> Status, re-checked 22 October 2026: the up-to-80%-off-second-item deal is still over. It ended on 23 September 2026, and on 22 October the "2nd @ 80%" tag was on none of the 1,049 own-brand Watsons Collection products on Watsons Malaysia's online store. The own-brand range is far from full price, though. Watsons switched to its November promotion cycle on 22 October, and below is what it carries, read off each product's own promotion tag.
What's on Watsons Collection now (22 October 2026)
We read Watsons Malaysia's product data directly rather than the banners, because each item carries its own tag and its own end date. Here is the own-brand range by mechanic:
- Buy 1 Free 1 on 128 items, to 25 November 2026. This is Watsons' Deepavali campaign, *Celebrate Iniya Moments*, which the promotions page dates 22 October to 25 November. Examples are the Round Facial Cotton Puff 100's and Side Sealed Facial Cotton Puff 100's (RM6.50 each), the Soft Facial Cleansing Towel 80s (RM16.50 or RM19.90 depending on the listing), Paper Shafts Cotton Buds 300s (RM6.90) and the Bamboo Velvet travel tissue 4-pack (RM6.50).
- Buy 1 Free 1 on 37 more items that end sooner, on 26 October. These include Hair Cream Colourant 01 Black (RM35.90) and Watsons Baby Wipes Unscented 20s x 3 (RM6.50). Four more tags ended on 22 October itself.
- "2 for RMxx" bundles on 69 items, to 25 November. For example, 1L cream body washes (Cherry Blossom, Goat Milk, Pomegranate) are RM12.50 each or 2 for RM16. CC Treatment shampoo 400ml is RM13.90 or 2 for RM20. 500ml hand wash refills are RM5.20 or 2 for RM7.
- Buy 2 Free 1 on 20 items. Twelve, mostly the RM6.20 500ml cream and gel hand washes, run to 25 November. Eight, including the RM6.90 Taste of Malaysia serum masks (Nasi Lemak, Teh Tarik, Cendol), end on 1 November.
- Straight markdowns on 702 items, no pairing needed. Two in three own-brand products now sell below their regular price. The most common cut is 20–30%, and 35 items are 50% off or more. The Watsons Flexible Oral Thermometer is still RM17.94 (RM29.90), the same as in September. Seven single Essence and Jelly sheet masks are RM3 each (RM7.90). Invigorating Wet Wipes 10s x 3 are RM3.85 (RM5.50), and Triple Clean Fluoride Toothpaste 110g is RM4.83 (RM6.90). Watsons publishes no end date for markdowns, so the price on the day is what counts.
The worked maths: which deal is actually cheapest
Buy 1 Free 1 is 50% off only if you would use both. Compare it with the multi-packs, which are marked down with no tag:
- Cotton puffs: Buy 1 Free 1 on the 100's makes two packs RM6.50, or RM3.25 a pack. The 6-pack is marked down from RM39 to RM20, or RM3.33 a pack. The Buy 1 Free 1 is slightly cheaper and you only commit to two.
- Cleansing towels: Buy 1 Free 1 on the RM16.50 listing is RM8.25 a pack. The 3-pack is RM25 (from RM49.50), or RM8.33 a pack. It is almost a tie, so buy whichever quantity you need.
- Hair colourant: RM35.90 for two boxes is RM17.95 a box, the same as September's 50% markdown. The difference is that you now have to buy two by 26 October.
- Hand wash: Buy 2 Free 1 on the RM6.20 bottles makes three RM12.40, or RM4.13 each. The 500ml refill at 2 for RM7 is RM3.50 each, so refilling is the cheaper route if you already have a pump bottle.
Under the old deal, two RM29.90 thermometers cost RM35.88 (the second at 80% off). Today, one is RM17.94 and two are RM35.88, with no pairing needed.
Online codes and coupons this week
These are extra and online-only:
- 10RAKSASA10: RM10 off a minimum spend of RM100, and 10RAKSASA50: RM50 off RM250. Both are for Watsons' *Raksasa Biggest Online Sale*, 22 to 24 October 2026.
- Oct Treats coupons, claimed from the Coupon Zone on the promotions page: RM15 off RM150 and RM40 off RM300, to 29 October.
Read the exclusions before you build a basket around a code. Watsons' Promotion T&Cs say promotion codes and eCoupons exclude Buy 1 Free 1 items and anything already 50% off or more. A RM250 basket of Buy 1 Free 1 cotton puffs will not unlock the RM50. The code is best used on markdown items under 50% off, or on branded products.
The rebate tags are basket thresholds, not per-item discounts
Some own-brand products also carry an Instant Rebate tag. RM8 off "Watsons & Nutrabliss" sits on 80 items (including the thermometer and Nutrabliss chia seeds) from 20 to 26 October. RM5 off travel sits on 25 travel-size items to 31 October. A member-only RM10 off K-beauty rebate covers 19 Watsons K-beauty serums and creams to 25 November. Watsons' T&Cs (clause 7) say instant-off promotions trigger only when the eligible items in your bag reach the promotion's minimum spend, and the product data does not state that minimum. Treat these as a bonus you see at checkout, not as a price.
Who should shop now, and who should wait
Shop now if you restock own-brand consumables such as cotton, tissue, wipes, body wash and hand wash. The Buy 1 Free 1 and 2-for prices run to 25 November, so there is no rush on those. The exceptions are the hair colourant and baby wipes, which end on 26 October, and the codes, which end on 24 and 29 October.
Wait if you only need one of something on Buy 1 Free 1. A free item you never use saves nothing, and the 702 straight markdowns often give a decent single-item price. Branded names such as CeraVe or Dove are not Watsons Collection, so these multi-buys do not apply to them. Our Unilever round-up below covers that shelf.
Fine print
- Every mechanic applies to selected items only. Check the shelf tag or the product page.
- Dates are each item's own promotion window on 22 October 2026. The same mechanic carries different end dates on different items (Buy 1 Free 1 ends on 22 October, 26 October or 25 November), so the date on your item is the one that applies.
- Buy 1 Free 1, Buy 2 Free 1 and 2-for bundles do not need a Watsons Card. Tags titled "Member" do.
- Free delivery on the online store starts at RM100 in West Malaysia. Click & Collect Express lets you collect at a store in about an hour without a delivery fee.
- While stocks last. Watsons can change or end any promotion without notice.
What the old deal was, for the record
From late July to 23 September 2026, selected Watsons Collection products carried "2nd @ 80%": pay full price for one and get 80% off a second, usually of the same product. It started as the "Jualan Mega / Mega Sale" campaign. That name was retired at the end of August, but the tag ran three more weeks. Since then the own-brand range has moved to straight markdowns and multi-buys, and no "2nd @" tag of any size is on it today.
