Tanjong Jara Resort MATTA Residents' Package: RM799 a Night With All Meals for Two, Still Bookable After the Fair
The MATTA Fair ended on 6 September, but Tanjong Jara Resort in Dungun, Terengganu is still selling its MATTA Fair Residents' Package on its own booking engine: RM799 a night instead of RM1,299 for a Bumbung Room with breakfast, lunch and dinner for two, for stays to 31 March 2027. We priced it against the resort's other rates for October, the last month before the monsoon break.
Bukit Merah Waterpark RM23 Is Back: Salam 7 Negeri 4.0 for 7 States, 19 Oct to 19 Nov 2026
Bukit Merah Laketown Resort has replaced its northern-only Cheq Oghang Utagha 5.0 offer, which ended on 18 October, with Salam 7 Negeri 4.0: the same flat RM23 waterpark ticket for an adult or child, now open to Perak, Penang, Kedah, Perlis, Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang ID holders from 19 October to 19 November 2026. The gate price with MyKad is RM40 adult and RM30 child. It is walk-in only, ten tickets per ID card; everyone else can buy the Gempak Holiday online ticket at RM30 adult and RM25 child.
Laguna Redang Year End Promotion: RM638 a Head for 3D2N With Every Meal, Boat and Snorkelling Trip Included
Laguna Redang Island Resort has put the last four weeks of its 2026 season on a separate, cheaper rate card called the 3 Days 2 Nights Year End Promotion. Check-ins run from 7 October 2026 and the last check-out is 1 November. Two adults sharing a Standard room pay RM638 each instead of RM758, a child is a flat RM438 instead of RM638, and a Deluxe Sea twin drops RM450 a head. Buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, the return boat from Kuala Terengganu and a snorkelling trip with adult gear are all inside the price. We priced it against the resort's own regular package on 12 September 2026, room type by room type, and read the surcharge calendar and the refund clause that most people never open.

Pacific's October Great Value Promotion ended on 21 October. The new 24-page Deepavali Sale mailer runs 22 October to 11 November 2026 with Sweetkiss and Kise hampers from RM75, 10kg rice from RM29.99 and up to 80% off in the department store. A Weekend Sale and Pacific Grocer Value Promo run 22 to 25 October, and Dr.P and Drypers diapers are on promotion to 11 November. Member prices are only RM1 lower this time, and the 58th Anniversary Shop & Win winners are still unpublished.
Resorts World Kijal's RM740 Turtle Weekend: The Package Price Never Moves, the Room Rate Does — Every Remaining Friday Priced
Resorts World Kijal in Kemaman, Terengganu is selling a package called Be A Seaturtle Superhero: three days and two nights in a Premier Seaview room, daily buffet breakfast for two, and a one-time release of two baby turtles on the Saturday morning. It is RM740 nett for SkyCard or Genting Rewards members and RM800 for everyone else, and it runs Friday to Saturday until 31 October 2026. The package price is fixed at RM400 a night. The plain room-only rate for the same Premier Seaview is not. Only three Fridays are left: 16, 23 and 30 October. We re-priced all three on Genting's own booking engine on 14 October 2026, and on every one the package is the dearer buy: the bare room is RM305 a night for the 16 October weekend and RM336 for 23 and 30 October (the Saturday night alone is RM367), which puts the package RM190 or RM128 ahead over two nights. Mesra Run 2.0, its Hari Sukan Negara fun run with the state youth and sports department (JBSNT), closed registration on 30 September and runs 5km and 10km on Saturday 10 October from 6:30am; kits are collected at the mall's Sport Lobby until 6pm on 9 October. Free walk-in blood pressure, BMI and glucose checks with Klinik Kesihatan Kemaman and Hospital Kemaman run 12pm to 5pm to 10 October. The mall's 1 October drop added a Secret Recipe weekday lunch set from RM16.90 and TMC dinner sets tagged RM20 to RM30. The next drop is due 15 October. The RM350 Merdeka T-shirt ended on 8 September.
