No. DELIMa and Book Capital are for students under the Ministry of Education: secondary school students, matriculation and teacher training institute students. Students at public universities, polytechnics, community colleges and private higher education institutions under the Ministry of Higher Education use MySiswaPlace, where they check eligibility with their IC and matric numbers.

Can I use Baucar Buku MADANI at a bookshop or at Big Bad Wolf?

Not at a counter. Both vouchers are online only. The school voucher can be spent only on the Book Capital platform, and Book Capital's FAQ says physical bookshops are not included. The higher education voucher can be spent only on MySiswaPlace. Some large retailers, including Big Bad Wolf and BookXcess, sell through these platforms, so you can buy their books online with the voucher.

I finished my diploma in February 2026. Do I qualify for the MySiswaPlace voucher?

No, according to the MySiswaPlace FAQ. Eligibility depends on being an active student on 31 March 2026, and students who completed their studies before that date do not qualify even if they have not attended convocation. Students on industrial training, students who entered without going through UPU, and students convocating in 2026 who were still active on 31 March do qualify.

The RM100 Baucar Buku MADANI 2026 is really two programmes. Secondary school, matriculation and teacher-training students redeem through DELIMa on Book Capital, in one transaction that must include a Special Titles book. University, polytechnic and college students use MySiswaPlace, where a generated voucher code lasts 12 days. Both close at 11.59pm on 31 October 2026. Here is who qualifies for which, step by step.

Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced the 2026 book voucher on 29 May 2026 at the opening of the 43rd Kuala Lumpur International Book Fair (PBAKL). Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh later said the Ministry of Education's share covers students from Form One to Form Six, matriculation and teacher training institutes, with a total allocation of RM210 million, redeemed online only to prevent misuse. Separately, the Ministry of Higher Education runs its own RM100 voucher for students at higher education institutions.

This guide is based on the two official FAQ pages, read on 17 September 2026: Perbadanan Kota Buku's Book Capital for DELIMa page and Yayasan Perkasa Siswa's MySiswaPlace FAQ.

Which voucher is yours

Secondary school students under KPM (including Form Six), plus matriculation and Institut Pendidikan Guru students: the KPM voucher on Book Capital, through DELIMa. Book Capital's FAQ puts the number of secondary school recipients at 2,039,257. You do not apply. Recipients are identified from the ministry's own records, and a student who has changed schools is still covered, subject to the ministry's current record.
Students at public universities, polytechnics, community colleges and private higher education institutions under KPT: the KPT voucher on MySiswaPlace.

Route 1: DELIMa and Book Capital (schools, matriculation, IPG)

Log in to DELIMa with the student's DELIMa ID and password. If the password is lost, the school's DELIMa coordinator resets it, not Book Capital.
Click "Tebus Baucar Buku MADANI 2026" on the DELIMa home page. You are signed in to Book Capital by single sign-on, and RM100 credit appears on the dashboard. Another email account cannot be used in place of DELIMa.
Pick at least one "Judul Khas" book. This is compulsory. The Special Titles shelf was screened by an evaluation committee and covers works by National Laureates, world classics, literary award winners, history, philosophy, economics, geopolitics, artificial intelligence, technology, IT and STEM. Book Capital's store also runs a separate Special Titles shelf for Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.
Add everything else to the same cart. The voucher is one-off: every book must be in a single transaction, and any unused balance is forfeited. You can pay above RM100 yourself.
Check out with the Book Voucher payment option and wait for delivery to the address you registered. Book Capital says whether delivery is free depends on the programme settings, and that timing depends on the seller and courier.

Book Capital's FAQ gives 1 July 2026 as the start date. The retailers and publishers selling on the platform state redemption runs until 31 October 2026. Physical bookshops are not part of it, so a student cannot hand over the voucher at a book fair counter.

If the RM100 is not showing, Book Capital asks you to check that you used the right DELIMa account, then open a ticket through "Help?" and "Tiket Baru". The same ticket route is how to report a voucher used without the student's knowledge.

Route 2: MySiswaPlace (universities, polytechnics, colleges)

Who qualifies. All of these must be true, according to the MySiswaPlace FAQ:

You are a Malaysian citizen studying in Malaysia (students overseas are excluded).
You were an active student on 31 March 2026.
You are studying at certificate, foundation, diploma, postgraduate diploma, bachelor's, master's or PhD level, or a recognised professional course at diploma level or above.
Your institution is under KPT: a public university, polytechnic, community college or private higher education institution.
Full-time or part-time both count.

The FAQ also settles the edge cases. Students on industrial training or work-based learning qualify. Students who entered without going through UPU qualify. Students convocating in 2026 qualify if they were still active on 31 March. Students who finished before 31 March but have not convocated do not, and neither do students whose studies were deferred on that date.

How to redeem, step by step:

Register on mysiswaplace.my with an email address. A security code is sent to it, so you cannot log in without email.
Check eligibility with your IC number and matric number. If you qualify, the RM100 is stored on the platform in your name.
Shop the listed sellers. The seller list on MySiswaPlace runs from university presses to large retailers such as MPH, Popular, BookXcess and Big Bad Wolf. The RM100 is for books and academic reading material only. Stationery is not covered, and the checkout separates what the voucher pays for from what you pay.
Mind the 12-day window. A generated voucher code is valid for 7 days, with a 5-day grace period, so 12 days in total. If you do not complete the purchase inside it, the value is cancelled automatically.
Pay any excess by FPX or e-wallet. The RM100 must also cover delivery and packaging, so a RM100 book with shipping will cost you more than nothing.

The deadline is 11.59pm, 31 October 2026. Counting back 12 days from 31 October gives 19 October: generate your code after that and you have less than the full window. The FAQ does not say whether a late code is extended past the programme close, so treat 31 October as the hard stop.

If you believe you qualify but your name is not listed, MySiswaPlace sends you to your institution's Student Affairs office (HEP). For problems redeeming, it offers live chat on the site and its helpdesk.

Getting the most out of RM100

On Book Capital, build the whole cart before paying. A single RM25 Special Titles book checked out alone loses the other RM75.
On MySiswaPlace, do not generate the code until your cart is ready. The 12-day clock starts at generation, not at login.
Price delivery in. On MySiswaPlace it comes out of the RM100. On Book Capital it depends on the seller and programme settings.
Keep the confirmation. Both platforms track orders in your account, and Book Capital's invoices carry the courier's tracking number.
