What's on at SOGO in October 2026 (checked 8 October)

SOGO's sale index lists eight campaigns and its promotion index fourteen. The Members' Day page still returns a 404. Here's what's actually running, in the order it ends.

SOGO 32nd Anniversary Sale: all four stores, to Saturday 11 October

This is the one storewide sale, advertised at up to 80% off and running since 12 September. SOGO swapped the poster picks since mid-September. Burberry, Feraud and Cheetah Kids are gone, and these are the six on its page now:

  • Versace L'Homme EDT 100ml: RM132, normal price RM270 (51% off). Beauty Department.
  • Jeep polo tee and jeans, assorted: 2 pieces for RM132, normal price RM249 each (RM498 for two, so about 73% off). Men's Department.
  • Disney round-neck tees, assorted: buy 3 free 2, normal price RM79 each. Five tees cost RM237, about RM47.40 each, which is 40% off. Sports & Lifestyle Department.
  • Cuddles suit sets, assorted: RM32 each, normal price RM59 (46% off). Children's Department.
  • Eco Living mesh ironing board: RM32, normal price RM129 (75% off). Home Department.
  • Jeep handbag, assorted: RM32 instant rebate, normal price RM459 to RM519. That's only 6% to 7% off, the weakest deal on the poster.

Unless SOGO tags an item [KL], [SA], [JB] or [KT], it's at all four stores. For returns, if you bought two items under one offer, you have to return both together.

Worked example. A Versace L'Homme at RM132 plus the ironing board at RM32 comes to RM164 on one receipt. That clears Atome x SOGO's RM150 line, so paying with Atome takes off another RM10 and you pay RM154 for RM399 of normal-price goods. The supermarket and tenanted counters don't count toward the Atome spend.

SOGO Kuala Lumpur 7th Floor Event Hall: fragrance and beauty, to 11 October

Three sales share the hall from 2 to 11 October 2026, each advertised at up to 60% off:

  • Luxasia Clearance Sale, 18 brands: Abercrombie & Fitch, Anna Sui, Carolina Herrera, Coach, Chopard, DKNY, Elie Saab, Ferragamo, Hollister, Jimmy Choo, John Varvatos, Jean Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld, Lanvin, Montblanc, Rabanne, Rochas and Tommy Hilfiger.
  • Fragrance Fair Sale, naming TUMI, Aigner and Ted Baker.
  • Branded Beauty & Scent Clearance x KKM, cosmetics and beauty care as well as fragrance. Its Spin & Win for SOGO vouchers of up to RM100 ran only from 2 to 4 October.

The Sisley "Reverse Anti-Aging Experience" special deal is in the same hall on the same dates. The Ministry of Health's Kempen Kesihatan runs alongside: free general health and cancer screening from 10am to 5pm on 2 to 4 and 9 to 11 October, and dental screening on 9 to 11 October. SOGO doesn't publish item prices for any of these online, so treat "up to 60%" as a ceiling.

Crazy About All Things Home: every store's Home Department, 5 to 25 October

This runs at SOGO Kuala Lumpur, Central i-City Shah Alam, The Mall Mid Valley Southkey JB and Mayang Mall Kuala Terengganu. Item prices are only in SOGO's downloadable e-copy, which sits behind a Cloudflare check, so we couldn't read them. SOGO's page lists no prices. It's the longest-running offer this month and the only one still on after 11 October, apart from Atome and the counter promotions.

Members-only and single-store offers

  • Supermarket Members' Special Deals, SOGO KL Lower Ground Floor Supermarket, 5 to 11 October 2026, SOGO Card members only. The poster shows Milo UHT 6 x 200ml (with its own buy 5 free 1 pack), Nestlé Koko Krunch, Cadbury Dairy Milk Chunks, Hup Seng Cream Crackers, Fab 3.3kg detergent and Ajax Fabuloso. Prices are on the shelf, not online.
  • Branded Fair, SOGO KL Ground Floor Centre Atrium, 5 to 15 October. Spend RM300 on a single receipt and you get a customised keychain. SOGO Card members get it for the whole fair; non-members get it with any storewide purchase from 12 to 15 October. This took over the atrium from the Triumph & sloggi Warehouse Sale, which ended on 4 October.
  • Braun Büffel Golden Week Privilege, SOGO KL Ground Floor, to 26 October. Spend RM1,200 for a RM100 rebate and an instant Elite upgrade (about 8% back). Existing Elite members get RM150 back on RM1,200 or RM250 back on RM1,800 (about 13% to 14%).
  • Triumph Exclusive Bargain, SOGO Central i-City Shah Alam, 1st Floor Women's Department, to 31 December. Selected bras are RM100, normal price RM189 to RM269.
  • Jom Batik on Thursday, all stores. SOGO Card members get an extra 10% off batik collections from participating brands every Thursday.

