> Quick view: LAC Malaysia still runs two price systems. On ordinary supplements the LAC Club member price is a flat 20% off (25% on Buy 2 Up), and from three units the October storewide Buy 3 @ 38% off usual price (code LAC383) beats it easily. On sports nutrition no storewide code applies, so the member price is the main discount, and it has shrunk on the big Optimum Nutrition tubs since September. We re-read all 301 promotion listings on LAC's own site on 22 October 2026.
What changed since September
The September Buy 3 @ 33% off ended on 30 September 2026. In October LAC raised the storewide mechanic to Buy 3 @ 38% off usual price, code LAC383, and printed no end date for it. The month's product codes, sold as Octodeals ("save up to 50%"), are a different matter: LAC's homepage says "Promo ends 22 October!", so codes such as 10LPR, 10NM45 and NPR10 end today. We cover the October sale itself, including the OCT10 second-item code that ran to 11 October, in a separate article.
This piece answers the longer question underneath: is the LAC Club card worth having, on what, and at what quantity? The short version has changed. In September the card was the clear winner on sports nutrition. On 22 October, for the 5 lb Gold Standard Whey and the Isolate tubs, it is worth much less than it was.
The Malaysian entity behind the stores is LAC Global Brands (M) Sdn. Bhd., company no. 200101009251 (545007-W).
How the two price systems work
Open an ordinary LAC supplement page and you get two member prices plus a code. Open a protein tub and you get one member price. Here is LAC T.A.C-1000 Plus Timed-Release (180 caplets) on 22 October 2026:
- Usual price: RM428.90
- MEMBER (Buy 1, Save 20%): RM343.12
- MEMBER (Buy 2 Up, Save 25%): RM321.68 each, RM643.36 for two, RM965.04 for three
- Buy 3 @ 38% off usual price (LAC383): about RM797.75 for three (RM265.92 each)
The card wins at one or two units. At three, LAC383 is RM167.29 cheaper than the 25% member tier, and going from two tubs to three adds only RM154.39, which is 64% off the third tub. In September the same gap was RM102.95, so the October code is a bigger reason to buy in threes.
Mixing works too. T.A.C-1000 Plus (RM428.90), LAC Activated L.Pro. 80s (RM383.90) and Women's Probiotic Complex 30 Billion (RM294.90) come to RM1,107.70 usual, about RM686.77 with LAC383, against RM886.16 at their single-unit member prices.
The LAC383 terms, word for word
The tooltip on LAC's product pages reads "Based on Usual Price", "Limited to 3 sets per member", "Health supplement only", "Mixed allowed" and excludes "sports supplements, foodstuffs, RTDs, bars, local distributors' products, net price item,s and LAC Minis" (LAC's punctuation). It also says the offer "cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts".
What that means in practice:
- It replaces the member price; it does not stack. The 38% comes off usual price.
- Three sets per member means up to nine items at 38%, and the per-member wording means you should expect to log in to a LAC Club account.
- No printed end date. LAC's storewide codes have run calendar months (the 33% ended 30 September), so assume month-end and check before you order.
For sports nutrition, the member discount just got smaller
We pulled every product in LAC's sports nutrition promotion, 62 SKUs, on 22 October. The median member saving is still 35%, but the bottom of the range fell sharply:
- 40% off: 1 SKU
- 35% to 36% off: 35 SKUs
- 31% to 33% off: 4 SKUs
- 25% to 27% off: 5 SKUs
- 20% off: 1 SKU
- 15% to 18% off: 11 SKUs
- 5% to 10% off: 5 SKUs
On 15 September six sports SKUs gave members under 20%. On 22 October it is 16, and they are the Optimum Nutrition tubs people actually buy in bulk:
- ON Gold Standard 100% Whey 5 lb (seven flavours): RM539.90 usual, RM457.00 member, 15% off. It was RM414.00 (23%) in September, so the member price went up RM43.
- ON Gold Standard 100% Isolate 5.2 lb / 5.02 lb: RM699.90 usual, RM665.00 member, 5% off (was RM611.00, 13%).
- ON Serious Mass 6 lb Chocolate and Vanilla: RM279.90 usual, RM252.00, 10% off (was RM234.00).
- ON Platinum Hydrowhey 1.8 lb: RM349.90 usual, RM320.00, 9% off (was RM291.00).
- ON Platinum Hydrowhey 3.5 lb: RM609.90 usual, RM503.00, 18% off.
- ON Pro Complex Gainer 5.09 lb: RM419.90 usual, RM347.00, 17% off.
The other brands did not move. MuscleTech Nitro-Tech, Isopure, Xtend, Cellucor C4, EC Sports and ON's BCAA, amino and glutamine lines all still sit at 33% to 36%. If your basket is ON whey, the card is worth RM82.90 on a 5 lb tub; if it is MuscleTech, it is worth RM201.56.
