> Quick view: Resorts World Genting is selling rooms at two of its hotels under an offer called Exciting Holiday Escape. Resorts World Awana's Superior Deluxe room is advertised from RM248 against a normal price of RM610, and Genting SkyWorlds Hotel's Quads room from RM268 against RM960. Book by 15 November 2026 for stays up to 30 November. We first priced every night on 17 September and re-checked every remaining night, 27 October to 30 November, on 26 October. Without logging in, you still pay RM249 at Awana and RM299 at SkyWorlds Hotel on most Sunday to Thursday nights. Saturdays cost a lot more, and the rate is room only and non-refundable. If you can book by 29 October for a stay up to 15 November, the separate Payday Sale is cheaper (see below).
Resorts World Genting is the hill resort run by Genting Malaysia Berhad in Genting Highlands, on the Pahang side of the Titiwangsa range. The offer is on the Exciting Holiday Escape page of its own website, and the prices below come from its booking engine. The two hotels are very different places, so choose the hotel first and the price second.
The two hotels
Genting SkyWorlds Hotel is at the top, beside SkyAvenue and the Arena of Stars. A link bridge on Level 2 of its Main Block takes you to Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park, SkyAvenue and SkyCasino. The Quads room in this offer is 260 sq ft with two Queen-sized beds. The hotel has Quads in both its Main Block and the Valley Wing next door, and the offer doesn't say which wing you get.
Resorts World Awana is lower down the hill, 3,100 ft above sea level, surrounded by rainforest and its own golf course. It runs a free shuttle to Genting Highlands Premium Outlets, 5 to 10 minutes away. Pick Awana for a quiet stay, and SkyWorlds Hotel if you're going up for the theme park.
How to book, step by step
- Open the offer page (it now carries a "Last Chance" banner) and tap Book Now under the hotel you want. It opens the "Exciting Holiday Escape" room in the RWG booking engine.
- Log in to Genting Rewards if you're a member. The booking page says logging in lets you "book with discounted rates". The RM248 and RM268 headline prices are probably member rates, since the lowest public prices we saw were RM249 and RM299. We couldn't check member rates without an account.
- Change the dates, not just the hotel. The price changes every night (see the calendar below). Moving your stay by one night can save you RM150 or more.
- Pay in full. The terms say no refunds if you cancel or don't show up, and your confirmation depends on room availability.
Cheaper until 29 October: the Payday Sale
Resorts World Genting is running a second, shorter offer on the same two rooms. The Jom Pergi Payday Sale takes up to 40% off for bookings made 19 to 29 October 2026, for stays from 20 October to 15 November 2026. The offer page lists Awana Superior Deluxe from RM186 and SkyWorlds Hotel Quads from RM235, Sunday to Thursday.
It books through a different engine (xplore.rwgenting.com). On 26 October that engine showed a non-member starting rate of RM187 for Awana and RM262 for SkyWorlds Hotel Quads. That is RM62 and RM37 below the Exciting Holiday Escape's RM249 and RM299 weeknight rates.
The Payday terms are stricter on changes: no date or room-type changes after booking, the discounted rate may not be open on every date, and cancelled or unused bookings forfeit the full payment. Price your exact night in both offers before paying. For stays after 15 November, or if you book after 29 October, the Exciting Holiday Escape is the one left.
What we found, night by night
These are non-member, room-only prices for one night, re-checked on 26 October 2026 for every night left in the offer (27 October to 30 November):
Resorts World Awana, Superior Deluxe Room (normal price RM610):
- RM249 on 28 and 29 October and on 1, 2, 3, 5, 12, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 29 November.
- RM313 on every Friday, on Saturdays 14 and 28 November, and on 27 October and 4, 9, 10, 11, 18, 19 and 30 November.
- RM385 on Saturday 31 October, Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November (Deepavali weekend) and Thursday 26 November.
- No offer rate is shown for Saturday 21 November.
Genting SkyWorlds Hotel, Quads (normal price RM960):
- RM299 on most Sunday to Thursday nights, including every night from 23 to 26 November and Monday 30 November.
- Fridays: RM396 (30 Oct), RM485 (6 Nov), RM316 (13 Nov), RM378 (20 Nov) and RM502 (27 Nov).