What isn't on in October

  • No extra-points day. September had 20x points on a RM500 receipt (16 September) and 10x on RM500 (18 to 20 September). Nothing like it is listed for October, so a RM500 receipt earns the standard 500 points, worth RM2.50.
  • No Members' Day, and no Early Bird Deals. The Hot Picks Early Birds ended on 16 September.
  • The lucky draws have closed. Shop & Sweep with Bank Islam ended on 30 September, Merdeka Spend & Win on 20 September and Cuti-Cuti Malaysia on 16 September.

If you're making one trip this month, go to SOGO KL before Saturday 11 October. That way you catch the anniversary prices, the 7th-floor fragrance sales and the supermarket member week together. If it's home goods you're after, you can wait until the 25th.

Thirteen days, four stores, and the one number nobody quotes

SOGO calls it thirteen days of shopping excitement, and the campaign artwork puts the dates plainly: 25 August to 6 September 2026. It ran at SOGO Kuala Lumpur, SOGO Central i-City in Shah Alam, SOGO The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey in Johor Bahru and SOGO Mayang Mall in Kuala Terengganu - the whole four-store estate, with a separate e-copy of the catalogue published for each one.

The timing was not accidental. It opened on the 25th, which is payday for most salaried Malaysians, and its second half straddled the Merdeka long weekend: Saturday 29, Sunday 30 and Merdeka Day itself on Monday 31 August 2026. The second wave of Early Bird Deals started on exactly that Monday.

The number nobody quotes is what a SOGO point is worth. SOGO's own rewards page states that you can redeem once you accumulate 2,000 points, and that 2,000 points equal RM10. That fixes a point at half a sen. Members earn 1 point per RM1 spent as standard, so the everyday rate is 0.5% back, and points expire within two years. Keep that conversion in your head, because everything below converts cleanly once you have it.

The points ladder, and the RM500 cliff

Three separate storewide offers were published for the sale, all at all four stores.

  • 5x Points on a single receipt of RM150 to RM499.99.
  • 10x Points on a single receipt of RM500 and above.
  • Double Points with a minimum daily spend of RM1,500, valid for a single receipt or accumulated same-day receipts.

Convert them and the ladder looks like this. A RM300 single receipt at 5x earns 1,500 points, which is RM7.50 - about 2.5% back. A RM500 single receipt at 10x earns 5,000 points, which is RM25 - about 5% back. A RM1,200 single receipt at 10x earns 12,000 points, which is RM60.

That produced a genuine cliff at RM500. A RM499 receipt earns 5x, or 2,495 points, worth RM12.48. Add one ringgit to reach RM500 and the multiplier doubles to 10x, or 5,000 points, worth RM25. One extra ringgit of spending is worth RM12.52 of points. If you are hovering anywhere near RM499 with two separate purchases in hand, ring them up together.

The double-points line is the one worth reading twice, because it is the only one of the three that accepts accumulated same-day receipts. The 5x and 10x tiers are both explicitly single-receipt only. So if your day at SOGO is four separate RM400 trips to four separate departments, the multiplier tiers do very little for you and the RM1,500 daily line is the one you are actually chasing. SOGO caps the tiers at 200,000 points per member per day and the double-points offer at 50,000 points per member per day, and it does not publish whether the two stack - if that matters to your basket, ask at the Customer Service Centre before you pay rather than after.

Two exclusions apply to all three: purchases from the Supermarket and from non-participating brands do not count, and members who have opted in for the Easy Payment Plan are entitled to SOGO base points only and forfeit every concurrent extra point. Paying a large purchase by instalment is therefore a direct trade - you keep your cash flow and you give up the 10x.

The RM30 beauty coupon ran on nine days, not thirteen

The Beauty Hall offer was a free RM30 coupon with every purchase of RM350 at Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru, or a minimum purchase of RM300 at Shah Alam and Kuala Terengganu, from any cosmetics and/or fragrance brand.

The dates are the part that catches people. SOGO lists them as 25, 28 to 31 August 2026 and 4 to 6 September 2026. That is nine days out of thirteen. Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 August are not coupon days, and neither are 1, 2 and 3 September. If the coupon is why you are going, those five days are wasted trips.

It has to be a single-receipt purchase at the Ground Floor Beauty Hall, and the exclusions are the usual ones with one that stings: Budget Cosmetics, Best Buy items, purchase-with-purchase items, coffret sets and purchases from tenanted counters are all out. Coffret sets are the boxed gift sets that get pushed hardest during a festive sale, so the quickest route to RM350 is frequently the one that disqualifies the receipt.

Ten Early Bird Deals, and how few of each there were

These were the real discounts, and they were gated behind a minimum purchase of RM180 in a single receipt, redeemed at the Customer Service Centre, one item per customer per day, first-come first-served, excluding tenanted counters and food and beverage outlets.

