> Status, 23 October 2026: Live It Up Homestore's Merdeka Sale ended on 31 August 2026. The store is still trading at Lot LG306A, LG Oval, 1 Utama New Wing (03-7710 9288). Its newest offers are a Corelle Brands x Miffy range at RM79 per item, a Corelle Seka kettle at RM198 and a free gift for spending RM500 or more. None of the posters prints an end date.
Is the Merdeka Sale still on?
No. The up-to-90% Merdeka Sale ran from 1 to 31 August 2026 and was not extended. Since then Live It Up has posted single-item and single-brand offers on its Facebook page, each with a printed normal price, the offer price and "terms and conditions apply". Treat every price below as good while stock lasts, not until a date.
What's on at Live It Up now (as of 23 October 2026)
Corelle Brands x Miffy, RM79 each (posted 19 October). Five Miffy-printed items, each with a printed normal price of RM299, which is about 73% off:
- 2-piece double-wall glasses, 345ml
- Round carafe, 1.9L
- Thermal vacuum flask with handle, 800ml
- Thermal flask with cup lid and foldable spoon, 580ml
- 2-piece rectangle glass storage set (640ml and 1,050ml)
Corelle Seka All Rounder Kettle 1.7L, RM198. The printed normal price is RM499, so the poster's "you save RM301" works out to about 60% off. It is a glass-bodied electric kettle with a digital touch panel and seven temperature settings from 40°C to 100°C, which is useful for green tea or baby formula.
Umbra sale. A poster shows Umbra's bathroom, shelving and organiser lines under a red "SALE" banner. The percentage is cropped in the public thumbnail, so check the shelf tags in store.
Zwilling Moment 2-piece cookware set. A stainless steel pot with a steamer insert has its own poster, but the price is not visible in the public view. Ask at the counter.
The free gift ladder
Three posters set out a spend-and-get offer, marked "limited, while stocks last":
- Spend RM500+: Zwiesel Colors small votive box, 389ml
- Spend RM1,000+: Décor Fresh Seal Clips 1.9L tall clear container
- Spend RM2,000+: Umbra Otto automatic soap/sanitiser dispenser, 250ml (assorted colours)
The posters disagree on the votive box: the tier summary says a set of four holders, while the single poster says five. Look inside the box before you pay. The posters also do not say whether the threshold is per receipt or whether the RM79 and RM198 items count towards it, so ask before you build a basket around a gift.
Worked examples
- Just one Miffy flask: RM79 instead of RM299. This is the cheapest way in, and you save RM220.
- Reaching the RM500 gift: the Seka kettle (RM198) plus four Miffy items (4 × RM79 = RM316) comes to RM514. On the printed normal prices that basket is RM1,695. If both offers count towards the threshold, the Zwiesel votive box comes free.
- Don't chase the RM1,000 tier for a container. The Décor 1.9L container is a supermarket-grade item. Spending an extra RM486 to move up from the RM500 tier only makes sense if you were already planning a bigger cookware buy.
What happened to the September clearance prices?
In mid-September Live It Up posted Zwilling Motion Plus pans from RM169 (three-piece Combi RM749), a Zwiesel Glas Taste six-glass set at RM188 and a Hello Kitty x Chefmade saucepan at RM69. Those posters have since been pushed off the page's recent photos and have not been reposted. Some stock may remain, but call before you travel for them.
Who should go, and who should skip
Go now if you want gift-ready drinkware: the Miffy range is a fixed RM79 per piece, which makes it easy to budget for Christmas or a housewarming present. Also go if you need a temperature-control kettle and like glass bodies.
Skip if you are after everyday basics at the lowest price. RM79 is a character-licensing price, not a budget one, and supermarket flasks cost less. Also skip if you are waiting for a store-wide markdown. Nothing currently matches August's "up to 90%".
