> Update, 25 August 2026: this sale has ended. AEON's "4 Days of Unbeatable Offers" closed with the Melaka stores on Monday 24 August, and the catalogue prices below are no longer live. They are kept here as a record of what AEON actually charged, which is what makes the next one readable when it lands. What is still on: AEON Weekend Special Deals run to 25 August, and AEON Thank You Day falls on Saturday 29 August — both cover the Melaka stores, and both are set out in full under "After Monday: what is still running at AEON" below.

> Quick view: AEON ran "4 Days of Unbeatable Offers" from 21 to 24 August 2026 at two Melaka stores only — AEON Bandaraya Melaka and AEON Melaka (Ayer Keroh) — timed to the Melaka Governor's Birthday long weekend. AEON prints the normal price beside most offers, so the savings are checkable. The deepest cuts are on fresh fish, TVs and three member-only electricals; a handful of lines are barely discounts at all.

A sale for one state, on one state's holiday

Most AEON promotions are national. This one is not. AEON's own catalogue for it names exactly two stores in its masthead — AEON Bandaraya Melaka and AEON Melaka (Ayer Keroh) — and the campaign artwork AEON serves is filed under a "Governor's Melaka Birthday Special" name, which explains the odd-looking four-day window.

24 August 2026 is the Birthday of the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Melaka, a public holiday inside Melaka and nowhere else. That turns Friday 21 to Monday 24 August into a four-day weekend for Melakans and a three-day weekend for anyone travelling in, and AEON has priced the whole stretch as one event rather than a Saturday-Sunday flash.

Two practical consequences. Sunday 23 August is the eve of a public holiday, so both malls run their extended hours — 10.00am to 10.30pm — rather than closing at 10.00pm. And Monday 24 August is a working day everywhere except Melaka, so if you are driving down from Seremban, Johor or the Klang Valley for the last day, you are the one taking leave, and you will be sharing the aisles with a full state on holiday.

Fresh food: where the cuts are actually deep

The fresh counters carry the single best line on the catalogue. Bawal hitam (black pomfret), 300–500g, drops from RM11.90 to RM6.90 a piece — a 42% cut, and the sort of price that justifies a cooler box in the boot.

The rest of the fresh page, with AEON's own normal prices in brackets:

  • Marinated Chicken Chop — RM2.09/100g (NP RM2.69/100g)
  • Marinated Lamb Chump Chop — RM5.09/100g (NP RM5.19/100g)
  • Norway Fresh Fjord Trout Steak Cut — RM7.49/100g (NP RM8.99/100g)
  • Bawal Hitam 300–500g — RM6.90/pc (NP RM11.90)
  • Small Pak Choy 250g — RM1.90 each (NP RM2.50)
  • China Shine Muscat Seedless Grapes 500g — RM8.90/pack (NP RM14.90)

Read the unit, not the number. The proteins are priced per 100g, which is how AEON's fresh counters normally label. RM2.09/100g is RM20.90 a kilogram for marinated chicken chop; the trout is RM74.90 a kilogram. Neither is expensive for what it is, but a shopper who reads "RM2.09" as a per-pack price is going to get a surprise at the scale.

And one line here is essentially decoration. The lamb chump chop is cut from RM5.19 to RM5.09 per 100g — ten sen per 100g, or RM1 on a full kilo. It is on the catalogue, it is technically a discount, and it should not move your plans.

Ready-to-eat and packaged food rounds out the page: AEON Delicatessen Nasi Ayam Chicken Chop Teriyaki Bakar at RM10 a set (NP RM12.90), Tempura Lava assorted RM8 each (NP RM8.90), La Boheme Floss Bun RM3.90 single or any 2 for RM7, Yakult Ace Light Double 10 x 80ml RM10.99 (NP RM11.90), Tropicana Twister sealed twinpack 2 x 1.5L RM9.99 (NP RM12.70) and Wall's Magnum Mini 6 x 45ml RM16.90 (NP RM18.85).

Groceries and household: the quiet workhorses

This is the section that pays for the trip if you were restocking anyway.

  • Sunwhite Jasmine Rice 10kg — RM58.99 (NP RM73.34); 5kg RM29.99 (NP RM36.64)
  • Top Liquid Detergent 3.6kg — RM18.50 (NP RM26.50) — a 30% cut, the deepest on this page
  • Nescafé 3-in-1, 25's x 18g — RM11.39 (NP RM16.75)
  • Maggi Instant Noodle 5 x 77–79g (Curry/Chicken) — RM4.19 (NP RM5.79)
  • Buruh Cooking Oil 5kg — RM28.99 (NP RM30.85)
  • 100 Plus Isotonic 1.5L — RM2.99 (NP RM4.10)
  • Vinda Deluxe Kitchen Towel / Paper Rolls 6 x 60's–80's — RM12.90 (NP RM15.30)
  • Downy Fabric Softener Refill 1.1L–1.48L — RM16.90 (NP RM19.55)
  • Drypers Mega Pack Wee Wee Dry — RM26.90 each; Drypantsz — RM28.90 each (NP RM37.50)
  • Mister Potato Potato Chips 118–125g — RM5.66 single, any 3 for RM10
  • Hansung Tea 1150g — RM41.70 single, any 2 for RM59

Two of those bundles deserve the maths. Mister Potato at three for RM10 is RM3.33 a canister against RM5.66 single — you save RM6.98 by taking three, one of the better per-unit swings in the catalogue. Hansung Tea at two for RM59 is RM29.50 a jar against RM41.70 — RM24.40 saved, but only if a second 1,150g jar of tea is genuinely something your household will finish.

