> Quick view: PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort's Great Langkawi Escape bundles breakfast, a daily lunch or dinner for two, a nightly drink each and a spa session into one rate. The Deluxe Room sold at RM960 a night on both dates we tested, which is less than the resort's non-member breakfast-only rate in October. You must book by 30 September 2026 and stay at least four nights, but the stay itself can be as late as 31 May 2027.

PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort sits on Pantai Tengah, the quieter beach just south of Pantai Cenang on the island's west coast. The offer terms below come from the resort's own offer page on panpacific.com, and every price comes from the Pan Pacific booking engine, which we ran on 15 September 2026 for a 2-adult stay.

What the package includes

  • Daily buffet breakfast for two at CASSIA Restaurant
  • A daily three-course lunch or dinner for two adults at CASSIA (this is the "half-board" part)
  • Complimentary in-room minibar, replenished every third night
  • One drink per person each evening, chosen from cocktails, beer, wine or soft drinks
  • 15% off beverages at all dining venues, excluding room service
  • One 30-minute SUASANA Spa treatment for two persons per stay
  • Return airport transfers, but only for guests in suites and villas

How to book it, step by step

  1. Book before 30 September 2026 ends. The booking window opened on 10 June. After 30 September the rate disappears even for stays that are months away.
  2. Pick dates for four consecutive nights or more, anywhere between now and 31 May 2027.
  3. Search PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort on panpacific.com and choose a room. The package sits under the "Room with Inclusion" tab, labelled "The Great Langkawi Escape, Special Offer".
  4. Check the price per night. The engine quotes per night, including taxes. Multiply by your number of nights.

What we were quoted

For 11 to 15 October 2026 (Sunday to Thursday, four nights), the Escape rate per night was:

  • Deluxe Room (41 sqm, city view): RM960
  • Deluxe Ocean View Room (46 to 49 sqm): RM1,187.50
  • Deluxe Ocean View Suite (93 sqm): RM1,865
  • One Bedroom Ocean View Villa (243 sqm): RM2,435

For 4 to 8 December 2026 (Friday to Tuesday, so including a weekend), the Deluxe Room was RM960 again. The package price did not move between an off-peak weekday stay and a December weekend, while the resort's other rates did.

How it compares with the resort's other rates

Same Deluxe Room, same 11 to 15 October dates:

  • Timeless Staycation (breakfast, minibar, RM50 daily food and drink credit, free breakfast for children 11 and under): RM895 for Pan Pacific DISCOVERY members, RM1,116.25 for everyone else
  • Flexible Rate with Breakfast: RM1,263.75 member, RM1,485 regular

For 4 to 8 December, Timeless Staycation was not offered. The cheapest plan was Book Early & Save (same inclusions as Timeless Staycation) at RM865 member or RM910 regular, and Flexible Rate with Breakfast was RM1,285 or RM1,510.

The Escape showed only one price, with no separate member rate.

Worked examples for four nights in a Deluxe Room

October, not a DISCOVERY member. Escape: 4 x RM960 = RM3,840. Timeless Staycation: 4 x RM1,116.25 = RM4,465. The Escape is RM625 cheaper and adds four lunches or dinners for two, the nightly drinks and the spa session. The Staycation's RM50 daily credit (RM200 over the stay) does not close that gap.

October, signed up to DISCOVERY. Timeless Staycation at the member rate: 4 x RM895 = RM3,580. The Escape costs RM260 more. For that you get four three-course meals for two instead of RM200 of credit, plus drinks and spa. If you would eat even two dinners at the resort, the Escape usually comes out ahead.

December weekend, member. Book Early & Save: 4 x RM865 = RM3,460. The Escape is RM380 more for the same trade.

Against the flexible rate. In October, Flexible Rate with Breakfast at the regular price is RM5,940 for four nights. The Escape saves RM2,100 and comes with more.

On top of any of these, add the Langkawi Tourism Promotion Fee of RM10 per room per night (RM40 for four nights), which the resort collects at check-out from every guest. Non-Malaysians also pay the Tourism Tax of RM10 per room per night.

Which rooms the Escape is actually sold on

Not every room type carries the package, and the resort's cheapest room is not one of them. We opened all 14 room types on the booking engine for 11 to 15 October 2026, 2 adults, on 16 September 2026. The Escape appeared under the "Room with Inclusion" tab on the Deluxe Room, Deluxe Ocean View Room, Deluxe Ocean View Suite and One Bedroom Ocean View Villa only. On these it did not appear at all:

  • Superior Room (33 to 38 sqm, city or atrium view), the resort's cheapest room: only Timeless Staycation at RM835 member or RM1,041.25 regular, and Flexible Rate with Breakfast at RM1,178.75 or RM1,385
  • Premier Ocean View Room (69 sqm): Timeless Staycation RM1,300 member, Timeless Love By The Sea RM1,515 member (which includes one candlelight dinner for two), Flexible Rate with Breakfast RM1,837.50 member
  • Family Superior Suite (67 sqm, up to 4 guests): The Club Privilege RM1,830 member, Timeless Staycation RM1,690 member, Flexible Rate with Breakfast RM2,390 member

Two things follow. First, RM960 is the entry price for the Escape, not RM835: you cannot take the package in the cheapest room. Second, the family room types do not offer it, which matches the terms describing the half-board meal as two adults. A family of four booking the Family Superior Suite is choosing between rate plans that have no Escape option at all.

We also re-ran the Deluxe Room on 16 September and every figure below held: Escape RM960, Timeless Staycation RM895 member and RM1,116.25 regular, Flexible Rate with Breakfast RM1,263.75 and RM1,485. No Advance Purchase rate was offered for these dates, despite one appearing in the resort's general offers list.

Who it suits, and who should skip it

Good for couples or two friends planning a slow four-night-plus stay, anyone who expects to eat at the resort most days, and people booking an off-peak trip well ahead. The long stay window means you can lock in a date as far out as May 2027 now.

Think twice if you are travelling with children. The half-board meal is written for two adults, and the Escape does not mention children's breakfast. Timeless Staycation and Book Early & Save both state free breakfast for children aged 11 and under, which may work out cheaper for a family.

Skip it if you only have two or three nights, or if you plan to eat out along Pantai Cenang every evening. Then the member breakfast rates are the better buy.

Fine print that trips people up

  • Booking deadline 30 September 2026, not a stay deadline. Book the dates now, travel later.
  • Four consecutive nights minimum. Three nights plus one does not count.
  • Changes and cancellations are allowed up to 10 days before arrival. Inside 10 days, check your confirmation for what is charged.
  • Cannot be combined with other promotions, privileges or discounts, and unused benefits have no cash value. Skip a lunch and it is gone.
  • Blackout dates apply. If your dates return no Escape rate, try moving the stay rather than adding nights.
  • Airport transfers are for suites and villas only. Deluxe Room guests arrange their own.
  • The spa treatment is once per stay, not once per night.
  • The Superior Room and the family suites do not carry the Escape. The Deluxe Room at RM960 is the cheapest way into it.

Getting there cheaper

If you are driving north and taking the vehicle ferry, LADA's Cashback Mai Langkawi campaign refunds part of the RoRo passenger fare for Malaysians with a stay of two nights or more, until 31 October 2026. A four-night Escape booking clears that minimum.

The offer is listed on PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort's offer page.
