> Status on 14 September 2026: there is no IZO promotion running at SOGO. The IZO Buy 1 Free 1 this article first covered ended on 9 August 2026, and the follow-up IZO Special Offer (11-24 August) is over too. Neither appears on SOGO's promotion or sale index today, and IZO's own website and Facebook page show new arrivals but no discount. What *is* live for anyone buying casual wear at SOGO is the SOGO 32nd Anniversary Sale, 12 September to 11 October 2026, with extra SOGO points on 16 September and 18-20 September.

Is the IZO Buy 1 Free 1 at SOGO still on?

No. Here is what we checked on 14 September 2026:

  • SOGO's own indexes: neither the Sale list (storewide campaigns) nor the Promotion list (counter and department offers) carries an IZO post. SOGO deletes a campaign page once it ends, so an absent page is a reliable sign the offer is over
  • IZO's website (izojeans.com.my) lists its latest men's and women's collection and says the brand runs 18 retail outlets and 7 department-store locations, with SOGO and Parkson named as its department-store partners. It shows no current discount
  • IZO's Facebook page (IZO, "a registered jeans brand since 2004") last posted a new-arrivals update for striped collar shirts, with no promotion attached
  • Careful with Instagram: the account @izostores is a different IZO, selling in Arabic from izostores.com. Its "25% discount" posts do not apply to the Malaysian brand or to SOGO

So walk in expecting normal IZO prices, and ask at the counter whether any in-store markdown is running.

What was the IZO deal? (record)

  • Buy 1 Free 1, 1-9 August 2026, on selected IZO T-shirts, jeans and everyday wear, while stocks lasted
  • Carried at IZO counters in SOGO Kuala Lumpur, SOGO Central i-City Shah Alam and SOGO Mayang Mall, Kuala Terengganu
  • Followed by an IZO Special Offer, 11-24 August 2026, in the Sports & Lifestyle Department of the same three stores: "special prices" on selected styles, with no percentage published
  • Buy 1 Free 1 on two same-priced pieces works out to 50% off each. If the prices differ, the free item is usually the cheaper one, so the saving is smaller

IZO has run the Buy 1 Free 1 format before, so another round is possible. It has not announced one.

What's on at SOGO instead (12 September to 11 October 2026)

The SOGO 32nd Anniversary Sale runs at all four SOGO stores. These are the fashion offers most useful to an IZO shopper, taken from SOGO's own campaign poster:

  • Jeep polo tee and jeans, 2 pieces for RM132 (normal price RM199-RM249 each), Men's Department, marked "Exclusively at SOGO" and available at all stores. Two pieces normally cost RM398-RM498, so you save RM266-RM366, or RM66 a piece
  • Feraud short-sleeve shirts at 50% + 32% off (normal price RM169.90), Men's Department, KL and Shah Alam only. Stacked, that is 66% off, about RM57.77 a shirt
  • Cheetah Kids tops, 2 pieces for RM32 (normal price RM39.90 each), Children's Department, KL, JB and KT only
  • Crocodile long-sleeve shirts and slacks (normal price RM79 each), Men's Department. The poster doesn't show a clear price for this one, so check the tag in store

A separate Warehouse Clearance runs on the 7th Floor Event Hall of SOGO Kuala Lumpur, 9-20 September 2026. Its purchase-with-purchase is a POLO backpack for RM39 (normal price RM99) when you spend RM120. It's limited to one per customer per day.

Extra SOGO points days, and what they're worth

SOGO normally gives members 1 point per RM1 in the department store, and 2,000 points = RM10 (so 1 point = half a sen). The anniversary sale adds two boosted windows. Each counts spend on a single receipt:

  • 16 September 2026 (Malaysia Day): 5x points on RM150-RM299.99, 10x on RM300-RM499.99, 20x on RM500 and above
  • 18-20 September 2026 (Friday to Sunday): 3x points on RM120-RM299.99, 5x on RM300-RM499.99, 10x on RM500 and above
  • Cap: 200,000 points per member per day

Worked examples, if your purchase qualifies:

  • RM200 receipt on 16 Sep: 1,000 points, worth RM5 (2.5% back)
  • RM350 receipt on 16 Sep: 3,500 points, worth RM17.50 (5% back). The same receipt on 19 Sep earns 1,750 points, or RM8.75
  • RM500 receipt on 16 Sep: 10,000 points, worth RM50 (10% back). On 18-20 Sep it is 5,000 points, or RM25
  • RM250 receipt on 20 Sep: 750 points, worth RM3.75. That's below the 2,000-point minimum to redeem, so it only helps if you already hold points

The catch: the points reward excludes the supermarket and "non-participating brands", and SOGO does not list which brands participate. IZO is a brand counter, so ask the cashier whether your IZO receipt earns the multiplier *before* you pay. If it doesn't, the same RM350 earns just the base 350 points (RM1.75).

Other offers that stack with a SOGO shop

  • Atome x SOGO, until 31 December 2026: RM10 off a RM150 spend or RM40 off a RM400 spend, paid through Atome at Customer Service Centres and selected cashiers. RM40 off RM400 is 10%. The 6-month plan carries interest, and it excludes the supermarket, tenanted counters and F&B outlets
  • Merdeka Spend & Win, until 20 September 2026: spend RM69 on one receipt for a chance at one of 10 prizes, each a RM690 SOGO voucher plus 69,000 points. Tenanted counters and F&B are excluded
  • Shop & Sweep with SOGO & Bank Islam, until 30 September 2026: spend RM100 on one receipt for one contest entry, or two with a Bank Islam Card-i
  • Beauty Hall only: a free RM30 coupon on 16 September with a RM350 receipt (KL and JB) or RM300 (Shah Alam). This is not a fashion offer

Who should go, and who should wait

  • Go on 16 September if you're buying RM300 or more of clothing in one trip. It's the best points day of the sale, provided your brand earns the multiplier
  • Go for the Jeep 2-for-RM132 set if you wanted a polo and jeans at IZO's casual price point. It is the closest thing to the old IZO pairing deal that is live today
  • Wait if you only want IZO specifically. There's no IZO discount now, and the brand repeated its Buy 1 Free 1 before. Follow IZO's Facebook page for the next one
  • Skip the points maths on small buys. Anything under RM120 earns base points only

How to check before you go

  1. Open SOGO Malaysia's Sale and Promotion pages and look for an IZO post. If there isn't one, there's no IZO counter offer
  2. Download the free MySOGO app and show the e-Card QR at payment. SOGO says points can't be added later
  3. At the IZO counter, ask two things: is there any markdown, and does this receipt earn anniversary points?
  4. Keep each purchase on one receipt. Every multiplier and PWP here is single-receipt only
