> Quick view: Family Store's Negeri Sembilan supermarkets are now on a Happy Deepavali flyer, valid 20 October to 5 November 2026 at every branch in the state. It is four pages again, twice the size of the 7-18 October Jualan Hebat round. Kilo-priced fresh food sits on two weekend windows, 23-25 October and 30 October to 1 November, with carrots at RM1 a kilo and mutton at RM29.90. Separately, a new branch in Bandar Senawang opened on 17 October and runs its own opening flyer to 30 October.

What replaced Jualan Hebat

The 7-18 October round, Jualan Hebat, ended on Sunday 18 October. Family Store posted the next one on its own website on Monday 19 October 2026, under the title October Special Promotion, dated 20 October to 5 November 2026. The front page carries the usual line "Promosi sah untuk semua cawangan di Negeri Sembilan".

That means the same flyer prices at the 11 branches on the chain's store-locations page: Rasah Jaya, Ampangan, Seremban 2, Sikamat, Taman Tuanku Jaafar, Senawang (Taman Desa Anggerik), Port Dickson (Teluk Kemang), Bukit Galena, Templer, Rembau Sentral and Rasah Kemayan. The printed line covers "all branches in Negeri Sembilan", so it should also apply at the new Bandar Senawang store, which has its own extra flyer on top (see below).

Three things changed in shape:

  • Four pages, not two. One page of weekend fresh windows (20 lines), one of household goods (28 lines), and two of pantry, frozen, snacks and drinks (24 lines each). That is close to 100 priced lines.
  • No gap day this time. We expected 19 October to have no state-wide price, and it did: Jualan Hebat ended on the 18th and this round started on the 20th. The new round runs 17 days, three days longer than usual, so it ends on Thursday 5 November.
  • A Deepavali pantry. Babas curry powder, muruku flour, Cap Gajah parboiled rice and plastic cookie jars are all on the flyer, priced for festive cooking and baking.

Every price below is read straight off the chain's own flyer at print resolution.

Window 1: Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October

Ten lines, valid these three days only:

  • Ikan bawal emas (golden pomfret), 1 fish, RM5.90
  • Ayam bahagian dada (chicken breast), RM8.90/kg
  • Anggur hitam tanpa biji (seedless black grapes), about 500g, RM6.90
  • Jasmine La Sella basmathi rice, 5kg, RM27.69
  • Gold Coin kopi & teh tarik krimer manis, 2.5kg, RM11.99
  • Lobak merah (carrot), RM1.00/kg
  • Halia tua (mature ginger), RM4.90/kg
  • Cili akar merah (red bird's eye chilli), RM7.90/kg
  • Downy fabric softener refill, 1.35L to 1.5L, RM12.99
  • Daia detergent powder, 2.1kg to 2.3kg, RM10.99

A worked basket: a kilo each of chicken breast, carrot, ginger and red bird's eye chilli plus one golden pomfret comes to RM28.60 (8.90 + 1.00 + 4.90 + 7.90 + 5.90).

Two of these prices started at a couple of branches. Carrots at RM1 a kilo and Downy refill at RM12.99 were on the Sikamat and Rembau Promosi Hebat posters from 6 to 11 October. Two weeks later both are on the state-wide flyer. Red chilli did the same in September, so watch the branch-only posters for prices that may come to every branch.

Window 2: Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November

Ten more lines. This is the Deepavali-cooking weekend:

  • Udang besar (large prawns), RM27.90/kg
  • Daging kambing (mutton), RM29.90/kg
  • Talapia merah (red tilapia), RM9.90/kg
  • Anggur merah tanpa biji (seedless red grapes), about 500g, RM4.90
  • Jasmine Sawah Mas rice, 10kg, RM27.69
  • Tomato, RM1.90/kg
  • Terung kecil (small brinjal), RM3.90/kg
  • Bawang besar (big onions), about 1.5kg bag, RM2.99
  • Toman detergent powder, 5kg, RM11.59
  • Daia Smart liquid detergent, 3.2kg, RM13.99

A worked basket for a mutton curry: a kilo of mutton, a kilo each of tomato and brinjal and a bag of onions comes to RM38.69 (29.90 + 1.90 + 3.90 + 2.99). Add a 250g Babas curry powder from the full-run page (RM5.49) and it is RM44.18.

The 10kg Sawah Mas at RM27.69 works out to about RM2.77 a kilo. The full-run Saga 10kg (RM27.99) is 30 sen more and runs the whole 17 days. So you don't need to wait for this weekend just for rice.

