> Status on 21 October 2026: there is no IZO promotion at SOGO. The IZO Buy 1 Free 1 this article first covered ended on 9 August 2026, and the follow-up IZO Special Offer (11-24 August) is over too. The 32nd Anniversary Sale that we pointed IZO shoppers to last month ended on 11 October. What is live now for casual wear is SOGO's Deepavali Price Bonanza, 16 October to 9 November 2026, plus free Deepavali packets on a RM150 receipt.
Is the IZO Buy 1 Free 1 at SOGO still on?
No. Here is what we checked on 21 October 2026:
- SOGO's own indexes: neither the Sale list nor the Promotion list carries an IZO post. The newest entries are the Tefal Fair, Super Value Deals, the Deepavali Price Bonanza and a Sam Edelman counter post. SOGO removes a campaign page once it ends, so an absent page means there's no offer
- IZO's website (izojeans.com.my) now shows its latest collection: mix-linen and mandarin-collar shirts, cotton sweatshirts and loose-cut jeans for men, and set wear, oversized shirts and sweatshirts for women. It still names SOGO and Parkson as its department-store partners, and lists no discount
- IZO's Facebook page (izojeans2004) last changed its cover photo, five days before our check. There's no sale post
- Careful with Instagram: @izostores is a different, Egyptian IZO selling from izostores.com. Its discount posts don't apply to the Malaysian brand or to SOGO
So expect normal IZO prices at the counter, and ask whether any in-store markdown is running.
What was the IZO deal? (record)
- Buy 1 Free 1, 1-9 August 2026, on selected IZO T-shirts, jeans and everyday wear, while stocks lasted
- At IZO counters in SOGO Kuala Lumpur, SOGO Central i-City Shah Alam and SOGO Mayang Mall, Kuala Terengganu
- Followed by an IZO Special Offer, 11-24 August 2026, in the Sports & Lifestyle Department of the same three stores, with no percentage published
- Buy 1 Free 1 on two same-priced pieces is 50% off each. If the prices differ, the free item is usually the cheaper one
IZO has run Buy 1 Free 1 more than once, so another round is possible. Nothing has been announced.
The closest thing live now: SOGO's Deepavali Price Bonanza
The Bonanza runs 16 October to 9 November 2026 at all four SOGO stores, but each item carries a store tag. These are the pieces that cover what an IZO shopper usually buys:
- RCB Polo long pants, RM49 (normal price RM99). The product tile shows dark-wash jeans. Women's Department, KL and Shah Alam only. That's about 51% off
- Dapper round-neck tee, RM19 (normal price RM39.90), Men's Department, KL only. About 52% off
- DP short-sleeve plus-size shirt, RM69 (normal price RM139), Sports & Lifestyle Department, KL, Shah Alam and Kuala Terengganu
- Volkswagen chest bag, RM49 (normal price RM179), Men's Department, all stores
The rest of the poster is a Trussardi perfume (KL only), an SBPRC handbag set (RM99), a Pure dress (RM89), Pierre Cardin bras (RM25, buy 4 free 1) and a Tefal wokpan (RM89). Those last four are at all stores.
What that means by store
- SOGO Kuala Lumpur gets all four casual items: the best stop if you want jeans plus tees
- Central i-City, Shah Alam gets the long pants, the plus-size shirt and the chest bag, but not the RM19 tee
- Mayang Mall, Kuala Terengganu gets the plus-size shirt and the chest bag only
- Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Bahru gets the chest bag only. JB has no Bonanza jeans, tee or shirt
Other SOGO offers you can stack
- Free Deepavali packets and festive shopping bag, from 16 October at all main cashier counters, while stocks last. Spend RM150 in one receipt for packets (up to five packs per customer per day), or RM300 for the bag (up to three a day). Supermarket, tenanted counters and F&B don't count
- We Are 32 Deals, until 25 October: up to 70% off "selected participating brands" across fashion, beauty and home at all stores. SOGO doesn't list the brands, so ask at each counter
- Top Spender Rewards, 12-25 October: the three SOGO Card members with the highest total spend win 3 x RM320 e-Coupons (RM960) each. Tenanted and F&B purchases don't count
- Atome x SOGO, until 31 December: RM10 off RM150, or RM40 off RM400. The 6-month plan carries interest. Supermarket, tenanted counters and F&B are excluded
- Jom Batik on Thursday: SOGO Card members get an extra 10% off batik collections from participating brands in the Women's and Men's departments, every Thursday. It doesn't apply during a Members' Day Sale
- KL only: Super Value Deals at the Ground Floor Centre Atrium, 16-25 October. Spend RM180 in one receipt from this promotion and you can add an Arrow sling bag for RM20 (normal RM59) or a 17-inch Bruno Cavalli gym bag for RM30 (normal RM199.90). A RM150 receipt gets a free RM15 coupon
Worked examples
All prices are Bonanza prices; normal prices are SOGO's own "NP" figures.
- Jeans and tees at SOGO KL. Two RCB Polo long pants (RM98) plus three Dapper tees (RM57) come to RM155. At normal prices that's RM317.70, so you save RM162.70. The receipt clears RM150, so you also get the Deepavali packets. Pay through Atome and it takes RM10 off, for RM145
- Shah Alam, no tee. Two long pants (RM98) plus a DP plus-size shirt (RM69) is RM167, against RM337 at normal prices. It clears the packet line and Atome's RM10
- Kuala Terengganu. DP shirt (RM69) plus the chest bag (RM49) is RM118, against RM318. That's RM32 short of the packet threshold, so a third item gets you the gift
- Going for the festive bag in KL. Three long pants (RM147), three tees (RM57), a DP shirt (RM69) and the chest bag (RM49) total RM322. That earns the bag and the packets on one receipt
Points stay at the base rate: 1 point per RM1 in the department store, and SOGO's rewards page sets 2,000 points at RM10. SOGO has not announced an extra-points day for October, so RM322 earns 322 points, about RM1.61. Members who spend RM300 on one receipt can also claim SOGO's RM7 parking rebate through the Whizcity app.
Who should go, and who should wait
- Go to SOGO KL before 9 November if you want cheap jeans and tees. It is the only store with the RM19 Dapper tee, and stocks aren't listed
- Go before 25 October if you also want to try We Are 32 Deals at fashion counters, since that one ends first
- Skip the trip from JB if you only want casual wear. Johor Bahru's only Bonanza menswear item is the chest bag
- Wait if you want IZO itself. IZO has no discount live, and it has repeated Buy 1 Free 1 before, so watch its Facebook page
Fine print
- Bonanza prices are while stocks last, and SOGO doesn't publish unit counts
- SOGO's Bonanza terms say a return is accepted only if both items bought under the offer are returned together
- The packets, the bag and Atome exclude tenanted counters, and SOGO doesn't say which counters are tenanted. Ask at the IZO counter before you pay
- Easy Payment Plan purchases earn base points only and can't be returned or refunded
- Show the MySOGO e-Card QR at payment. SOGO says points can't be added afterwards

Bonanza dates and stores were read from the campaign banner; prices, normal prices and store tags from the item tiles and their captions on the same page.