Wave one, 25 to 30 August 2026:

  • Michael Kors Sexy Amber EDP 100ml - RM134, normal price RM403. Units: 30 Kuala Lumpur, 20 Shah Alam, 10 Johor Bahru, 10 Kuala Terengganu.
  • MOSS powerbank - RM40, normal price RM119.90. Units: 40 / 20 / 20 / 10.
  • RCB Polo Club 16-inch luggage, dark grey and khaki - RM75 each, normal price RM609 each. Units: 100 / 30 / 40 / 30.
  • Monopoly Classic - RM30, normal price RM99.90. Units: 30 / 18 / 18 / 6.
  • GAABOR 3.5L air fryer, AF-35M02A - RM79, normal price RM139.90. Units: 30 / 10 / 15 / 5.

Wave two, 31 August to 6 September 2026:

  • Guy Laroche 480ml thermal flask - RM10, normal price RM39. Units: 100 / 30 / 40 / 30.
  • Nautica backpack, assorted - RM79 each, normal price RM199 each. Units: 40 / 20 / 15 / 15.
  • KIDICO scooter - RM30, normal price RM59. Units: 30 / 20 / 15 / 10.
  • Russell Taylors 1.5L multifunctional glass health pot, RK5 - RM89, normal price RM239.99. Units: 20 / 10 / 15 / 5.
  • Milux 16-inch stand fan, MSF-1653 - RM79, normal price RM178. Units: 30 / 10 / 15 / 5.

The luggage is the standout on both counts: roughly 88% off the normal price and the most plentiful item in the list. The air fryer, the health pot and the stand fan are the ones to arrive early for, with five units each at Kuala Terengganu and ten at Shah Alam. And because the limit is one item per customer per day rather than per sale, a shopper who is going to be nearby twice can legitimately take two different items on two different days.

Gifts, vouchers and the one allocation already gone

Beyond the early birds, SOGO published four more layers for the sale.

  • A 7-piece glass serving bowl set with tray, worth RM169, free for the first 500 members at Kuala Lumpur, 150 at Shah Alam, 250 at Johor Bahru and 100 at Kuala Terengganu, with a minimum purchase of RM600 in a single receipt. One gift per customer, choice of design subject to availability, tenanted counters excluded. SOGO's own listing already marks the Johor Bahru allocation as fully redeemed, which is a useful reminder of how fast these move.
  • RM20 vouchers for the first 350 (Kuala Lumpur), 140 (Shah Alam), 140 (Johor Bahru) and 70 (Kuala Terengganu) Maybank credit or charge cardmembers with a minimum spend of RM300.
  • RM20 vouchers for the first 650 (Kuala Lumpur), 260 (Shah Alam), 260 (Johor Bahru) and 130 (Kuala Terengganu) Maybank debit cardmembers, same RM300 threshold. Both voucher offers are one per cardmember, allow a maximum of two same-day receipts, exclude non-participating brands, and are redeemed at the Customer Service Centre.
  • A Members' Day Special mystery gift, redeemable at the Customer Service Counter from 25 August to 6 September 2026 simply by flashing your SOGO e-Card. There is also a set of Exclusive Purchase-With-Purchase Deals on selected reward items with a minimum spend of RM100, one item per receipt and a maximum of two gifts per member per day, excluding the Supermarket, tenanted counters and food and beverage outlets.

What SOGO ran in September (record, checked 14 September 2026)

This section is kept as a record. Everything in it has ended except the 32nd Anniversary Sale, whose current poster picks are listed above. On 14 September 2026 SOGO's sale index carried twelve campaigns, and on the right day they beat Members' Day on points.

16 September (Malaysia Day): the best single day this month

  • Extra Points Reward, all four stores, 16 September 2026 only. 5x points on a single receipt of RM150 to RM299.99, 10x on RM300 to RM499.99 and 20x on RM500 and above. Excludes the Supermarket at SOGO KL, tenanted counters and food and beverage outlets. Capped at 200,000 points per member per day, and Easy Payment Plan members get base points only.
  • Free RM30 coupon, Beauty Hall, same day. Buy RM350 of cosmetics or fragrance on a single receipt at SOGO Kuala Lumpur or SOGO Johor Bahru, or RM300 at SOGO Central i-City in Shah Alam. SOGO Mayang Mall in Kuala Terengganu isn't listed this time. It excludes the same things as before: Budget Cosmetics, Best Buy items, purchase-with-purchase items, coffret sets and tenanted counters.

