Search "aircon service near me" anywhere in Klang Valley and you'll get dozens of near-identical landing pages, most quoting similar per-unit pricing and same-day promises, and it's genuinely hard to tell how many actual technicians sit behind them. Layered on top of that are longer-running registered companies, brand-authorised dealers, and small one-man Facebook-page operators who've been working the same neighbourhood for years. All of them are legitimate ways to get a unit serviced — the trick is knowing which kind of provider you're calling, and what that means for price, warranty cover, and how fast someone actually shows up.