Some lines are dearer than last round. Mi kuning was 99 sen for 450g (Laksamana, 16-18 October) and is now RM1.39 (Juara). Evaporated creamer was RM2.49 (Gold Coin) and is now RM2.79 (Marigold). The 99-sen noodles are gone.

New branch: Family Store Bandar Senawang, 17 to 30 October

Family Store opened a new store at No. 5-14, Jalan 1, Taman Bandar Senawang, 70450 Seremban on Saturday 17 October 2026, trading 8.30am to 10pm. This is a different shop from the older Senawang branch at Taman Desa Anggerik. The chain posted an eight-page "Promosi Pembukaan" flyer for it on its website on 14 October. The store-locations page still lists only the original 11 branches.

The opening-weekend lines (17-18 October) have ended. These are still to come:

  • 17 to 23 October: two pages of pantry, frozen and household lines, including watermelon at 90 sen a kilo, Gold Coin kopi & teh tarik krimer manis 2.5kg at RM10.99, Ecobrown's Sella Cream rice 5kg at RM28.99 and Adabi meat or fish curry powder 250g at RM4.59.
  • 24 and 25 October only, fresh: carrot RM1.00/kg, tomato RM1.00/kg, sardines RM4.80/kg, red bird's eye chilli RM5.80/kg, chicken thigh RM8.80/kg, ikan mambong RM9.80/kg, black pomfret RM15.80/kg, broccoli RM1.80 each, 30 grade C eggs RM7.88, Milo 900g RM14.88, Koko coconut cream 200g 88 sen.
  • 24 to 30 October: two pages of toiletries and household goods, from Labour dishwash 800ml at RM1.89 to a Think Top gas stove at RM39.99.

On 24-25 October Bandar Senawang beats the state-wide flyer on several lines. Tomato is RM1.00/kg against RM1.90 (the state-wide price is 30 October to 1 November). Red bird's eye chilli is RM5.80/kg against RM7.90 state-wide on 23-25 October. Carrots are RM1 a kilo at both. To 23 October, the same 2.5kg Gold Coin creamer is RM10.99 at Bandar Senawang, RM1 below the state-wide RM11.99 on 23-25 October. If you live in Senawang, the new store is the cheaper fresh stop that weekend.

The opening flyer caps purchases at 3 units per family, while stocks last.

Is the Deepavali flyer worth a trip?

Go on 23-25 October for everyday cooking: chicken breast, carrots, ginger and the cheap golden pomfret.

Go on 30 October to 1 November if you are cooking for Deepavali. Mutton at RM29.90 a kilo, prawns at RM27.90 and cheap onions, tomatoes and brinjal are on together.

Any day to 5 November is fine for curry powder, muruku flour, parboiled rice, cookie jars and drinks for visitors.

Skip it if you want the cheapest noodles or creamer. Last round's 99-sen mi kuning and RM2.49 creamer have not come back.

The fine print

  • Caps. The windows page reads "terhad kepada 3 unit / 3 kg setiap keluarga (sementara stok masih ada)", per family, not per day. The other pages carry "sementara stok masih ada" only.
  • Prices disclaimed at print time. Every page reads "semua harga dan maklumat disahkan betul pada masa percetakan tetapi tertakluk pada perubahan tanpa sebarang notis".
  • The file name says Senawang again. The flyer is uploaded as a "Senawang handbill", but the printed line says it is valid at all Negeri Sembilan branches. We go by the printed line.
  • Bandar Senawang RM1 Happy Hour was opening-weekend only. It needed a RM100 receipt and a coupon, one unit per family, and ran on 17 and 18 October.
  • Publisher: Sikamat Family Store Sdn Bhd (381202-A), Taman Desa Kiara, Seremban, per the footer.
  • Hours: the original branches trade 8.30am to 10pm, except Rasah Jaya, which closes at 9.30pm, per the chain's store-locations page.

What comes next

Since July, Family Store has posted two rounds a month: one covering roughly the 7th to the 18th and one covering the 20th to the 5th. This round followed that pattern, and the 19 October post came a day before the round started. If it holds, the next round should cover about 7 to 18 November. That would include Deepavali on Sunday 8 November, so expect the festive fresh lines then, not in this flyer. This is our reading of the chain's posting history, not a published schedule.

How the earlier October round went

For the record: Jualan Hebat ran 7 to 18 October 2026 on two pages. Fresh was on two weekends, 9-11 October (cabbage RM0.90/kg, chicken rib cut RM4.90/kg) and 16-18 October (enoki 100g 29 sen, Laksamana mi kuning 99 sen). Sikamat and Rembau also had four Promosi Hebat posters from 6 to 11 October (carrots RM1/kg, lemons five for RM3.39). All of those prices have ended.