Here's how that compares with Members' Day. A RM500 receipt earned 5,000 points (RM25) during Members' Day and earns 10,000 points (RM50) on 16 September, about 10% back. A RM300 receipt goes from 1,500 points (RM7.50) to 3,000 points (RM15). A RM350 fragrance receipt at SOGO KL on 16 September can earn 3,500 points (RM17.50) plus the RM30 coupon, as long as the brand takes part in the points offer. Ask at the counter before you pay.

18 to 20 September: a smaller points weekend

  • Extra points, all stores, 18 to 20 September 2026: 3x on a single receipt of RM120 to RM299.99, 5x on RM300 to RM499.99, 10x on RM500 and above. That matches the Members' Day top tier and starts lower, at RM120. A RM200 receipt earns 600 points, worth RM3.

I Am Malaysian Hot Picks and its Early Bird Deals, to 16 and 20 September

The Hot Picks campaign runs 8 to 20 September 2026 at all four stores. Its ten Exclusive Early Bird Deals run 11 to 16 September on a minimum purchase of RM150 in a single receipt, redeemed at the Customer Service Centre. That's RM30 lower than the Members' Day gate. Unit counts are for KL / Shah Alam / JB / Kuala Terengganu:

The Travel Time case is the deepest cut at about 84% off, close to the 88% on the RCB Polo Club cabin case during Members' Day. If you're at Kuala Terengganu, the hair dryer, kids' luggage and food machine have five units each, so go early. A RM150 receipt on 16 September also earns 5x points, so a Hot Picks trip on Malaysia Day gets both.

  • Bags & Shoes Flash Deals, Ground Floor Centre Atrium, 14 to 24 September 2026. Get a Hummer ladies tote bag as a purchase-with-purchase for RM49 (normal price RM79) when you spend RM200 in a single receipt.

For both, the spend has to come from that promotion's own stock. It's one item per customer per day, while stocks last.

Contests and payment offers still running

  • Merdeka Spend & Win, all stores, to 20 September 2026. Spend RM69 on a single receipt to enter for one of ten prizes of a RM690 SOGO voucher plus 69,000 points.
  • Cuti-Cuti Malaysia Contest, all stores, closes 16 September 2026. A RM150 single receipt gets you an entry. The grand prize is a RM3,000 The Westin Desaru Coast voucher plus a RM200 SOGO voucher. The terms still say "THREE (8) winners".
  • Shop & Sweep with SOGO & Bank Islam, to 30 September 2026. A RM100 single receipt earns one entry, or two for Bank Islam Card-i cardmembers. Purchases on a Bank Islam Master Card-i don't count.
  • Konsert Muzik D.R.A.S, to 30 September 2026. SOGO Card members get 10% off VIP, P1, P2 and P3 tickets with code SOGO10 (P4 is sold out), and buyers can enter a draw for five ceramic tableware sets.
  • Atome x SOGO, all stores, to 31 December 2026: RM10 off RM150 or RM40 off RM400. Atome x SOGO for Singaporeans, KL and JB only: 10% off S$100, capped at S$15.

Ended since Members' Day

  • Warehouse Deals, SOGO KL Ground Floor Centre Atrium, 4 to 13 September 2026.
  • Luxasia Clearance Sale and RCB POLO Club Hot Deals, SOGO KL 7th Floor Event Hall, 28 August to 8 September 2026.
  • National Day Price Bonanza (ended 31 August), POLO Merdeka Savings (3 September) and Fashion Hot Deals (27 August).

Who Members' Day suited, and who should wait for the next one

It suited shoppers with one big planned purchase they could put on a single receipt over RM500, where 10x worked out to about 5% back. It suited cosmetics and fragrance buyers who could spend RM350 (RM300 outside KL and JB) on one of the nine coupon days. And it suited Maybank cardholders, since the RM20 voucher cost nothing extra on a RM300 receipt. For that big-receipt shopper, 16 September 2026 was the better day, because the same RM500 receipt earned 20x. October has no points day so far, so Atome's RM40 off RM400 is the bigger lever this month.

It didn't suit supermarket runs, which are excluded from bonus points, or anyone paying by Easy Payment Plan, which cancels every bonus point. It also didn't help brands at tenanted counters or baskets under RM150. All of those exclusions still apply to the October offers.

If you are not a member yet

Membership is free and runs through the MySOGO app on the Apple App Store or Google Play. SOGO's published sign-on rewards are 400 bonus points credited straight into your account, a RM5 e-Coupon for your first RM150 purchase, and within your first 7 days a further RM20 e-Coupon after that first RM150 purchase, redeemable against RM300 of spend. Silver is the entry tier and needs a minimum of RM250 a year to auto-renew; Gold starts at RM6,000 of annual spend and adds 6,000 bonus points, four RM50 rebate vouchers, six parking rebate vouchers and VIP lounge access; Platinum starts at RM12,000 and lifts those to 9,000 bonus points and six RM50 rebate vouchers.