- Saturdays: RM579 (31 Oct), fully booked (7 Nov), RM499 (14 Nov), RM526 (21 Nov) and RM659 (28 Nov).
- Sundays: RM316 (1 Nov), RM739 (8 Nov, Deepavali), RM356 (15 Nov), RM374 (22 Nov) and RM477 (29 Nov). Monday 9 November is RM439.
Compared with our first check on 17 September, Awana's pattern has barely moved. SkyWorlds Hotel's late-November weekends are dearer: Saturdays now top out at RM659, against RM606 in September.
Worked examples
Family of four, SkyWorlds Hotel, Tuesday night. RM299 for a Quads room is RM74.75 per person, against the RM960 normal price. Two nights from Sunday 1 to Tuesday 3 November come to RM615 (RM316 + RM299), compared with RM1,920 at the normal price.
Same room on a Saturday. Saturday 14 November costs RM499, while Sunday 15 November is RM356. If your family can go up on Sunday instead, you save RM143. Avoid the Deepavali weekend: Sunday 8 November is RM739, more than double a normal weeknight.
Weekend couple who don't need the theme park. Awana's Saturday rate is RM313 on 14 and 28 November, cheaper than any Saturday at SkyWorlds Hotel. On 28 November, for example, Awana is RM313 and SkyWorlds Hotel is RM659.
Couple who want breakfast included. This offer is room only. Resorts World Genting's separate Rise & Dine offer lists a First World Hotel Standard room with breakfast for two from RM171 for non-members (from RM131 for members), valid to 31 December. Since 3 October that breakfast is served at The Food Factory, Level 4, First World Plaza. It's cheaper than Awana at RM249 with no breakfast, if you don't mind a busy hotel.
Awana guests visiting Eufloria. In-house Awana guests get Buy 1 Free 1 on Eufloria standard tickets. Eufloria's introductory Malaysian adult price is RM35, so two adults pay RM35 instead of RM70. Guests of any Resorts World Genting hotel can also buy a RM35 Eufloria entry plus Genting SkyWay return bundle (Malaysian adult, normally RM54; valid 10 October to 31 December). That SkyWay ride is not valid on Awana SkyWay. Since 1 October Eufloria is closed every Wednesday except on public and school holidays, and opens 10am to 6pm. The offer page doesn't explain how to claim the free ticket, so ask at check-in.
How it compares with other Resorts World Genting room offers
- Visa cardholder rates (to 14 November): Genting SkyWorlds Hotel Quads from RM302, Resorts World Awana Superior Deluxe from RM283. Both are higher than this offer's weeknight rates.
- Theme Park Room Combo (to 31 December): SkyWorlds Hotel Quads with two Genting SkyWorlds 1-Day Standard tickets from RM467 for members or RM497 for non-members. Choose this if you're buying park tickets anyway.
- Skytropolis Room Combo (to 31 December): Awana Superior Deluxe with two Skytropolis 1-Day Unlimited Ride Passes from RM401 for members or RM429 for non-members, or SkyWorlds Hotel Quads with the same passes from RM421 or RM451.
All four combo and card prices were unchanged when we re-read the offer pages on 26 October.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
Good for: families who can travel on a weeknight, theme park visitors who want to walk straight from their room to SkyAvenue, and couples who want a cool, quiet night at Awana without paying RM610.
Skip it if: you can only travel on Saturdays, you might need to cancel, or you want breakfast included. Also skip Awana if you're going for the sports facilities (see below).
Fine print that trips people up
- Booking closes 15 November, and the last stay night is 30 November 2026.
- No refunds. Cancelled or unused bookings are not refunded, and the terms say blackout dates may apply.
- Room only. Breakfast at SkyWorlds Hotel is served at Coffee Terrace and is not part of this rate.
- Awana's Sports Centre is closed from 14 September to 14 December 2026 for maintenance and upgrades (still on the resort's advisory on 26 October). The resort also warns of construction noise and dust nearby.
- Awana in-house extras. Besides the Eufloria and F&B perks, the offer page now also lists Genting Nature Adventures explorative tours and programmes as an in-house guest deal, without a price.
- Early check-in at SkyWorlds Hotel costs extra: RM20 from 6am to 9am, RM10 from 9am to 12pm and RM5 from 12pm to 3pm, per room.
