Trip.com Hello Penang: 50% Hotel Codes and Buy 1 Free 1 Attraction Tickets Until 27 October
Trip.com's Hello Penang campaign with Tourism Malaysia and MyBHA runs until 27 October 2026. The page lists app-only Penang hotel codes worth up to RM120 off a two-night stay, and a second buy 1 free 1 attraction drop lands on 22 October at noon. We worked out which code wins at which price and what sells out first.
Kota Kinabalu Attraction Ticket Prices 2026: Malaysian vs Foreigner Rates at Seven Places, and Where There Is No Discount at All
We checked the admission prices of seven Kota Kinabalu attractions on their operators' own pages on 8 October 2026. Sabah Museum charges Malaysians RM2 and foreigners RM15, Mari Mari Cultural Village RM110 against RM130, and the Upside Down House in Tamparuli now charges everyone the same. None of them publishes a separate Sabahan rate.
Ipoh Attraction Ticket Prices 2026: A RM9 Castle, a RM160 Theme Park, and the Two Stops You Cannot Just Walk Into

Cameron Highlands Attraction Prices 2026: Tea Estates From RM4, Flora Park at RM50, and Mossy Forest Still Shut
Six Cameron Highlands stops with their fees and hours read off each operator's own channel on 24 September 2026. BOH's two tea gardens list no admission fee and charge RM25 to RM100 for tastings and tours, Cameron Valley Tea is RM4 to walk in or RM20 by buggy, Cameron Highlands Flora Park is RM50 an adult, and MARDI's agro park is RM5. Mossy Forest has been closed since an October 2025 landslide, and BOH shuts on Mondays.
Melaka Attraction Prices 2026: The MyKad Gap Runs From Nothing to RM51, and One Ticket Charges a Foreign Child the Full Adult Rate
Eight Melaka attractions, every rate read on the operator's own website or its own ticketing system on 20 September 2026. Zoo Melaka charges a Malaysian adult RM39.10 and a foreign adult RM90.05. Encore Melaka charges RM78 and RM158. The state museum network charges RM10 and RM20. Then there are three attractions where the gap does not exist at all: Menara Taming Sari, The Shore Sky Tower and The Shore Oceanarium publish one price for everybody. A Malaysian family of four doing the museums, the tower and the zoo pays RM216.10; the same family on foreign passports pays RM438.10.
Entopia Penang Ticket Deals 2026: Penang-Kia Tuesdays at 30% Off, 20% Off With an AirAsia Boarding Pass, and the Cheapest Way In
Entopia in Teluk Bahang lists more than 30 running discounts, most valid until 31 December 2026. Penangites pay RM45.50 instead of RM65 on Tuesdays, a recent AirAsia boarding pass takes 20% off at the counter, and foreign visitors pay RM65 online instead of RM75. Kuching Attraction Prices 2026: Sarawakians Pay Half at the Museum, the Same as KL Visitors at Every Park, and RM1 at Wind Cave
We read the official rate for eight Kuching attractions on 14 September 2026. A Sarawakian adult pays RM10 at Borneo Cultures Museum against RM20 for other Malaysians and RM50 for foreigners, but gets no local rate at any state park. Jong's Crocodile Farm raised its MyKad adult ticket to RM30 in June, and Semenggoh closes to visitors from 10am to 2pm.
Penang Attraction Prices 2026: Four of Ten Charge Malaysians Less, and Penang Bird Park's 20% Online Discount Is Locals-Only
Penang is often described as a place where locals pay less, and on four of the ten attractions we priced it is emphatically true — but two of those four are the small George Town museums that most Penang lists skip. A MyKad adult pays RM16 for a return trip on the Penang Hill funicular where a visitor pays RM40, and a MyKad senior rides the express lane for RM8 while a non-MyKad senior pays RM60 for the same seat. Penang Bird Park's own online store cuts a Malaysian adult from RM50 to RM40 and leaves the RM65 foreign ticket untouched. Wonderfood Museum charges a local adult RM20 against a foreign adult's RM30, and Dark Mansion charges a MyKad adult RM23 online against RM30 for a foreign visitor. The other six have no nationality tier at all: Entopia is RM65 for an adult whether the ticket is bought on the "MyKad Special" or the "Standard" tab, ESCAPE and Tech Dome and The TOP price by age alone, and Pinang Peranakan Mansion charges everyone RM30. 8 Things to Do in Bintulu, Sarawak 2026 — and Why the Official List Is Sixteen Years Out of Date
Bintulu is the town most travellers drive through on the way from Miri to Sibu, and the official reason to stop has not been rewritten since 19 August 2010. That is the date printed on the Bintulu Development Authority's own Places of Interest page, which still describes the nightly pasar malam as a place to buy smuggled cigarettes and liquor. Sarawak Tourism Board's Bintulu page is current but lists only five major attractions and leaves Similajau National Park — the division's best-known park — off it entirely, while its Useful Information boxes for Kidurong Tower and Tanjung Batu Beach are empty: no hours, no fee. Similajau itself is the bigger problem: Sarawak Forestry Corporation's own page for it says repair works have the park closed to visitors, and its live registration portal will not let you book a slot. So we went to the operators themselves. Taman Tumbina, the only zoo in northern Sarawak, publishes RM2.00 for an adult and RM0.50 for a child of seven and above, 9.00am to 4.30pm daily — on a website whose copyright line still reads 2004.
