The mall's 15th Anniversary Sale runs 10-13 September 2026 with storewide savings up to 80%, and four other watch counters on the same High Street stretch — Citizen, City Chain, Fossil and Watch Station International — do have published offers.

What happened to the August sale

The offer this article originally covered was real and it is now finished. G-Shock Casio's outlet store at Johor Premium Outlets ran an August Special Sale from 1 to 31 August 2026, published by the mall in two tiers: 50% savings on selected items and 35% savings on selected items. It lapsed at the end of August.

What did not happen is a September edition. Our August write-up described the store's sales as a near-monthly rhythm — April, May, June and August each had a published sale — and treated that as a reason not to worry about missing one. On the evidence of 10 September, that rhythm is not something to plan a drive around.

We checked five of the mall's own surfaces. G-Shock Casio is on none of them

Johor Premium Outlets publishes its offers in several places that do not always agree, so a single empty page proves very little. On 10 September 2026 we read all of them:

  1. The live deal cards. Thirty cards were published for Johor Premium Outlets. No G-Shock Casio, and no Casio.
  2. The VIP Shopper deals feed. Forty-nine brands carry a standing, free-to-claim VIP deal dated 1 January to 31 December 2026. G-Shock Casio is not one of them.
  3. G-Shock Casio's own store record. The mall's store entry for the shop — Suite 800, High Street, entrance from Car Park D via the centre-court escalator, direct line +607 595 5422 — carries an empty deals list.
  4. The 15th Anniversary Sale line-up. The mall's anniversary page lists brand-by-brand offers for the four-day sale and for the wider month. G-Shock Casio does not appear in it.
  5. The rendered deals page as a shopper actually sees it in a browser, which matched the feed card for card.

For completeness, we also checked the sister centre: Genting Highlands Premium Outlets has no G-Shock Casio store at all among its 135 tenants. Johor Premium Outlets is the only Premium Outlets centre in Malaysia with one, so there is no sibling branch running the sale instead.

Why a missing card means more than an expired one

This mall does not tidy up. On 10 September its deals listing still carried a Universal Traveller Outlet card dated 1-31 August — ten days after it lapsed — and three separate Ecco cards for three different days of the same weekend.

That matters for reading the evidence. If G-Shock Casio's August card had simply been left to rot on the feed, it would still be sitting there. It is not. The card was taken down and nothing was put in its place, at exactly the moment the mall was loading in its biggest campaign of the year.

What is on instead: the 15th Anniversary Sale, 10-13 September

  • Hours on 10 and 13 September: 10am to 10pm
  • Hours on 11 and 12 September: 10am to 12 midnight
  • Daily treats: a complimentary item for the first 75 customers daily at Baskin-Robbins (single king scoop), DÔME Café (chocolate fudge cake), Marrybrown (chicken burger set) and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (iced double chocolate)
  • Contest: Shop More, Win Bigger, 10 to 20 September 2026

The Shop More, Win Bigger contest is worth understanding before you shop, because entry is not automatic. There is no minimum spend and no cap on the number of receipts, but you must present the original, same-day receipt at the Information Center and register it through the VIP Deals section of the Premium Outlets Malaysia mobile app. Reprinted receipts are refused, and a receipt stamped "redeemed" cannot be used again. Spending is pooled across Johor Premium Outlets and Genting Highlands Premium Outlets, and the top 18 spenders across both centres take the prizes: RM30,000 in Premium Outlets gift vouchers for first, a trip to Seoul for two for second, a trip to Shanghai for two for third, and a Sony PlayStation 5 for each of the next 15.

The four watch counters that do have something

All five of these shops sit on High Street, so substituting is a short walk rather than a different trip.

  • Citizen, Suite 410: purchase 1 item and get 1 complimentary item, 1 to 30 September — published on the anniversary line-up
  • City Chain, Suite 412: selected items from RM159, 10 to 13 September on the deal card — but the anniversary line-up says selected items at RM99, 1 to 30 September
  • Fossil, Suite 428: additional 30% with 3 selected items, additional 20% with 2, 10 to 13 September — on the deal card only
  • Watch Station International, Suite 914: additional 30% with 3 selected items, additional 20% with 2, 10 to 13 September — on the anniversary line-up only
  • G-Shock Casio, Suite 800: nothing published, absent from all five surfaces

Three things to note in that table. City Chain's two listings contradict each other on both price and dates — assume the narrower card (from RM159, 10-13 September) and ask at the counter. Fossil is on the deal cards but not the anniversary line-up, and Watch Station International is the reverse, so neither page on its own is a complete list. And Citizen is the only one of the four with a second, standing offer: an additional 10% on selected items through the free VIP Shopper Club, which the mall never says whether you can combine with the anniversary buy-one-get-one.

Who should still make the trip, and who should wait

Go if you want a watch rather than a specific G-Shock reference. Between Citizen's buy-one-get-one, Fossil's and Watch Station's three-item tiers and City Chain's fixed price point, the anniversary weekend is a genuinely good time to buy in this category at this mall.

Call first if you have a G-Shock model in mind. The shop is open and stocked as far as the mall's tenant list is concerned; there is simply no published discount. Ring +607 595 5422 and ask what is on the floor before spending 45 minutes on the road.

Wait if you were counting on the two-tier August pricing repeating. A 50%-off tier is not currently published anywhere at this store, and the mall's own record shows the store went quiet in September rather than reducing its discount.

Fine print

  • Nothing here is a claim that the store has closed. G-Shock Casio remains listed as a trading tenant at Suite 800. What is absent is a published offer, on 10 September 2026
  • "Selected items" is unspecified in every offer in the table above, including the ones that are running. Which watches qualify is decided in-store
  • Expired cards linger on this mall's feed, so check the valid-from and valid-to dates printed on every card you see rather than assuming a listed offer is live
  • The two mall pages disagree on at least City Chain, and each omits brands the other carries. If an offer matters to your trip, confirm it at the Information Center
  • The contest ranks you against Genting Highlands shoppers too, so treat the prize table as a lottery rather than a plan

Getting there

Johor Premium Outlets is at Jalan Premium Outlets, Indahpura, 81000 Kulai, Johor — roughly 45 minutes by car from Johor Bahru city centre and close to Senai Airport. Normal trading is 10am to 10pm daily, extended to midnight on 11 and 12 September 2026. G-Shock Casio is at Suite 800 on High Street, reached from Car Park D by taking the escalator at the centre court; its direct line is +607 595 5422, and the mall's main line is +60 7-661 8888.
