> Quick view: LAC Malaysia has two price systems and, this month, one storewide sale that only touches one of them. On ordinary supplements the LAC Club member price is a flat 20% off (25% on Buy 2 Up), and from three units the Buy 3 @ 33% off usual price beats it. On sports nutrition neither the old code nor the new 33% applies, so the member price is the only discount, and across LAC's 62 sports SKUs it ranges from 13% to 36%. We re-read every member price on LAC's own site on 15 September 2026: 282 of them, 220 at exactly 20%.

First, the question that brought you here

LAC Malaysia's Payday Sale ran 24–31 July 2026. The Merdeka set that followed expired on 31 August. The 9.9 Deals campaign after that, promo code 990 for a second supplement at RM9.90, was dated on LAC's homepage to 9 September and has gone.

What is live on 15 September 2026 is a simpler storewide mechanic. LAC's September Highlights post reads: "Kick off September with better wellness — enjoy storewide Buy 3 @ 33% OFF! Valid until 30 September." We cover that sale item by item, including when 40% or Buy 1 Free 1 beats it, in a separate article.

This piece answers the longer-lived question underneath it: is the LAC Club card actually worth anything, on what, and at what quantity?

The Malaysian entity behind the stores is LAC Global Brands (M) Sdn. Bhd., company no. 200101009251 (545007-W).

LAC runs two price systems, not one

Open any ordinary LAC supplement page and you get two member prices plus a sale tooltip. Open a protein tub and you get one member price and nothing else. That difference is the whole article.

Here is a live supplement, LAC T.A.C-1000 Plus Timed-Release (180 caplets), read on 15 September 2026:

  • Usual price: RM428.90 each
  • MEMBER (Buy 1, Save 20%): RM343.12
  • MEMBER (Buy 2 Up, Save 25%): RM321.68 each, RM643.36 for two, RM965.04 for three
  • Buy 3 @ 33% off usual price: about RM862.09 for three (RM287.36 each)

So the card wins at one or two units, and the sale wins at three by RM102.95. Put differently, going from two tubs to three costs you only RM218.73 extra, which is 49% off a third tub. If you were going to finish three, buy three.

The sale is "Mix Allowed", so the three do not have to match. T.A.C-1000 Plus 180s (RM428.90), LAC Activated L.Pro. 80s (RM383.90) and LAC Activated ZHI Immune (RM222.90) come to RM1,035.70 usual, about RM693.92 at 33% off, against RM828.56 at their single-unit member prices.

The exclusion list nobody prints

The 33% sale's tooltip on LAC's product pages has four lines: "Usual Price", "Add 3 items to cart", "Promotion except Sport Item, Foodstuffs, RTDs, Bars, Local distrubutors, Nett Price Item, and LAC Minis" (LAC's spelling), and "Mix Allowed". It is the same exclusion line code 990 carried.

Two consequences. First, the 33% comes off usual price, so it replaces your member discount rather than stacking with it. Second, seven categories are shut out, and the biggest by value is sports nutrition. We checked all 62 products in LAC's sports nutrition promotion on 15 September: none carries the 33% label. Of the 198 listings that do, every one is an ordinary supplement.

For sports nutrition, the member percentage is all over the place

We pulled every product in LAC's sports nutrition promotion, all 62 SKUs, and read the member saving off each one. The spread is identical to what we found on 9 September:

  • 36% off: 3 SKUs
  • 35% off: 33 SKUs
  • 33% off: 6 SKUs
  • 32% off: 2 SKUs
  • 31% off: 1 SKU
  • 26% off: 1 SKU
  • 25% off: 2 SKUs
  • 23% off: 8 SKUs
  • 17% off: 1 SKU
  • 16% off: 3 SKUs
  • 13% off: 2 SKUs

The median is 35%, which is genuinely good. But six sports SKUs give members less than the flat 20% that any ordinary LAC multivitamin gets:

  • 13% off: ON Gold Standard 100% Isolate Chocolate Bliss (5.2 lb), RM699.90 usual, RM611.00 member
  • 13% off: ON Gold Standard 100% Isolate Rich Vanilla (5.02 lb), RM699.90 usual, RM611.00 member
  • 16% off: ON Serious Mass Chocolate, Vanilla and Banana (6 lb), RM279.90 usual, RM234.00 member (Banana out of stock online on 15 September)
  • 17% off: ON Platinum Hydrowhey Turbo Chocolate (1.80 lb), RM349.90 usual, RM291.00 member

LAC discounts its premium isolate and its bulk mass-gainer least. If those are what you buy, the card is worth noticeably less to you than the marketing implies.

