One Living's Kuantan store in Sri Dagangan is clearing stock for four days only, 22 to 25 October 2026. The lighting posters list eyeball lights from RM5.50, surface downlights from RM6.80, Osram bulbs from RM6.90, vintage pendants at RM15 and chandeliers from RM399. We read every poster and priced out four real rooms.

McCafé Port Lepak: 10,000 Free Lattes in JB, Penang and Kuantan to 31 October (Updated Hours)
McDonald's Malaysia's McCafé coffee truck is giving away 10,000 free lattes for International Coffee Month. The Klang Valley stops are done; it is at Tebing Bandar Dato' Onn, Johor Bahru on 17-18 October (5pm-11pm), Hin Bus Depot, Penang on 24-25 October (10am-5pm) and East Coast Mall, Kuantan on 30-31 October (10am-10pm). Teluk Cempedak has been dropped.
Hyatt Regency Kuantan BBQ Buffet: RM142 E-Voucher Instead of RM178, Last Weekends to 31 October
Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort sells its Friday and Saturday beachfront BBQ buffet at Coals on the Beach for RM142 through its own e-store, 20% under the RM178 nett walk-in price and cheaper than the 10% Maybank card discount (RM160.20). The buffet and the voucher both end on 31 October 2026, which leaves four bookable nights: 23, 24, 30 and 31 October. The same store also has Tiger Prawn pasta and risotto at RM75, whole cakes at RM110 and F&B cash vouchers at 15-20% off.
Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan Roomtober Fest: Seafront Rooms From RM163 if You Book by 31 October
Swiss-Belhotel Kuantan is selling stays up to 7 February 2027 at a discount if you book on its own website by 31 October. We priced it on 4 October: a Studio City View was RM163 a night on the 20% prepaid rate, against RM204 on the flexible rate. The headline says up to 35%, but the deepest cut we found was 20%.

Most Kuantan itineraries are copied from each other, and most of them still send you to attractions that are currently closed. Majlis Bandaraya Kuantan runs its own tourism portal listing hours, distances and ticket prices for every stop in the district, and read carefully it says two useful things nobody repeats. First, the Sungai Lembing mine tunnel, Bukit Panorama and the Cherating Turtle Sanctuary are all listed as closed for maintenance — three of the town's postcard stops, gone from the plan. Second, the prices are not what aggregators quote: Menara Kuantan 188's own ticketing site charges a Malaysian adult RM13 for the Observation Deck from Monday to Thursday but RM23 from Friday to Sunday and on public and school holidays, against RM38 for an international visitor on any day; the Sungai Lembing museum is RM2 with children free, Gua Charas is RM2, and the state's royal weaving complex is free. The strangest number sits at Jeti Shahbandar, where two river cruises leave from the same jetty at RM99 and RM18 a head.
