Malaysia celebrates 7-Eleven Day on 7 November (7/11 read the local way), not on 11 July like the rest of the world. 7-Eleven's own history page says so, and this year the chain has built a full week of Buy 1 Free 1 around it. How it works at the counter
- Pick up two of the same participating item. The Instagram post spells it out: "Free item must be the same participating product."
- Pay for one. You do not need the My7E app for these shelf deals, though scanning it still earns you rewards.
- If you mix flavours (say one banana and one strawberry Binggrae), the terms say a promotion applies to the lowest-priced eligible item, so the cheaper one is the free one. Ask the cashier before you assume a mixed pair counts.
- Stocks are limited per store. Popular lines like the NongShim bowls and Binggrae milk tend to go first in office-area outlets, so go early in the week.

Worked examples
A drinks run for the office (Peninsular). Two Fanta (RM4.00), two 100 Plus (RM5.90) and two WONDA Coffee (RM6.50) come to RM16.40 for six drinks. Add two Binggrae milks on Buy 1 Free 1 and you walk out with eight.
A movie-night snack bag. Two packs of Maltesers and two of Calbee Smokey BBQ on Buy 1 Free 1 means you pay for two packs and get four. Add M&M's at 2 for RM10.00 and a Cornetto pair at RM6.00 for the freezer.
A RM6 top-up. Snickers Mini (RM1), UFC Coconut Water (RM2) and a Loacker wafer (RM3) on the Everything 1, 2, 3 shelf come to exactly RM6.
In Kota Kinabalu or Kuching. Stick to the nationwide eight: the NongShim bowls, OATSIDE Matcha, Calbee, Maltesers, Snickers Strawberry and the Delfi and Tao Kae Noi snacks. Most of the 2-for shelf prices above are marked Peninsular only, and the terms note prices may vary in East Malaysia.
Who it suits, and who should skip it
Good for students, shift workers and anyone who already stops at 7-Eleven most days, because the saving lands on things you were buying anyway. Instant noodle bowls and the protein-style drinks (OATSIDE, Betagen) are the most useful picks. Skip a special trip if your nearest store is inside an airport, bus terminal or Genting, as those are excluded. And remember a free chocolate bar is only a saving if you wanted two.
Fine print that trips people up
- Excluded stores: KLIA, KLIA2, Terminal Bersepadu Selatan, Terminal Bersepadu Gombak, Skypark Terminal, the Genting Highlands outlets and Berjaya Waterfront JB, per 7-Eleven's terms.
- No stacking: promotions cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts or vouchers.
- Region lines matter: each item carries "Peninsular Malaysia only", "Nationwide" or "selected store only". The Big Fest7 page and the poster set are the source of truth, not the shelf next to it.
- 7-Eleven can change or end any promotion without notice (clause 3 of its terms). The prices above are as listed on 6 November 2026.
