8 Theme Parks and Water Parks in KL, Selangor and Putrajaya 2026: MyKad Prices, and the Day Each One Shuts
We priced a family of four at every theme park and water park in the Klang Valley that publishes a rate, on each operator's own site on 12 September 2026. The same two adults and two children cost RM140 at Bangi Wonderland's online rate and RM676 at Sunway Lagoon, a difference of almost five times. Sunway Lagoon and Bangi Wonderland both close on Tuesdays unless it is a school or public holiday, District 21 stops selling tickets two and a half hours before it shuts, and SplashMania is the only park here that charges Malaysians and foreigners the same price.
LEGOLAND Malaysia Water Park: RM88 for Every Malaysian, Any Age, Until 30 November
LEGOLAND Malaysia Water Park is selling a Malaysians-only day ticket at a flat RM88 for everyone aged three and above, against a standard Malaysian price of RM149 for an adult and RM129 for a child or senior. It is online only, it is a dated ticket, and the visit date has to fall on or before 30 November 2026. Two things decide whether it is the right buy: the Water Park closes every Tuesday, and LEGOLAND's own annual pass covering all three parks for a year is RM266, which is two ringgit more than three of these tickets.
Nights of Fright 12 at Sunway Lagoon, 25 Sept to 7 Nov 2026: RM138 a Ticket, and Four Nights Are Already Gone
Sunway Lagoon's Nights of Fright is back for a 12th year, themed The Apeocalypse, running every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night from 25 September to 7 November 2026. Admission is RM138 all in, and the checkout forces a second line at RM0.00: one 50g bag of Sunway Theme Parks Kedai Runcit potato crisps per ticket, redeemed not in the park but at Sunway Pyramid. The Xpress Pass costs RM98 on top, a 71 percent uplift, and buys 30 minutes of early entry plus express lanes. We went back through the checkout on 10 September 2026 and four of the twenty nights can no longer be bought at all: opening night on Friday 25 September, then Friday 2 October, Sunday 1 November and Friday 6 November. Sunway's own colour-coded calendar still shows three of those four as freely available, because it is a JPEG that has not been re-uploaded since 24 August. What it teaches about which nights go first is backwards: every Saturday it flagged as selling fast is still on sale, while three of the seven Fridays have gone. The Xpress Pass runs out ahead of the ticket, and is already unavailable for Saturday 3 October even though admission that night is not. Separately, the park's roller coaster is still shut, and not for an upgrade: it stopped abruptly on 22 August, ten of the twenty-two riders were injured, and Selangor's police chief said on 7 September that the investigation will take three to four months.

A'Famosa Resort's MATTA Fair 2026 pricing has ended. Re-read on 30 September on the resort's own ticketing checkout and booking engine, the RM89 two-park ticket is gone. Park tickets are now priced by age (Safari Wonderland RM65 adult / RM59 child, senior or OKU; Water World RM49 / RM39), one RM319 annual pass replaces the RM289/RM239 pair, and the MATTA room plans have given way to Gemilang Gateaway, from RM189 for the Condo Family Studio to RM699 for the fenced-pool villa, 40 to 54 percent under the resort's own public rate. Merdeka Sale 2026 Is Over: What Outlived It — LEGOLAND's RM88 Water Park to 30 November, Pizza Hut's Rasa Malaysia Still Selling
The Merdeka sale season is over. Merdeka Day was 31 August, Malaysia Day 16 September, and the last Merdeka-badged offer on this page, Setel's RM6.90 grocery cashback, ended on 30 September.
