> Quick view: the 75-card 69th Merdeka & 39th Anniversary catalogue that this page used to list has ended — every card in it was stamped 17 September 2026. Checked again on 19 September 2026, 99 Speedmart's own promotion carousel is down to one card: Cadbury Dairy Milk Chunks Neapolitan Jar 382g at RM19.90, running to 27 September 2026, Peninsular Malaysia only. The bigger correction is further down: East Malaysia was never simply excluded.
What is actually live right now
One card. We counted the slides in the "In-store promotion and offers" carousel on the front page of 99speedmart.com.my on 19 September 2026, and the carousel held a single item.
Cadbury Dairy Milk Chunks Neapolitan Jar (382g) — RM19.90 per unit
- The card is stamped *"Promosi ini akan berakhir pada 27 September 2026."*
- It carries the same three-line footer as every other 99 Speedmart card: *"Sementara stok masih ada. Hanya di Semenanjung Malaysia. Gambar hanya sekadar ilustrasi."* — while stocks last, Peninsular Malaysia only, images for illustration
- It was published on 3 September 2026, so it ran alongside the Merdeka catalogue and simply outlived it by ten days
- Its own page sits at 99speedmart.com.my/promotion/cadbury-dairy-milk-chunks-neap-jar-27092026
That is the whole of 99 Speedmart's published promotion this week. If you arrived here from a search expecting a catalogue of grocery prices, there is not one running.
The Merdeka catalogue has ended — here is the price level it set
Those prices are dead, but they are the most recent benchmark the chain has published, and they are worth knowing before you decide whether to buy now or wait for the next cycle. Cards we recorded from the chain's own channels, all stamped 17 September 2026:
- Abbott Glucerna Susu Tepung (800g, Vanila) — RM129.90 a tin
- Lot 100 Gula Kenyal (130g, Mangga or Blackcurrant) — RM3.89 a pack
- Vinda Deluxe Tisu Muka (4 x 110s) — RM8.99 a pack
- Vinda Deluxe Kitchen Towel (3 x 80s) — RM7.88 a pack
- Jasmine Super 5 Import Spesial (10kg) — RM32.90 a bag, against the RM49.00 printed on the bag itself
- Jasmine Sunwhite Beras Wangi (10kg) — RM57.90 a bag
- Coca-Cola Rasa Asli, carton of 24 x 320ml tins — RM29.90
Treat every figure above as a historical reference, not a price you can walk in and pay today.
The correction: East Malaysia was never just excluded
An earlier version of this article said that because every card reads *"Hanya di Semenanjung Malaysia"*, Sabah and Sarawak shoppers were left out and had to rely on in-store signage. That was wrong, and the fix is more interesting than the error.
99 Speedmart ran the same 69th Merdeka & 39th Anniversary campaign in East Malaysia, on its separate 99 Speedmart – East Malaysia Facebook page, with cards in the same house style but stamped *"Hanya di Sabah dan Sarawak"* and carrying different prices. We viewed those cards on 19 September 2026.
The prices do not move in one direction. On snacks East Malaysia paid more, which is what most people expect. On beer by the carton it paid substantially less. So the useful rule is not "East Malaysia is dearer" — it is "East Malaysia is priced separately, so check the East Malaysia page rather than assuming the West Malaysia figure applies".
One practical note on the beer cards: they are marked *Non-Halal* and *"Promosi sah di cawangan yang terpilih"* — valid at selected branches only, not chain-wide.
Jualan Rahmah: the other 99 Speedmart price event, and it is in Sabah
Separate from the catalogue, 99 Speedmart hosts Jualan Rahmah MADANI pop-ups — the federal Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living programme that sells staples below normal retail for a weekend at a fixed location.
