> Quick view: from 21 to 30 September 2026, every J.CO outlet in Malaysia gives 50% off a second drink when you buy two. The first must be a Due or Tre size and the discounted cup must be an Uno JCoffee, so the saving is half the price of a small coffee. Walk-in only, no seasonal drinks. Three outlets also give 2 free donuts with a selected drink until 31 October, and you can't use both on one purchase.

J.CO Donuts & Coffee Malaysia announced Minggu Kopi on its official Instagram on 14 September and repeated the terms on 17 September. A 21 September post confirmed it is "available at all J.CO outlets" and that the discounted drink is coffee-based. It is a straightforward two-cup deal, but the terms decide which cup is cheaper, and that changes what you actually save.

How Minggu Kopi works, step by step

  1. Walk in to any J.CO outlet between 21 and 30 September 2026. The first term says the promo is "available only for walk-in", so ordering through GrabFood or foodpanda won't get it.
  2. Order the first drink in Due or Tre size. J.CO sells drinks in three sizes: Uno (small), Due (medium) and Tre (large). The full-price drink has to be one of the two bigger sizes.
  3. Order the second drink as an Uno JCoffee. The half-price cup must be a hot or iced coffee from J.CO's JCoffee range (Americano, Cafe Latte, Jcoccino, Caramel Jcoccino, Hazelnut Latte, Mocha Espresso and so on) in the small Uno size.
  4. Pay for both on one bill. The 50% comes off the Uno coffee.

The terms don't say the first drink has to be coffee, only that it must be Due or Tre. On that reading, a Due Iced Chocolate plus an Uno Iced Latte should qualify. Ask at the counter before paying, because J.CO's fifth term says other conditions apply in store.

Worked examples: what the 50% is worth

J.CO doesn't publish its counter prices online, and its website menu lists drinks without prices. As a yardstick, we checked J.CO MyTOWN's GrabFood menu on 24 September. It lists the Iced Americano at RM10.38, the Iced Cafe Latte at RM13.58, the Iced Jcoccino at RM13.77 and the Iced Hazelnut Latte at RM15.71. Delivery menus are often priced above the counter, so treat these as a ceiling, not the price you'll pay in store.

  • Americano as the second cup. Half of RM10.38 is about RM5.19 off. This is the smallest saving because it is the cheapest coffee.
  • Iced Cafe Latte as the second cup. Half of RM13.58 is about RM6.79 off.
  • Hazelnut Latte or Caramel Jcoccino as the second cup. Half of RM15.71 is about RM7.86 off.

The rule of thumb: since the discount always lands on the small cup, put the more expensive coffee in the Uno slot. If one of you wants a plain Americano and the other wants a Hazelnut Latte, the Hazelnut Latte drinker should take the Uno size and the Americano drinker should size up.

The free 2 donuts deal at three outlets

J.CO posted a separate offer, Jom Lepak J.CO, on 23 September. At J.CO Sutera Mall (Johor Bahru), J.CO Cheras Leisure Mall (Kuala Lumpur) and J.CO AEON Mall Station 18 (Ipoh), you get two free donuts, one Glazzy and one of your choice, when you buy a Due or Tre Hot or Iced Americano, Cafe Latte, Jcoccino, Chocolate, Iced Hazelnut Chocolate or Iced Thai Tea. It runs until 31 October 2026.

Single donuts are RM3.96 each on the same GrabFood menu, so two free ones are worth up to about RM7.92 at that yardstick. Both offers say they can't be combined with other promotions, so at these three outlets you can't stack them on one purchase. For one person buying one drink, the donut deal is the only one that applies. For two people buying two coffees before 30 September, the half-price Uno saves up to about RM7.86, while the donut deal gives about RM7.92 of donuts per qualifying drink. If you want the donuts anyway, ask whether each of you can pay separately for a qualifying drink. The terms don't say either way. After 30 September, only the donut deal is left, and only at these three outlets.

Who it's good for, and who should skip it

Good for: two coffee drinkers visiting together, office runs where one person brings back a pair of coffees, and anyone who already buys a Due or Tre drink and wouldn't mind a small second cup.

Skip it if: you only want one drink, you want two large drinks (the second must be Uno), you prefer tea or chocolate for both cups, or you order through delivery apps. It also doesn't help if you're after J.CO's new local-flavour drinks. The Iced Cafe Santan Latte and Iced Spanish Santan Latte launched on 10 September alongside the Donut Pelita, and the third term excludes seasonal beverages.

Fine print that trips people up

  • Walk-in only. Delivery and app orders don't qualify.
  • The small cup gets the discount. It's half an Uno coffee, not half of whichever drink costs more.
  • No seasonal drinks. Ask staff which drinks currently count as seasonal.
  • No stacking. Not with the Jom Lepak donuts or any other J.CO promotion.
  • Terms can change. J.CO reserves the right to amend the terms, so check in store before you order.
