> Quick view: From 16 to 30 September 2026, Mykori sells Kakigori at RM10.10 to Kori Mate members to celebrate ten years. The add-on ladder for pricier bowls looks like a penalty, but it simply follows the menu, so every bowl priced RM15 to RM19 saves exactly RM4.90. Join the free membership first, then order the bowl you actually want.
Mykori is the halal-certified, Puchong-headquartered Japanese-style shaved ice chain, with cafes from Kangar to Miri. For its tenth birthday it has gone with a price that matches the number: RM10.10 Kakigori for two weeks. The mechanics below come from Mykori's own campaign banner on mykori.my, its Instagram announcement of 15 September 2026, and the prices on its Signature Kakigori menu page, all checked on 16 September 2026.
How the RM10.10 pricing works
There are two rules, and the second one is where people get confused.
- Any Kakigori priced RM15 and below costs RM10.10.
- Kakigori priced above RM15 takes an add-on on top of RM10.10: +RM1 for an RM16 bowl, +RM2 for RM17, +RM3 for RM18 and +RM4 for RM19.
Put against Mykori's current Signature Kakigori menu, that gives:
- RM14 bowls (Cookies & Cream, Mango Tango, Thai Tea): RM10.10, saving RM3.90
- RM15 bowls (Mount Fuji, Biscoff Yogurt, Golden Yuzu, Roasted Hojicha, Matcha Latte): RM10.10, saving RM4.90
- RM16 bowls (Peanut Chocolate, Strawberry Blush): RM11.10, saving RM4.90
- RM17 bowls (Injeolmi Mochi Snow, Matcha Berry, Chocoholic): RM12.10, saving RM4.90
- RM18 bowls (Peanut Berry, Valrhona Chocolate): RM13.10, saving RM4.90
- RM19 bowls (Berry Berry, Pistachio Crunch, plus Tiramissu and Taromissu on the campaign banner): RM14.10, saving RM4.90
The part worth knowing: the add-on is not a penalty
Because each add-on rises by exactly the same RM1 steps as the menu price, the discount never shrinks as you trade up. A Pistachio Crunch saves you the same RM4.90 as a Matcha Latte. So there is no reason to switch from the bowl you like to a cheaper one just because the poster shouts RM10.10.
The only bowls that save less are the three RM14 ones, at RM3.90 each. If you are torn between Cookies & Cream at RM14 and Mount Fuji at RM15, the promotion makes them the same price, which quietly makes Mount Fuji the better deal.
In percentage terms the sweet spot is the RM15 row, at roughly a third off. An RM19 bowl comes to about 26% off, still a solid cut on Mykori's priciest Kakigori.
Worked examples
A group of four. Mango Tango (RM14), Mount Fuji (RM15), Chocoholic (RM17) and Pistachio Crunch (RM19) would normally cost RM65. Under the promotion that becomes RM10.10 + RM10.10 + RM12.10 + RM14.10 = RM46.40, a saving of RM18.60.
A couple going premium. Two Berry Berry bowls drop from RM38 to RM28.20, saving RM9.80.
The Tiramissu fan. Tiramissu 2.0 launched in August at RM19, and Mykori's own post said it is only at selected outlets while stocks last. Under the promotion it is RM14.10, but check that your outlet still has it before you commit to the drive.
Step by step
- Become a Kori Mate member first. The campaign banner labels this deal "Members Exclusive". Mykori's own posts say membership is free and point to rewards.mykori.my for registration. Do it before you reach the counter so you are not signing up with a queue behind you.
- Pick an outlet and check its hours. Many Mykori cafes open at noon or later: Seksyen 7 Shah Alam and Kangar open at 2pm, Kota Kemuning and Batu Pahat at 1pm. A mid-morning dessert run will mostly find doors shut.
- Order and identify yourself as a Kori Mate member, then confirm the promotional price shows on the bill before you pay.
Where you can use it
Mykori's outlet page lists cafes in five regions. In the Klang Valley there are Kepong, Bandar Sri Permaisuri in Cheras, Sri Gombak, UIA Gombak, Selayang, Sungai Buloh, Bandar Puteri Puchong, Bandar Baru Bangi, Kota Kemuning, Seksyen 7 and Bukit Jelutong in Shah Alam, Puncak Alam, Batang Kali and Bukit Beruntung. There is no outlet in central KL or the big city malls.
Outside the Klang Valley there are outlets in Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Johor (Muar, Segamat, Batu Pahat, Kulai and Bandar Seri Alam among them), Perak, Penang, Kedah and Perlis, Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang, and a single East Malaysian cafe in Miri.
A few things the list does not make obvious:
- Selayang is marked temporarily closed and Kota Damansara is marked permanently closed, though both still appear on the page.
- Setia Tropika in Johor Bahru opened on 12 September 2026, per Mykori's Instagram, even though the outlet page still says "Coming Soon".
- Meru in Ipoh is listed as coming soon, with no opening date given.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
Good for anyone within reach of an outlet who already likes Kakigori, groups sharing several bowls, and fans of the RM17 to RM19 flavours, who get the full RM4.90 off.
Skip it if your nearest Mykori is a long drive away. RM4.90 saved does not cover the petrol and parking for a special trip. The published material also does not say whether delivery-app orders qualify, so plan on buying in store.
The fine print that could trip you up
- Membership is the gate. Walk in without a Kori Mate account and expect to pay menu price.
- "T&C apply" is all the banner says. Mykori has not published the full terms on its website or in the campaign post, so whether there is a limit per member, per visit or per day is not stated. Ask at the counter if you are ordering for a big group.
- The named add-on bowls are all Signature Kakigori. The build-your-own Kenko Kakigori (from RM15 with milk ice, +RM1 for yogurt ice, +RM2 for soya ice) is not mentioned on the banner. By the price rule it would fall into the same bands, but confirm with staff before assuming.
- Not every outlet carries every flavour. Tiramissu 2.0 is officially at selected outlets only.
- The promotion ends on 30 September 2026, a Wednesday.
Full menu and outlet contacts are on Mykori Malaysia's website, and membership sign-up is at rewards.mykori.my.
