung 50-inch Crystal UHD U8500H at RM1,597 (was RM2,599).
- Fridges and washers (5 models): 22.7% to 45.7%. The LG 9kg front-load washer is RM1,521 (was RM2,799).
- Audio: the JBL Cinema SB550 soundbar is RM1,047 (was RM1,899), and a Fender RIFF portable speaker RM799 (was RM2,399).
- Bedding, décor and bags (24 items): all between 65% and 74%. Twelve of them clear 70%.
- Mattress: the Hilker Premium Suite II Queen is RM7,019 (was RM11,699), a 40% cut.
So the "up to 75%" headline is close to true only for soft furnishings and accessories. If you came for a TV, expect roughly a quarter off.
Worked examples in RM
- Upgrading the living-room TV: Samsung's 55-inch U8500H is RM1,997, saving RM902. The 65-inch is RM2,697, so the extra 10 inches cost RM700. That 65-inch price is identical to what Harvey Norman charged under September's Top Brands Mega Clearance, so this is not a new low.
- A first home on a budget: the Sharp 7kg front-load washer (RM1,199) plus the LG 235L two-door fridge (RM1,391) comes to RM2,590, against RM3,698 at list. You save RM1,108.
- Bedroom refresh: a Nirvana queen quilt cover set (RM279, was RM929) and a set of three Parisa hand towels (RM19, was RM54) cost RM298 together.
- Back to campus: a Targus 15.6-inch Sagano backpack (RM79, was RM279) and a Tucano 14-inch MacBook sleeve (RM49, was RM149) total RM128, about 70% below the RM428 list price.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
It suits anyone furnishing a room, buying gifts, or replacing bedding, where the markdowns genuinely run near 70%. It also works if you have already chosen a TV or washer that happens to be on the list.
Skip the trip if you want the newest flagship TVs or premium appliances: the tagged range is mid-market, and several TVs are 2025 models. Also skip it if you live far from all three outlets, because the same prices apply online and delivery may cost less than the drive.
Fine print that trips people up
- The campaign page is mixed. On 3 October, the 335 products shown on the sale page included only 45 with the Factory Outlet tag. The rest belonged to Race Day Deals (2 to 4 October), the Menara carpark sale and others, with different end dates.
- Two banners, two date lines. One banner reads 1 to 28 October; a second reads "2 Oct 2026", and its terms block only says "from 2 October 2026". We use 28 October as the end date because that is the only one published.
- Ampang Point is in Selangor. The banner says "Ampang Point, KL", but the store's address is Jalan Mamanda 3, Ampang, Selangor.
- Stock is limited and the terms say images are for illustration only. Harvey Norman can amend the mechanics without notice.
- "Was" prices are Harvey Norman's own. We could not compare them with other retailers, so check a second shop for big-ticket items.