The most recent one we can document ran at 99 Speedmart Benoni Commercial Centre, Lot 11 & 12, Block A1, Ground Floor, Jalan Papar Baru, 89600 Papar, Sabah, on 12 and 13 September 2026, 9.00am to 10.00pm. Sample prices off the official poster, with the normal price alongside:
- Nutri Plus / Deli Fresh eggs, 30 pieces (Grade C) — RM10.50, normally RM14.99, limit 1 unit
- QL Omega eggs, size M, 30 pieces — RM14.00, normally RM19.80, limit 1 unit
- Wiya Sardine or Mackerel in tomato sauce (155g) — RM1.30, normally RM1.75, limit 3
- Maggi Cukup Rasa (300g) — RM5.50, normally RM7.30, limit 3
- Ajinomoto Penambah Perisa (1kg) — RM10.50, normally RM14.60, limit 3
- Cap Sauh Tepung Gandum (1kg) — RM2.40, normally RM3.20, limit 3
That event has passed, but the format repeats and the per-customer caps are the point: these are two-day, one-branch events with strict quantity limits, announced on the East Malaysia page only. If you are in Sabah or Sarawak, that page is worth following for its own sake.
How to check 99 Speedmart's promotion yourself in twenty seconds
There is no PDF, no e-flyer and no download. The carousel is the catalogue, which is why deal aggregators republish screenshots rather than linking to it.
- Open 99speedmart.com.my and scroll to "In-store promotion and offers". Whatever is in that carousel is what is running in Peninsular Malaysia
- Each card links to its own page, and the page address ends with the expiry date as eight digits, DDMMYYYY. The live card's address ends 27092026, so it stops on 27 September 2026 — you can read the end date off the link without opening anything
- For Sabah and Sarawak, go to the 99 Speedmart – East Malaysia Facebook page instead. The website carousel does not cover you
- The chain also links a West Malaysia Facebook page from the same homepage section
What is new on the shelves
Below the promotion carousel the homepage runs a second section, "Explore what's new in-store", flagged *(Only in West Malaysia)*. On 19 September 2026 it listed 40 products. Recent additions include Cadbury Dairy Milk Coklat Lotus Biscoff 130g, Wall's Cornetto Matcha Strawberry 110ml, Kopiko Macchiato 3-in-1, Maggi Hot Mealz Mi Goreng Kari Kaw 95g, the Jacker Kerepek Kentang range, Glad2Glow facial washes and lip serums, the Anakku and Bababa baby lines, Midea LED bulbs and a set of Octo-branded toys.
Worth being clear about: these are new-product listings, not offers. The cards are plain packshots and carry no prices at all — not a promotional price, not a normal price. They tell you what has landed on the shelf, nothing more.
The store network, checked today
99 Speedmart's own store locator listed 3,224 outlets on 19 September 2026, up from the 3,217 we counted on 1 September — seven more in eighteen days. Of those, seven carry opening dates that are still in the future:
- 20 September 2026 — Taman Bukit Setia (Negeri Sembilan) and Bandar Tasik Puteri 3 (Selangor)
- 26 September 2026 — N-City (Kedah), Southbay Plaza (Penang) and Bangunan Kedai SEDC, Kemasik (Terengganu)
- 27 September 2026 — Sambanthan Seri Andalas (Klang, Selangor) and Simpang Batu, Taiping (Perak)
When the next promotion should land
The chain does not publish a calendar, so this is pattern-reading rather than an announcement. Looking at the end dates 99 Speedmart has actually used across 2026 — 13 July, 12 August, 27 August, 17 September and now 27 September — the cycle runs roughly two to four weeks, and a new set has consistently gone up within days of the last one closing.
The Merdeka round was the exception: it was stretched to straddle both national days, Merdeka on 31 August and Malaysia Day on 16 September, and closed the day after the second. With that over, expect the next cards on or shortly after 27 September 2026, when the Cadbury jar stops.
Who this is useful for, and who should skip it
Come back on 28 September if you are pricing household staples and can wait a week — that is when a fresh set is most likely. Buy the Cadbury jar now only if you actually want 382g of Dairy Milk Chunks; at RM19.90 it is a reasonable jar price, but it is one confectionery line, not a grocery shop.
Skip this entirely if you are in Sabah or Sarawak — nothing on the website applies to you, and the East Malaysia Facebook page is your only real source. Skip it too if you are hunting rice, oil or cooking staples right now: none are carded this week, and the Merdeka rice prices are gone.
Two things that have not changed, and are the reason 99 Speedmart prices are easy to act on: there is no membership scheme, no app and no promo code. The promotional price is loaded against the barcode and applies automatically at the till.
