> Quick view: from Saturday 24 to Friday 30 October 2026, Sushi King members in West Malaysia pay RM3.50 a plate for more than 40 conveyor-belt items, with new Angus beef yakiniku plates in the mix. Every 10 plates in one bill earns an app spin, and you leave with an RM10 voucher for 1-20 November. It is dine-in only, capped at 45 minutes, and RM3.50 is before service charge and tax.
Bonanza is Sushi King's flat-price plate event, and regulars know it as a weekday lunch sprint. This edition, timed for the October payday, runs seven straight days from a Saturday, so it is the first time you can bring the whole family on a weekend. If you are in Sabah or Sarawak, Bonanza does not apply to you: East Malaysia has its own RM1.90 single-piece sushi days on 27-28 October instead.
How it works, step by step
- Get the Sushi King app and sign up. Membership is free. Bonanza is a members' promotion, and one member can bring up to three non-members, so a table of four needs only one phone with the app.
- Walk in. Reservations are not accepted for Bonanza. Go to a full Sushi King restaurant, not a Sushi King Kiosk, which has no conveyor belt and is excluded.
- Eat within 45 minutes. Each dining session is capped at 45 minutes. Take only what you will finish, because leftovers are charged at the normal price.
- Show your member QR code at the counter when you pay. Spins are credited automatically, one for every 10 plates of RM3.50 kaiten items or Bonanza specials in that single bill. Drinks do not count towards the 10.
- Spin by 31 October. Open the app and use every spin before 31 October 2026, or it is forfeited.
- Look for the RM10 voucher in your app after your Bonanza meal. It works from 1 to 20 November.
What is on the belt
Sushi King says there are more than 40 conveyor-belt favourites, covering sushi, rice bowls and desserts. The new headliners are Beef Yakiniku (Angus Beef) and Spicy Beef Yakiniku (Angus Beef) sushi, plus a Yakiniku Don (Angus Beef) with Angus striploin over rice, served classic or with mayo, spicy sauce or cheese sauce. The brand says these Angus items are only available during the campaign. Its campaign visual says all plates are RM3.50; if a dish arrives on an unfamiliar plate, ask the crew before you take it.
What a meal really costs
The RM3.50 excludes the 10% service charge and 6% service tax, which adds about 16.6% to the bill. Working from that:
- Solo lunch, 6 plates: RM21.00 becomes about RM24.49. No spin, because you need 10 plates.
- Two people, 20 plates on one bill: RM70.00 becomes about RM81.62, or roughly RM40.81 each, and earns 2 spins.
- Family of four (one member, three guests), 32 plates: RM112.00 becomes about RM130.59 and earns 3 spins. The two spare plates do not carry over.
Put the whole table on one bill. Splitting 20 plates into two bills of 10 still earns 2 spins, but splitting 18 plates into 9 and 9 earns none.
What the spins can win
Sushi King says every spin wins something. Prizes include Smile Points (10,000 points worth RM500 for 5 winners, 6,000 points worth RM300 for 5, 4,000 points worth RM200 for 5), a free Chicken Katsu Don, California Temaki or Shizuoka Cha, and 50% off vouchers for Original Karaage, Spicy Karaage, Ebi Ten (Ippin) or Ten Don. Prizes are valid until 31 December 2026, dine-in only, and you can redeem up to two rewards in one bill.
Who it is good for, and who should skip it
It suits fast eaters, groups of up to four with one member among them, and anyone who already orders 8 to 10 plates on a normal visit. Skip it if you want a slow dinner (the 45-minute cap is strict), if you only eat at a kiosk, if you want takeaway, or if your group is five or more and only one person has the app.
The fine print that trips people up
- No Smile Points are earned or redeemed on Bonanza items, only on normal-price items in the same bill.
- Bonanza cannot be combined with other discounts or vouchers, except Sushi King Cash Vouchers and Sushi King Fan Club Vouchers.
- The RM10 voucher needs a minimum RM70 spend before service charge and tax, on a dine-in bill between 1 and 20 November. It is one per member for the whole campaign.
- Sushi King can change the terms without notice. Check the official Bonanza page before you go.
