> Quick view: 99 Speedmart posted a 61-card Deepavali catalogue to its own website on 20 October 2026. Every card is stamped "Promosi ini akan berakhir pada 09 November 2026", which is the day after Deepavali (Sunday 8 November). It is for Peninsular Malaysia only, while stocks last. The festive-kitchen lines lead: QBB Pure Ghee 400g RM26.90, Kashmir Faiza Basmathi 5kg RM26.90, Sri Mutiara Beras Rebus 10kg RM35.95 and Baba's curry powder 250g RM5.49. Two smaller sets run alongside it: 21 cards to 29 October and a 4 for RM10 biscuit-and-drinks set to 5 November. The 21-card pantry set this page covered until now (Jasmine rice 10kg RM27.50, MamyPoko RM26.95) ended on 14 October.
What changed since our last check
On 28 September this page tracked a 21-card set ending 14 October, and the website carousel was empty at the time. Checked again on 20 October 2026:
- The 14 October cards are gone. 99 Speedmart deletes expired cards from its site, so those prices can no longer be checked against the source
- The website now lists 86 live cards in three sets, all posted to the chain's own promotion list. The newest 61 went up on the afternoon of 20 October
- The store locator now lists 3,262 outlets, up from 3,224 on 28 September
The Deepavali set: 61 cards to 9 November
Prices are per unit as carded. "Satu Pek" is a pack, "Satu Beg" a bag, "Satu Botol" a bottle, "Satu Tin" a tin, "Satu Kotak" a box, and "Each Carton" means a full carton.

4 for RM10 (cards posted 6 October, website end date 5 November). Four cards, each "4 = RM10": Hwa Tai Classic Marie biscuits 270g, Yeo's 1 litre (lychee, soy milk or chrysanthemum tea), Apollo chocolate cream wafers 12 x 11g, and Onwards Ultra Soft facial tissue 3 x 50s. That is RM2.50 a unit. These cards don't print an end date, so the date is the one in the website's card link. The cards also don't say whether you can mix across the four products, so ask at the till.
Per-unit maths worth doing
- Basmati: Kashmir Faiza at RM5.38 a kilo is not the same rice as Sri Mutiara parboiled at about RM3.60. Buy the basmati for biryani and the parboiled rice for everyday meals
- Diapers: Huggies is one price for every size, so M50 works out to 53 sen a piece and XXL28 to about 95 sen. The bigger the size, the weaker the deal
- Soft drinks: Fanta works out cheapest per litre at about RM1.59, ahead of Coca-Cola at about RM1.77 and F&N at about RM1.97
- Beer: per can, Skol is about RM5.98, Tiger RM6.65 and Guinness RM6.95. In September's Merdeka catalogue, the same Guinness carton was RM165.90 in Peninsular Malaysia, so this is not a deeper cut
- Chocolates: Ferrero Rocher works out to about RM1.81 a piece, and Kinder Bueno to about RM3.10 a twin pack
How it compares with Giant's Deepavali flyer
Giant's Promosi Hebat Deepavali flyer runs to 28 October and carries four of the same items. On all four, the 99 Speedmart card is lower:
- QBB Pure Ghee 400g: RM26.90 at 99 Speedmart, RM32.39 at Giant, a difference of RM5.49
- Baba's curry powder 250g: RM5.49, against RM5.65
- Baba's muruku flour 500g: RM5.90, against RM6.19
- Blue Key self-raising flour 1kg: RM4.15, against RM4.79

Worked examples
A Deepavali kitchen run: Kashmir basmathi 5kg (RM26.90), QBB ghee 400g (RM26.90), Baba's curry powder (RM5.49), Baba's muruku flour (RM5.90), Ayam Brand santan 1 litre (RM11.29) and Krisanya atta 3kg (RM9.99). That comes to RM86.47.
Open-house drinks: four Coca-Cola 1.75 litres (RM12.36), four F&N 1.5 litres (RM11.80), two Fuze Tea 1.5 litres (RM7.58) and one F&N rose cordial 2 litres (RM10.49). That comes to RM42.23.
A household restock: Kleenex 20 rolls (RM22.99), Top detergent 3.6kg (RM21.90), Glo 800ml (RM4.90) and a Huggies M50 pack (RM26.50). That comes to RM76.29.
No card carries a minimum spend or a bundle condition, apart from the 4 for RM10 cards and the 3M buy 2 free 1. Any single item rings up at the carded price.
Who this suits, and who should skip it
Worth a trip if you are cooking for Deepavali and want ghee, basmati, atta and curry powder in one stop, or if you are buying drinks by the case for an open house. The ghee price is the standout.
Skip it if you are in Sabah or Sarawak. Every card says "Hanya di Semenanjung Malaysia". East Malaysia gets its own set on the 99 Speedmart – East Malaysia Facebook page, and in past cycles its prices differed in both directions. We did not check that page this time.
Don't expect bargains on repeat items. Lay's 170g at RM10.90 and Lipton Yellow Label 100s at RM11.99 are the same prices as on the 14 October set. Cards print only the promo price, so check your last receipt.
The fine print
- Deepavali set: valid until Monday 9 November 2026, while stocks last, Peninsular Malaysia only
- Beer cards: "Non-Halal. Only available at selected outlets in Peninsular Malaysia." Not every branch stocks them
- No membership, app or code. The price applies at the till
- Where a card lists variants, such as flavours or diaper sizes, only those variants are included
- Pictures on the cards are for illustration only

- Open the "In-store promotion and offers" carousel on 99speedmart.com.my. Each card's link ends with its end date as eight digits in day-month-year order. A Deepavali card ends "09112026", for example
- When the carousel is empty, check 99 Speedmart's West Malaysia Facebook page. New sets have sometimes appeared there first
- In Sabah or Sarawak, use the East Malaysia Facebook page
