> Quick view: Resorts World Genting is selling rooms at two of its hotels under an offer called Exciting Holiday Escape. Resorts World Awana's Superior Deluxe room is advertised from RM248 against a normal price of RM610, and Genting SkyWorlds Hotel's Quads room from RM268 against RM960. Book by 15 November 2026 for stays up to 30 November. On 17 September we checked the booking engine for every night from 18 September to 30 November. Without logging in, you pay RM249 at Awana and RM299 at SkyWorlds Hotel on most Sunday to Thursday nights. Saturdays cost a lot more, and the rate is room only and non-refundable.

Resorts World Genting is the hill resort run by Genting Malaysia Berhad in Genting Highlands, on the Pahang side of the Titiwangsa range. The offer is on the Exciting Holiday Escape page of its own website, and the prices below come from its booking engine. The two hotels are very different places, so choose the hotel first and the price second.

The two hotels

Genting SkyWorlds Hotel is at the top, beside SkyAvenue and the Arena of Stars. A link bridge on Level 2 of its Main Block takes you to Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park, SkyAvenue and SkyCasino. The Quads room in this offer is 260 sq ft with two Queen-sized beds. The hotel has Quads in both its Main Block and the Valley Wing next door, and the offer doesn't say which wing you get.

Resorts World Awana is lower down the hill, 3,100 ft above sea level, surrounded by rainforest and its own golf course. It runs a free shuttle to Genting Highlands Premium Outlets, 5 to 10 minutes away. Pick Awana for a quiet stay, and SkyWorlds Hotel if you're going up for the theme park.

How to book, step by step

  1. Open the offer page and tap Book Now under the hotel you want. It opens the "Exciting Holiday Escape" room in the RWG booking engine.
  2. Log in to Genting Rewards if you're a member. The booking page says logging in lets you "book with discounted rates". The RM248 and RM268 headline prices are probably member rates, since the lowest public prices we saw were RM249 and RM299. We couldn't check member rates without an account.
  3. Change the dates, not just the hotel. The price changes every night (see the calendar below). Moving your stay by one night can save you RM150 or more.
  4. Pay in full. The terms say no refunds if you cancel or don't show up, and your confirmation depends on room availability.

What we found, night by night

These are non-member, room-only prices for one night, checked on 17 September 2026:

Resorts World Awana, Superior Deluxe Room (normal price RM610): - RM249 on most Sunday to Thursday nights, including every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 28 September onwards, except Tuesday 13 October and Monday 9 November. - RM313 on Fridays and most Saturdays, plus Wednesday 23 and Thursday 24 September, Sunday 20 September, Tuesday 13 October, Thursday 22 October and Monday 9 November. - RM385 on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November (Deepavali weekend) and Sunday 29 November. RM489 on Sunday 27 September. - Fully booked on Saturday 26 September and Saturday 28 November. No offer rate is shown for Saturday 21 November.

Genting SkyWorlds Hotel, Quads (normal price RM960): - RM299 on most Sunday to Thursday nights. - RM351 to RM396 on Fridays. - RM445 to RM606 on Saturdays. The highest is RM606 on Saturday 7 November, followed by RM579 on 10 October. - Sundays vary from RM299 to RM552. Sunday 8 November (Deepavali) is RM552. - Fully booked on Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Saturday 26 September.

Worked examples

Family of four, SkyWorlds Hotel, Tuesday night. RM299 for a Quads room is RM74.75 per person, against the RM960 normal price. Two Sunday-to-Monday nights, such as 4 and 5 October, come to RM598, compared with RM1,920 at the normal price.

Same room on a Saturday. Saturday 10 October costs RM579, while Sunday 11 October is RM336. If your family can go up on Sunday instead, you save RM243.

Weekend couple who don't need the theme park. Awana's Saturday rate is mostly RM313, cheaper than any Saturday at SkyWorlds Hotel. On 3 October, for example, Awana is RM313 and SkyWorlds Hotel is RM499.

Couple who want breakfast included. This offer is room only. Resorts World Genting's separate Rise & Dine offer lists a First World Hotel Standard room with breakfast for two from RM171 for non-members (from RM131 for members), valid to 31 December. That's cheaper than Awana at RM249 with no breakfast, if you don't mind a busy hotel.

Awana guests visiting Eufloria. In-house Awana guests get Buy 1 Free 1 on Eufloria standard tickets. Eufloria's introductory Malaysian adult price is RM35, so two adults pay RM35 instead of RM70. Eufloria is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays except on public and school holidays, so plan the visit for another day. The offer page doesn't explain how to claim the free ticket, so ask at check-in.

How it compares with other Resorts World Genting room offers

  • Visa cardholder rates (to 14 November): Genting SkyWorlds Hotel Quads from RM302, Resorts World Awana Superior Deluxe from RM283. Both are higher than this offer's weeknight rates.
  • Theme Park Room Combo (to 31 December): SkyWorlds Hotel Quads with two Genting SkyWorlds 1-Day Standard tickets from RM467 for members or RM497 for non-members. Choose this if you're buying park tickets anyway.
  • Skytropolis Room Combo (to 31 December): Awana Superior Deluxe with two Skytropolis 1-Day Unlimited Ride Passes from RM401 for members or RM429 for non-members.

Who it suits, and who should skip it

Good for: families who can travel on a weeknight, theme park visitors who want to walk straight from their room to SkyAvenue, and couples who want a cool, quiet night at Awana without paying RM610.

Skip it if: you can only travel on Saturdays, you might need to cancel, or you want breakfast included. Also skip Awana if you're going for the sports facilities (see below).

Fine print that trips people up

  • Booking closes 15 November, and the last stay night is 30 November 2026.
  • No refunds. Cancelled or unused bookings are not refunded, and the terms say blackout dates may apply.
  • Room only. Breakfast at SkyWorlds Hotel is served at Coffee Terrace and is not part of this rate.
  • Awana's Sports Centre is closed from 14 September to 14 December 2026 for maintenance and upgrades. The resort also warns of construction noise and dust nearby.
  • Cable car closures in October. Genting SkyWay is closed 5 to 9 October and Awana SkyWay 12 to 16 October for maintenance. While Awana SkyWay is closed, free shuttle buses run between Sky Sentral Bus Terminal and Gohtong Sentral every 15 to 20 minutes from 7am to 11.30pm.
  • Early check-in at SkyWorlds Hotel costs extra: RM20 from 6am to 9am, RM10 from 9am to 12pm and RM5 from 12pm to 3pm, per room.