The percentage is a trap, so price per pound instead

Within one product line the member percentage moves against value. Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey, three sizes, all listed on 15 September 2026:

  • 1 lb: RM184.90 usual, RM137.00 member (26% off), RM137.00 per lb
  • 2 lb: RM319.90 usual, RM215.00 member (33% off), RM107.50 per lb
  • 5 lb: RM539.90 usual, RM414.00 member (23% off), RM82.80 per lb

The 5 lb tub has the worst member discount of the three and is the cheapest protein. The same happens with Hydrowhey: the 1.8 lb tub is 17% off at RM161.67 per lb, while the 3.5 lb tub carries "ON Platinum Hydrowhey 3.5lbs RM449 nett" on its card, RM609.90 usual, which is RM128.29 per lb.

The Nitro-Tech bundles are gone

On 9 September three MuscleTech lines carried a flat "Buy 2 units" price, including Nitro-Tech 100% Whey Gold at RM290 each. On 15 September neither the grid tiles nor the product page show it. Those tubs are back to the plain 35% member price:

  • Nitro-Tech 100% Whey Gold (5.00 lb): RM575.90 usual, RM374.34 member
  • Nitro-Tech Whey Protein (4 lb): RM619.90 usual, RM402.94 member
  • Nitro-Tech Ripped (4 lb): RM645.90 usual, RM419.84 member

A pair of Nitro-Tech Gold now costs RM748.68, which is RM168.68 more than the bundle did. It is still the cheapest whey per pound on LAC's site at about RM74.87 per lb, ahead of the 5 lb Gold Standard (RM82.80), Nitro-Tech Whey 4 lb (RM100.74) and Isopure Zero Carb 3 lb (RM112.65). LAC also still prices the 5 lb Nitro-Tech Gold (RM575.90) below the 4 lb Nitro-Tech Whey (RM619.90). Check the size on the label, not the position on the page.

Two sports items do run a deal outside the member price this month. ON Creatine+ Straw Peach (360g) shows "40% off" against RM249.00 usual, about RM149.40. And the four GU Roctane Energy Gel flavours (RM13.90 each) show "Buy 6 & up 20% off" and "Buy 24 units (1 Box) at 30% off", about RM233.52 a box or RM9.73 a gel. The Straw Kiwi and Cherry Lime listings are marked Expiry 01/10/26, so those boxes only suit a race in the next fortnight.

Six product codes, and when they beat the 33%

Individual supplements carry their own September codes on the same card. Every one ends in 09:

  • NMN09: LAC NMN 450mg (30 sticks), RM1,722.90 usual, Buy 2 Free 2
  • NMNC09: LAC NMN Complex (30 softgels), RM1,319.90 usual, Buy 1 Free 1
  • SC09: LAC StemC (2g x 30 sticks), RM1,379.90 usual, Buy 1 Free 1
  • RJP09: LAC Taut Rejuvenate+ (50ml x 8 bottles), RM346.90 usual, Buy 1 Free 1
  • RJ09: LAC Taut Premium Collagen Rejuvenate 13,000mg (50ml x 8), RM319.90 usual, Buy 1 Free 1
  • FPB09: LAC Masquelier's French Pine Bark Extract, RM329.90 (50 tablets) / RM1,089.90 (175) / RM1,749.90 (300), 40% off one unit

LP8X80, the Buy 1 Free 1 plus RM100 rebate on the 8-bottle LAC L.Pro. (RM2,699), has disappeared since 9 September; that product now shows only the 33% for 3.

Two code-free offers also sit on the cards. "Any 3 at 40% off" runs on LAC's omega and cholesterol lines, including Extra Strength Fish Body Oil (RM203.90), Primax Omega + CoQ-10 (RM274.90), Activated Cholesterex (RM271.90) and CoQ-10 200mg Plus E (RM429.90). A flat 35% off runs on three LAC Men's products: Horny Goat Weed Plus (RM231.90), Mega Maca (RM244.90) and Test. Formula (RM356.90).

