> Quick view: Malaysians can buy two Genting SkyWorlds tickets for RM126 or two Skytropolis passes for RM100 until 9 November 2026, then use them on any open day from 16 November to 31 December. The saving against the normal online price is RM25 a head at SkyWorlds and at least RM20 a head at Skytropolis, so it pays only if you are sure you will go.
What each ticket costs, and what it replaces
All figures below are from Resorts World Genting's offer page, its booking portal and the parks' own rate cards, read on 3 November.
At Genting SkyWorlds, a Malaysian adult or anyone above 110cm pays:
- Jom Pergi set: RM63 each, with three Virtual Queue Reservations
- Normal online rate, bought at least a day ahead: RM88, also with three reservations
- Walk-in or same-day: RM168, with an RM10 food or retail e-voucher
At Skytropolis, adults and children pay the same:
- Jom Pergi set: RM50 each
- Normal online rate: from RM70
- Walk-in: RM90
The honest comparison is the online rate, since nobody organised enough to read this pays RM168 at the gate. That makes the SkyWorlds set worth RM50 per pair, not the RM210 the walk-in price suggests.
Check your height before you buy
SkyWorlds prices by height, and the portal labels this set "Standard (above 110cm)". The park's ticket definitions are:
- Below 90cm: free
- 90cm to 110cm (Child): RM38 online
- Aged 60 and above, or with a disability certificate: RM38 online
- Above 110cm (Standard): RM63 in this set, RM88 otherwise
So RM63 is the worse price for a small child, a grandparent or a guest with disabilities. Skytropolis has no such split. Its page states that adults and children pay the same, which makes RM50 a real saving for children there, subject to each ride's height limit.
Worked examples
- Couple, SkyWorlds only: RM126, against RM176 online. You save RM50.
- Couple, both parks in one day: RM226, against at least RM316 online. SkyWorlds runs 10am to 6pm, and Skytropolis stays open until 9pm (10pm on Saturdays), so a single day can cover both if you pace it.
- Four above 110cm, SkyWorlds: two sets, RM252, against RM352 online. You save RM100.
- Two adults, a 100cm child and an 85cm toddler, SkyWorlds: one set plus one RM38 child ticket is RM164, and the toddler is free. Without the set it is RM214.
- Three adults, SkyWorlds: one set plus one RM88 ticket is RM214. A second set costs RM252 and strands a ticket you are not allowed to resell.
- Family of four, Skytropolis: two sets, RM200, against at least RM280 online.
The room offer and the ticket offer barely overlap
Rooms must be booked by 9 November and stayed in from 3 to 15 November. Tickets only start on 16 November. A single trip can use both offers on just one night: check in on Sunday 15 November and go to the park on Monday 16 November.
That night happens to be the cheapest at Awana. Without a Genting Rewards login, the booking portal's calendar showed these room-only rates on 3 November:
- Resorts World Awana, Superior Deluxe: RM197 on most nights, RM242 on 7 and 8 November, RM157 on 15 November
- Genting SkyWorlds Hotel, Quads: RM225 on 3-5 and 10-12 November, RM351 on 9 November, RM242 on 15 November, and no rate at all on 6, 7, 8, 13 or 14 November
The offer page says "from RM155" and "from RM201". We did not see those figures as a non-member and could not test a member login. The 15 November plans then cost:
- Couple at Awana: RM157 room plus RM126 tickets is RM283. Add RM38 for two standard Awana SkyWay returns if you ride up from the hotel.
- Couple at SkyWorlds Hotel: RM242 plus RM126 is RM368.
- Four above 110cm at SkyWorlds Hotel: RM242 plus RM252 is RM494.
For comparison, the standing Theme Park Room Combo, with a room and two tickets, was listed from RM475 at Awana and RM497 at SkyWorlds Hotel for non-members. The combo is dearer but is not tied to this one night. Who it suits, and who should skip it
Good for: Malaysians with firm plans for late November or the December school holidays, couples and groups in even numbers, and families with children heading to Skytropolis. The terms list no blackout dates beyond park closures.
Skip it if any of these apply:
- You are a Pahang citizen. The walk-in Pahang rate is RM38 at SkyWorlds, and RM54 at Skytropolis is only RM4 more than this set, with no commitment.
- You hold a Kad Pekerja MADANI. Its RM65 counter price is just RM2 above this set, and you buy on the day.
- Your dates are uncertain. An unused voucher is simply lost.
Fine print that trips people up
- Physical MyKad required. The portal says Malaysian rates are for citizens with a Malaysian identification card, checked before entry. A wrong ticket means topping up to the walk-in rate.
- Non-Malaysians have their own sets: RM240 for two at SkyWorlds, listed with an RM10 retail voucher, and RM130 for two at Skytropolis.
- Tuesdays. SkyWorlds closes every Tuesday except on public and school holidays. That points to 17 and 24 November and 1 December being shut, since the year-end break starts on 4 December for Group A and 5 December for Group B. The park's published Tuesday calendar stops at July 2026, so confirm with Guest Services on +603-6105 9829 during park hours.
- Rides can be out. On 3 November, Skytropolis listed The Bolt and Super Glider as temporarily unavailable. Check the park page before you go.
- Limits and validity. Maximum five sets per email address per park. The QR code email is your ticket and a lost code is not replaced. No extensions after 31 December.
- Rooms are harder to change than tickets. Full prepayment, with no refunds, no date or room changes, and blackout dates may apply.
How to buy
- Open the offer page and scroll to Exciting Theme Park Admissions.
- Press Book Now in the MY column for the park you want.
- Check the portal shows the Jom Pergi item at 126.00 or 100.00 MYR, then pay.
- Keep the confirmation email with the QR code, and bring your MyKad on the day.
The page gives no closing time for 9 November, so do not leave it to that night.
