> Quick view: PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort's Great Langkawi Escape still sells until 30 November 2026, for stays up to 31 May 2027, but it now costs more. We re-ran the resort's booking engine on 30 October 2026. The Deluxe Room is RM1,160 a night for mid-November and March 2027, up from RM960 on 3 October, and RM1,162.50 in late November. Early December (4 to 8 December) and Christmas week no longer show an Escape rate.
PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort is on Pantai Tengah, the quieter beach just south of Pantai Cenang on Langkawi's west coast. The terms below come from the resort's own offer page on panpacific.com, re-read on 30 October 2026. Every price comes from the Pan Pacific booking engine for a 2-adult stay and includes taxes.
What changed on 30 October
- The price went up by RM200 a night. The Deluxe Room Escape was RM960 on 3 October for October, early December and March dates. On 30 October it was RM1,160 for 15 to 19 November and 14 to 18 March 2027, and RM1,162.50 for 22 to 26 November.
- Early December is now blacked out. 4 to 8 December showed only Book Early & Save and the flexible rate. On 3 October the same dates priced the Escape at RM960.
- Terms unchanged. The offer page still says bookings made between 10 June and 30 November 2026, stays from 15 June 2026 to 31 May 2027, minimum four consecutive nights. No further extension has been posted.
- Deluxe Rooms are filling up in January. For 10 to 14 January 2027 the Deluxe Room was not offered at all. The next room up, the Deluxe Ocean View Room, priced the Escape at RM1,410 a night.
What the package includes
- Daily buffet breakfast for two at CASSIA Restaurant
- A daily three-course lunch or dinner for two adults at CASSIA (the "half-board" part)
- Complimentary in-room minibar, replenished every third night
- One drink per person each evening: cocktail, beer, wine or soft drink
- 15% off beverages at all dining venues, excluding room service
- One 30-minute SUASANA Spa treatment for two persons per stay
- Return airport transfers, for suite and villa guests only
How to book it
- Book by 30 November 2026. After that the rate disappears, even for stays months away.
- Pick four consecutive nights or more between now and 31 May 2027. Avoid the Christmas to New Year peak, which is blacked out.
- Search PARKROYAL Langkawi Resort on panpacific.com, choose the Deluxe Room or higher, and open the "Room with Inclusion" tab. The plan is labelled "The Great Langkawi Escape, Special Offer".
- Read the nightly price. The engine quotes per night including taxes; multiply by your nights. The Escape shows one price only, with no separate DISCOVERY member rate. If the Escape is missing for your dates, the dates are blacked out or the room type is full.
What a Deluxe Room costs on each date we checked
Per night, 2 adults, including taxes, checked 30 October 2026:
- 15 to 19 November (Sun to Thu): Escape RM1,160. Timeless Staycation RM865 member, RM1,007.50 regular. Flexible Rate with Breakfast RM1,221.25 member, RM1,435 regular.
- 22 to 26 November (Sun to Thu): Escape RM1,162.50. Timeless Staycation RM897.50 member, RM1,045 regular. Flexible rate RM1,266.25 or RM1,487.50.
- 4 to 8 December (Fri to Tue): no Escape. Book Early & Save RM1,078.75 member, RM1,160 regular. Flexible rate RM1,603.75 or RM1,885.
- 10 to 14 January 2027 (Sun to Thu): Deluxe Room not offered. Deluxe Ocean View Room: Escape RM1,410, Book Early & Save RM1,363.75 member, RM1,485 regular.
- 14 to 18 March 2027 (Sun to Thu): Escape RM1,160. Book Early & Save RM979 member, RM1,010 regular. Flexible rate RM1,455 or RM1,710.
On 3 October the same Deluxe Room Escape was RM960 for 18 to 22 October, 4 to 8 December and 14 to 18 March, and RM962.50 for 22 to 26 November; 20 to 24 December already showed no Escape.
Timeless Staycation and Book Early & Save carry the same inclusions: breakfast, minibar, a RM50 daily food and drink credit and free breakfast for children aged 11 and under. The resort shows one or the other depending on the dates.
Worked examples: four nights in a Deluxe Room
Mid-November, not a DISCOVERY member. Escape 4 x RM1,160 = RM4,640. Timeless Staycation 4 x RM1,007.50 = RM4,030. The Escape costs RM610 more. That works out to about RM150 a day for a three-course lunch or dinner for two, two drinks and a share of the spa session, minus the RM50 daily credit you give up. Fair value if you would eat at the resort anyway.
Mid-November, DISCOVERY member. Timeless Staycation 4 x RM865 = RM3,460. The Escape costs RM1,180 more, close to RM300 a day. Unless you plan every main meal at CASSIA, the member breakfast rate plus meals outside is cheaper.
March 2027, not a member. Book Early & Save 4 x RM1,010 = RM4,040 against Escape RM4,640, so RM600 more. Members pay 4 x RM979 = RM3,916, RM724 less than the Escape. On 3 October the Escape was RM76 cheaper than even the member rate for these dates; that advantage is gone.
On top of all of these, add the Langkawi Tourism Promotion Fee of RM10 per room per night (RM40 for four nights), collected at check-out. Non-Malaysians also pay the Tourism Tax of RM10 per room per night.
Which rooms carry the Escape
When we opened all 14 room types for 11 to 15 October in September, the Escape appeared only on the Deluxe Room, Deluxe Ocean View Room, Deluxe Ocean View Suite and One Bedroom Ocean View Villa. These four sleep two. It was missing from:
- Superior Room (33 to 38 sqm), the cheapest room. Re-checked on 3 October and still missing.
- Premier Ocean View Room (69 sqm), which has Timeless Love By The Sea, with one candlelight dinner for two, instead.
- Family Superior Suite (67 sqm, up to 4) and Family Deluxe Suite (82 sqm, up to 6).
So RM1,160 is now the entry price (30 October check). The Superior Room never carries the Escape. Families booking a family suite cannot take the Escape at all.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
Good for couples or two friends planning four nights or more in mid-to-late November, January or the March to May 2027 shoulder months, who expect to eat lunch or dinner at the resort most days. At RM1,160 the package only pays off when you use the daily meal.
Think twice with children. The half-board meal is written for two adults and the Escape says nothing about children's breakfast. Timeless Staycation and Book Early & Save include free breakfast for children 11 and under.
Skip it if you only have two or three nights, want early December or Christmas week, are a DISCOVERY member who eats out, or plan to eat along Pantai Cenang every evening. A member breakfast rate is the better buy then.
Fine print that trips people up
- The 30 November deadline is for booking, not staying. Lock dates now, travel any time to 31 May 2027.
- Four consecutive nights minimum. Three nights plus one does not count.
- Changes and cancellations are allowed up to 10 days before arrival.
- Cannot be combined with other promotions, privileges or discounts. Unused benefits have no cash value, so a skipped lunch is gone.
- Blackout dates apply. 4 to 8 December and 20 to 24 December returned no Escape rate. If your dates show none, shift the stay rather than add nights.
- The resort can amend or withdraw the offer without notice, so check the plan still loads before you plan around it.
- Airport transfers are for suites and villas only. The spa treatment is once per stay, not per night.
Getting there cheaper
LADA's Cashback Mai Langkawi campaign, which refunded half a RoRo passenger fare for Malaysians staying two nights or more, ends on 31 October 2026 and had no extension posted on 30 October. Any Escape stay from November onwards pays the full ferry fare, so budget for it.
