> Quick view: Starbucks Malaysia is still not running a RM25 "Grande drink + meal" lunch set in September 2026 — the last official run of that format ended on 31 January 2025. Checked on the brand's own Facebook page on 9 September 2026, the biggest thing on the calendar right now is a Starbucks Rewards Members Day Buy 1 Free 1 on Thursday 11 September, and unusually, it carries no outlet exclusions at all.

The short answer on the RM25 lunch set

There is no RM25 lunch set at Starbucks Malaysia in September 2026.

It was a real format. Starbucks Malaysia's own Facebook announcement, dated 7 January 2025, offered RM25 for one of three Deli Style sandwiches — Braised Beef, BBQ Chicken or Mushroom Melt — plus any Grande-sized handcrafted beverage, daily from 12pm to 3pm. Upsizing the drink cost RM1.50, and Genting Highlands, Berjaya Hills and airport stores were excluded. That same post says the promotion ended on 31 January 2025. Nothing since has replaced it.

Why this deal keeps reappearing in search results

Two things keep the ghost alive, and both are worth understanding before you trust any Starbucks listing.

Starbucks Malaysia renames the same mechanics every month. The Monday Buy-1-Free-1 is the clearest case: aggregators called it "Monday Coffee Rush" in the first half of 2026, the August artwork called it "Begin Again Monday", and the September artwork calls it "Pick-Me-Ups With Your Fave +1". The offer never changed — Buy 1 Free 1 on handcrafted beverages, Mondays, 12pm–5pm. Search the mechanic, not the campaign name, or you will keep finding nothing.

Deal trackers recycle dead formats forward. The RM25 lunch listings circulating for 2026 attach details that appear in no Starbucks Malaysia posting we can find — an RM5 Reserve upgrade, an exclusion narrowed to KLIA and KLIA2. Treat those specifics as unverified.

It is also worth knowing that starbucks.com.my is behind a Cloudflare check and has been unreachable to us on every attempt since August 2026, including a re-test on 9 September. The brand's Facebook page is where the current offers and their full terms actually surface.

What is running instead — verified 9 September 2026

1. Members Day Buy 1 Free 1 — Thursday 11 September (the pick of the month)

Starbucks Malaysia posted this on 9 September. Pay in full with the Starbucks Mobile App or a registered Starbucks Card on 11 September 2026 and you get a Buy 1 Free 1 reward. The published terms are unusually specific:

  • Full payment must be made with a Starbucks Card or the Starbucks Mobile App.
  • Applies to any Grande-sized handcrafted beverage, except Starbucks | Molly beverages, while stocks last.
  • The discount is given at the counter — it is not applied automatically in the app.
  • The complimentary beverage is the lower-priced of the two, and must be redeemed on the same receipt.
  • Any modifier or add-on is charged separately.
  • In-store purchase only.
  • Valid at all Starbucks stores in Malaysia.

That last line is the detail most readers will miss. Almost every Starbucks Malaysia weekday promotion excludes Genting Highlands, Berjaya Hills and airport outlets. Members Day does not. If you are at Genting or waiting at a terminal on 11 September, this is the one offer of the month you can actually use there.

2. RM80 card reload — free Grande now, 2 Grande for RM16.90 later (until 30 September)

Reload or activate a Starbucks Card with RM80 and you get a free Grande handcrafted beverage, plus a reward for 2 Grande beverages at RM16.90 on a later purchase. It runs until 30 September 2026.

The RM16.90 line is the single most useful number in this article, because Starbucks Malaysia publishes no price list anywhere we can reach. It works out to RM8.45 per Grande — a reasonable benchmark for judging whether any other "deal" you are shown is actually a discount.

3. The 9.9 offers — online only, no published end date

Starbucks Malaysia posted a 9.9 carousel on 8 September 2026 with three e-commerce offers:

  • "One for you, and one for your kawan" — buy an RM1 e-voucher on Lazada or Shopee, then purchase any handcrafted beverage and claim a second beverage for RM1.
  • A Starbucks virtual card for RM18, loaded with RM20 — an RM2 gain, on Lazada.
  • Merchandise plus limited-time and free-shipping vouchers via Lazada, Shopee and TikTok.

Be careful with these. The artwork carries no dates and no terms — not even a "T&Cs apply" line on the beverage voucher — and we could not find the RM1 voucher listed on Lazada Malaysia's search on 9 September. Check the voucher's own validity window on the platform before you buy it, because an RM1 voucher that expires before you use it is still RM1 wasted.

4. The weekday ladder

The Monday-to-Thursday grid — Buy 1 Free 1 Mondays, RM5 off with a tumbler on Tuesdays, RM9.90 Wednesdays and RM10 green Thursdays — is a separate campaign that runs through 30 September. We cover it in full, with the times and exclusions, in the linked article below.

So what is the closest thing to a RM25 lunch today?

There is no drink-plus-food bundle. If what you actually want is two drinks for around RM25 or less, here is the honest arithmetic:

  • Members Day Buy 1 Free 1, 11 September — you pay the price of one Grande for two, so roughly half each. Catch: one day only, and you must pay in full by app or registered card.
  • RM80 card reload reward — RM16.90 for two Grande, or RM8.45 a drink, the cheapest per-cup rate here. Catch: you have to park RM80 on a card first.
  • RM1 e-voucher (9.9) — one Grande plus RM1 for the second, so roughly half each. Catch: you buy the voucher online first, and no validity dates are published.
  • Monday Buy 1 Free 1 — price of one Grande for two, roughly half each. Catch: Mondays 12pm–5pm only, and it excludes Genting Highlands, Berjaya Hills and airport stores.

Best move: if you are already a Starbucks Rewards member with the app, go on Thursday 11 September and bring someone. It costs nothing up front, it is the only offer this month that works at every store in the country, and it does not require you to pre-load RM80.

Who should skip all of this

  • You order on Grab, foodpanda or the app for pickup. Every in-store offer here — Members Day included — is explicitly in-store only.
  • You want a discount stacked on a seasonal drink. Promotional and seasonal beverages are routinely excluded, and none of these offers combine with another discount.
  • You are not a Rewards member and do not want the app. Members Day and the reload reward both require a registered card or the app; only the online voucher route does not.

Fine print worth repeating

  • These offers do not stack with each other or with any other discount.
  • Modifiers and add-ons — extra shot, alternative milk, syrup — are charged separately in every case.
  • The weekday offers exclude Genting Highlands, Berjaya Hills and airport stores, with Subang Skypark named as an exception that does take part. Members Day is the exception to the exception and applies everywhere.
  • Starbucks Malaysia reserves the right to change or cancel any promotion without notice.
