> Quick view: Four Seasons Resort Langkawi has four offers running into December 2026. We priced each one on the resort's own booking engine on 4 October 2026. For two nights in a Garden View pavilion (10 to 12 November), Bed and Breakfast and Experience More were both RM3,000 a night, so Experience More's USD 100 credit costs nothing extra. Advance Purchase was RM2,700, and Journey into Nature was RM3,200. For five nights in a Three-Bedroom Family Garden Villa, Fifth Night Free came to RM68,400, against RM85,700 on Bed and Breakfast.

The four offers, side by side
Four Seasons Resort Langkawi sits on Tanjung Rhu beach in the north of the island, inside the Langkawi UNESCO Global Geopark. Its offers page lists six rates. Two of them (Bed and Breakfast and Malaysia Twin Stay) are a base rate and a combined KL booking. The four below are the ones that change what you pay or what you get.
- Villa Experience, Fifth Night Free. Selected dates from 4 October to 11 December 2026, minimum five nights. Every four consecutive paid nights earn a free fifth night, with daily buffet breakfast for up to two adults. It applies only to the Imperial Villa, the Three-Bedroom Family Garden Villa with Pool and the Premier Two-Bedroom Beach Villa with Pool.
- Experience More, Spending Credit. Selected dates from 3 October to 11 December 2026, minimum two nights. You get USD 100 per stay in a pavilion or USD 150 per stay in a villa, to spend on selected on-property charges.
- Journey into Nature. Selected dates from 3 October to 11 December 2026, two to four nights. It includes daily breakfast for two, a three-hour mangrove tour for two with a Four Seasons naturalist once per stay, and one sunset cocktail or mocktail each at Rhu Bar on your first evening.
- Advance Purchase, Up to 20% Off. Selected dates from 3 October 2026 to 31 December 2027. You must book at least 7 days ahead, and the stay comes with daily breakfast. Payment is full and non-refundable at booking, and no changes are allowed.
What we were quoted (4 October 2026)
Two adults, Garden View Ground Floor pavilion, 10 to 12 November (Tuesday and Wednesday):
- Advance Purchase: RM2,700 a night
- Bed and Breakfast: RM3,000 a night
- Experience More: RM3,000 a night, plus the USD 100 credit
- Journey into Nature: RM3,200 a night
On the summary page, the Experience More booking came to RM6,000 in room charges plus RM20 Langkawi Tourism Promotion Fee and RM20 Malaysia Tourism Tax, for RM6,040. No SST or service charge line appeared, because Langkawi is a duty-free island. The Tourism Tax applies to foreign guests only, so a Malaysian guest's bill for the same stay should be RM6,020. The engine converted RM6,040 to USD 1,478.63, which puts the USD 100 credit at about RM408.
Two adults, Three-Bedroom Family Garden Villa with Pool, 10 to 15 November (five nights):
- Fifth Night Free: RM13,680 average a night, or RM68,400 in total
- Advance Purchase: RM15,420 a night, or RM77,100
- Bed and Breakfast: RM17,140 a night, or RM85,700
- Experience More: RM17,140 a night, plus USD 150
The Beach Villa with Pool did not appear for the five-night search, so check your own dates early if you want one.
Which offer to pick
Experience More beats plain Bed and Breakfast. On every room we checked, the two cost exactly the same. If you were going to book breakfast anyway, choose Experience More and take the credit. The terms rule out the room rate, retail, taxes and third-party services. That leaves dining, spa and resort activities.
Advance Purchase is only worth it if your dates are fixed. On our pavilion dates it saved RM300 a night (10%, not the headline 20%). That is RM600 on two nights, but you pay everything upfront with no refunds, no date changes and no money back for an early departure. The flexible rates showed free cancellation until 27 October for a 10 November arrival.
Journey into Nature costs RM400 more on a two-night stay. That buys a naturalist-led tour of the mangroves for two plus two sunset drinks. Our Langkawi boat tour price guide found guided sharing mangrove cruises from RM140 a person elsewhere on the island. So you pay more than the cheapest outside option, in exchange for staying in the resort's own programme. Seats depend on availability, and both guests must register for the same slot at check-in.
Fifth Night Free is the strongest of the four if you are booking a villa anyway. On our five-night villa search it was RM17,300 cheaper than Bed and Breakfast and RM8,700 cheaper than Advance Purchase. It also stayed refundable to the same cancellation deadline. The one case it doesn't fit is a pavilion stay, because pavilions are not on the list.
Worked examples
A couple's two-night weekday break, Malaysians. Garden View pavilion on Experience More: RM6,000 plus RM20 Langkawi fee is RM6,020, with breakfast both mornings and roughly RM408 of credit to spend at the resort. Booking the same dates on Advance Purchase is RM5,420, but you lose the credit and the right to cancel. Even if you ignore the flexibility, the credit is worth more than half of the RM600 saving.
Two families sharing a villa for five nights. The Three-Bedroom Family Garden Villa has two king beds and two twin beds. On Fifth Night Free it costs RM68,400, plus RM50 Langkawi fee. Split between two families, that is RM34,225 each. The villa rates we saw were for two adults, so call the resort to confirm the total for your actual party before committing. Breakfast is included for up to two adults, and free for up to two children aged 4 and under per room. Extra adults pay for their breakfast.
Combining Langkawi with KL. The Malaysia Twin Stay offer (2 October to 31 December 2026) covers a stay with at least two nights at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur followed by at least two at the Langkawi resort. You get a one-way airport transfer in a Toyota Vellfire for each property, or a round trip in Langkawi if you take a villa, plus two welcome drinks at Rhu Bar. It is phone-booking only (+60 4 950 8700), with no online price, and you must confirm transfers at least three days before arrival.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
It suits honeymooners and anniversary trips, multi-generation families who would otherwise book two or three rooms, and anyone who wants a quiet beach rather than Pantai Cenang's bars and traffic.
Skip it if your budget is under about RM3,000 a night. For a cheaper Langkawi break on direct-booking terms, compare PARKROYAL Langkawi's Great Langkawi Escape. For a similar rainforest-luxury level, compare The Datai's resident rate.
The fine print that trips people up
- "Selected dates" means some dates won't qualify. All four offers allow blackout dates. If an offer does not appear for your search, try moving your dates by a day.
- The Fifth Night Free rate is an average. The engine shows the nightly price after spreading the free night across your stay. It only works on consecutive nights, and the free night has to be part of the same stay.
- The spending credit is once per stay. It cannot be cashed out, carried forward or combined with another offer, and unused credit is lost at check-out.
- Renovation notice. The booking engine says selected Beach Villas are being upgraded from 1 May to 15 November 2026, with all facilities and restaurants open as usual.
- Langkawi fee. Every guest pays the RM10 per room per night Langkawi Tourism Promotion Fee, Malaysians included. The council can raise it during special events.