Price per pound, 22 October 2026
The member percentage still moves against value, so compare per pound instead:
- MuscleTech Nitro-Tech 100% Whey Gold 5 lb: RM374.34 member, about RM74.87/lb
- MuscleTech Nitro-Tech Ripped 4 lb, Buy 1 Free 1: RM645.90 for two (8 lb), about RM80.74/lb
- ON Gold Standard Whey 5 lb: RM457.00 member, RM91.40/lb
- MuscleTech Nitro-Tech Whey Protein 4 lb: RM402.94 member, RM100.74/lb
- Isopure Zero Carb 3 lb: RM337.94 member, RM112.65/lb
- ON Gold Standard Whey 2 lb: RM233.00 member (27% off), RM116.50/lb
- ON Platinum Hydrowhey 3.5 lb: RM503.00 member, RM143.71/lb
Nitro-Tech Whey Gold is still the cheapest whey per pound on LAC's site, and the gap to ON Gold Standard widened from about RM8/lb in September to RM16.53/lb now.
The sports deals that do exist
The storewide code skips sports, but a few sports products carry their own offer on 22 October:
- Nitro-Tech Ripped 4 lb, Chocolate Fudge Brownie or Vanilla: "Buy 1 Free 1 [Usual Price, Add 2 units to cart]", mixed flavours allowed. Two tubs cost RM645.90, which is RM193.78 less than two at the RM419.84 member price.
- EC Sports L-Carnitine + Apple Cider Vinegar (473ml): Buy 1 Free 1 at usual price, two for RM152.90.
- ON Micronized Creatine 600g: RM193.00 member, LAC's highest sports discount at 40%.
- ON Creatine+ Straw Peach 360g: RM140.00 member (44% off RM249.00), listed under the limited-time member offers.
- GU energy gels: "Buy 6 & up 20% off" and "Buy 24 units (1 box) at 30% off". A box of RM11.50 GU gels is about RM193.20 (RM8.05 a gel); a box of RM13.90 Roctane is about RM233.52. Several listings still print expiry dates of 01/09/26 and 01/10/26, which have passed, so ask the store about dates before you buy a box.
Octodeals codes (ending 22 October)
These ran on individual LAC supplements alongside LAC383 and, per the homepage, end on 22 October:

- Buy 1 Free 1: LAC L-Carnitine + Apple Cider Vinegar (LCAC10)
Code-free offers that carry no end date: Any 2 at 40% off on the Mega Multi range (two Men's or Women's Mega Multi Gold at RM217.90 come to about RM261.48, against RM348.64 at member price), Buy 2 Free 1 on LAC Junior lines, and 30% off on Bilberry Plus and Lutein 40mg.
Arithmetic for when a code is live: Buy 2 Free 2 always beats 38% for 3. Four L.Pro. for RM767.80 is RM191.95 each; three with LAC383 are about RM714.05, or RM238.02 each. If November brings a new set of codes, check them against LAC383 the same way.
The nett-price shelf
LAC's Best Offers page has turned over since September. On 22 October it lists:
- LAC Herbs Ashwagandha Root Gummy (60): "Short Expiry[03/27], Crazy Offer @ RM79 Nett", against RM172.90 usual
- LAC Activated ZHI (Energy) and ZHI (Immune), 15 sticks: "Short Expiry[03/27], Crazy Offer @ RM99 Nett" each, against RM222.90 usual
- ChildLife Vitamin C liquid: no longer on a nett offer, and out of stock online
The September RM189 Taut S.Shield nett deal has gone. Honey is still on the member offers page: Manuka "as low as RM98", MGO 400+ 250g at RM225 nett plus a free NZ Bush Honey worth RM85, and Kanuka, Rata and NZ Bush Honey (RM69 each) at Buy 2 Free 1. Nett-price items are on the LAC383 exclusion list, so none of these stacks with it.
So is LAC Club worth it?
LAC's promotions page still describes the card as a "2-year Membership (Worth RM30)" and publishes no sign-up fee online, so ask in store. Members also earn LAC$ points (the T.A.C-1000 Plus page shows "You may earn LAC$8.5"). Five rules cover most baskets:
- Join if you buy one or two supplements at a time. A flat 20% on a RM300 to RM500 item is RM60 to RM100 off, and Buy 2 Up takes it to 25%.
- Join if you buy MuscleTech, Isopure or ON's smaller lines. At 35% the card is worth RM201.56 on a 5 lb Nitro-Tech Whey Gold.
- Rethink it if you only buy ON 5 lb whey or Isolate. 15% and 5% are thin. Compare against pharmacy and marketplace prices before assuming LAC is cheapest.
- For three or more supplements, LAC383 wins. It beats both member tiers, and you need an account to use it anyway.
- Check the product's own offer first. Buy 1 Free 1, Buy 2 Free 2 and Any 2 at 40% beat 38% for 3.
Fine print
- Card prices are logged-out list prices. LAC's help pages say "Membership discount is not reflected when I add products into shopping cart", and a logged-out cart we tested in August applied no member price or code. Our LAC383 totals are arithmetic from the tooltip, not a checkout screenshot.
- Offers do not stack. LAC383 "cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts". Pick one route per item.
- Only the Octodeals codes are dated. LAC383, the honey prices and the Best Offers items carry no printed end date.
- Gifts with purchase: a "Free Online Exclusive Gift with min. spend RM399", and LAC Masquelier's French Pine Bark Extract 25s with RM999 spend, while stocks last.
- Short-expiry stock is final-price stock. The RM79 and RM99 nett items expire 03/27.
Check LAC Malaysia's promotions page for current terms. LAC's store locator lists 73 outlets on 22 October 2026, up from 72 in September.