Do the arithmetic before you pick:

  • Buy 1 Free 1 always beats the 33%. Two LAC Taut Rejuvenate+ for RM346.90 is 50% off; three at 33% off would be about RM697.26.
  • Any 3 at 40% beats Buy 3 at 33%. Fish Body Oil, Primax and Cholesterex come to about RM450.42 at 40% off, against RM502.97 at 33%.
  • FPB09 is for one bottle only. The card says "Buy 1 unit at 40% off" and "Limited to either [1] size per Member only". One 50-tablet bottle is RM197.94; three at 33% off are about RM663.10, or RM221.03 each.

LAC does not publish an end date for the 09 codes. The suffix is our read of the monthly pattern, not a deadline.

The nett-price shelf

LAC's Best Offers page still lists two products, both unchanged since 9 September:

  • ChildLife Essentials Vitamin C 250mg/5ml liquid: RM101.90 usual, RM81.52 member, card says "Special Offer: RM39.90 Nett". That is 61% off and RM41.62 below the member price.
  • LAC Taut S.Shield (60 vegetable capsules): RM489.90 usual, RM391.92 member, card says "Short Expiry[01/27], Crazy Offer @ RM189 Nett." Also 61% off, RM202.92 below the member price.

The limited-time member offers page has shrunk from 218 listings on 9 September to 29, and most of what is new is honey from Radiant:

  • Radiant Tranzalpine Organic Manuka Honey MGO 100+ (500g): RM98 nett against RM175 usual
  • Radiant Tranzalpine Organic Manuka Honey MGO 250+ (500g): RM168 nett against RM265 usual
  • Radiant Tranzalpine Organic Manuka Honey MGO 400+ (250g): RM225 nett plus a free NZ Bush Honey worth RM85
  • Radiant Organic Kanuka Honey and NZ Bush Honey (500g, RM69): Buy 2 Free 1, so three jars for RM138

Nett-price items and foodstuffs are on the 33% exclusion list, so none of these stacks.

So is LAC Club worth it?

LAC's promotions page still describes the card as a "2-year Membership (Worth RM30)". It publishes no sign-up fee or tier structure online, so treat RM30 as the value LAC assigns and ask in store. Five rules cover almost every case:

  • Join if you buy sports nutrition. No storewide sale touches it, so the member price is the only discount on protein, creatine and BCAAs. On a single 2 lb tub of Gold Standard Whey the card is worth RM104.90.
  • Join if you buy one or two supplements in the RM300–RM500 band. A flat 20% there is RM60–RM100 off, and Buy 2 Up takes it to 25%.
  • Skip the card for a three-item basket this month. Buy 3 @ 33% off usual price beats both member tiers, and anyone can use it until 30 September.
  • Check the product code first. Buy 1 Free 1, Buy 2 Free 2 and Any 3 at 40% all beat the 33%.
  • Don't bother for one small bottle. Twenty per cent off a RM40 item is RM8; on small baskets the pharmacy chains often do better.

Fine print

  • Prices on cards are logged-out list prices. LAC's help pages carry the line "Membership discount is not reflected when I add products into shopping cart", and when we tested a logged-out cart in August it applied no member price and no sale discount. The 33% total above is our arithmetic from the tooltip, not a checkout screenshot.
  • Offers do not stack. The FPB09 card says it "cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts"; pick one route per item and compare totals.
  • Only the storewide sale is dated. Product codes, the honey nett prices and the Best Offers items carry no end date. LAC's promotions page also still carries a stale "12.12 Sale" slot; ignore it.
  • Gift with purchase: a LAC Limited-Edition Bath Towel in olive green with RM799 spend, while stocks last.
  • Nett-price and short-expiry items are final-price items. The RM189 Taut S.Shield is stock expiring 01/27. Fine if you will finish it; poor value if you will not.

Check LAC Malaysia's promotions page for current terms. LAC lists 72 outlets across 10 states; there are none in Pahang, Kelantan, Terengganu, Perlis, Putrajaya or Labuan.