Fashion, baby and toys

The apparel page runs on bundle pricing rather than percentage-off tickets:

  • SCAR Denim Long Pants — RM49 single, any 2 for RM70 (RM35 each; RM28 saved on the pair)
  • Guys' Vision Denim / Chino Long Pants — RM59–RM69 single, any 2 for RM100
  • Scarlet Bodysuit Shapewear — RM30 each (NP RM59) — a straight 49% cut
  • JKids Boy/Girl Long Sleeve Pyjamas — RM20 each (NP RM29)
  • Gallivant Luggage 20" — RM159 each (NP RM239)

There is also a flat RM10 each zone covering JKids Boy/Girl Table Tee (NP RM11.90–RM15.90), JBaby tee and legging (NP RM13–RM13.90), Pureen Liquid Cleanser 600ml (NP RM13.90) and Pureen Baby Wipes 2 x 80's (NP RM10.90). Note how uneven that is: the Pureen cleanser at RM10 is a 28% cut, while the baby wipes at RM10 save you 90 sen. Same shelf, same flash, very different value.

Toys: Hot Wheels Basic Car RM10.90 single or any 4 for RM30 (RM7.50 each — RM13.60 saved across four), Play-Doh Modelling Dough 112g single can RM5.90 or any 2 for RM10, and a GT Sports Big Wheel Scooter 79 x 54 x 13cm at RM69 (NP RM99). Drypers Baby Head To Toe 650ml is RM11 (NP RM16.40).

Electricals: where membership is worth RM726

The back page is the reason to care about your AEON account. Three lines carry an "AEON Member Special" flash, and AEON prints the non-member price directly beside each one:

  • Tefal Garment Steamer IXEOQT15 + Frypan 26cm, combo — RM709 a set for members against RM1,299 for non-members: a RM590 gap
  • ELBA Circulation Fan 8" ESF-R0803/1004, black — RM99 a unit for members against RM199: a RM100 gap
  • Panasonic Blender MX-EP3172WSK, 1L, 450W, 2 jugs — RM149 a unit for members against RM185: a RM36 gap

Buy all three as a member and you pay RM957. Buy all three without membership recognised at the till and you pay RM1,683 — a RM726 difference on the same trolley. Membership is free to join: AEON's loyalty programme runs through the AEON Wallet Malaysia app, and AEON's own note is explicit that member recognition means scanning your membership card or the barcode in the app when checking out at the counter. Do it in the car park, not in the queue.

The televisions are open to everyone and are the biggest ringgit cuts in the catalogue:

  • Samsung 55" 4K AI TV UA55U8500HKXXM — RM1,799/unit (NP RM2,999) — RM1,200 off, 40%
  • TCL 65" 4K Google TV 65P6L — RM1,999/unit (NP RM2,899) — RM900 off, 31%

Also on the page: Bergner Bluesteel Saucepan with Lid 18cm RM99 (NP RM129), Letgo Bath Towel 27 x 54" RM20 (NP RM25.90), Chill Cozy Bath Towel 70 x 140cm RM39 (NP RM49), and ST Luna coloured/watercolour pencils RM10 (NP RM15.90).

And then the line that proves you should always do the division: Home Coordy Cotton Pillow 48 x 71cm, RM19.90 single or buy 4 for RM78. Four at the single price is RM79.60. The bundle saves you RM1.60 in total — 40 sen a pillow. Compare that with the Home Coordy T-Shirt Hanger 15pcs, RM9.90 single or any 2 for RM15, which saves RM4.80 on a much smaller spend.

Four baskets, with the real totals

The long-weekend grill (family of four). 1kg marinated chicken chop (RM20.90), 500g lamb chump chop (RM25.45), two bawal hitam (RM13.80), two packs pak choy (RM3.80), Shine Muscat grapes (RM8.90), three 100 Plus 1.5L (RM8.97) and a box of Magnum Mini (RM16.90). Total RM98.72 against RM127.70 at normal prices — RM28.98 saved, about 23%.

The pantry restock. Sunwhite 10kg rice (RM58.99), Nescafé 3-in-1 (RM11.39), two Maggi 5-packs (RM8.38), Buruh 5kg oil (RM28.99), Top detergent 3.6kg (RM18.50), Downy refill (RM16.90) and Vinda kitchen towels (RM12.90). Total RM156.05 against RM193.87 — RM37.82 saved, about 20%.

The baby basket. One Drypers Mega Pack (RM26.90), Drypers Baby Head To Toe 650ml (RM11), Pureen Liquid Cleanser (RM10) and Pureen Baby Wipes 2 x 80's (RM10). Total RM57.90 against RM78.70 — RM20.80 saved, about 26%.

The one that needs a card. Tefal combo, ELBA fan and Panasonic blender: RM957 as a member, RM1,683 as a walk-in. No other basket on this catalogue moves that much money on a single scan.

Who should go — and who should not

Worth the trip: Melaka households restocking anyway, anyone in the market for a 55" or 65" TV this year, parents buying diapers and baby toiletries in bulk, and existing AEON members eyeing a small appliance. The fresh-fish price alone is worth building a Saturday morning around.

Worth skipping: anyone driving in from outside Melaka purely for groceries. The pantry basket above saves RM37.82; a return trip from Kuala Lumpur burns most of that in fuel and tolls before you have parked. If you are already coming down for the long weekend, fold it in — do not make it the reason.

Check before you commit: shoppers chasing one specific advertised item. AEON's own framing is that this is a sale across departments, not a guarantee that every product in a department is discounted, and stock on the deepest cuts — the pomfret, the two TVs, the member-priced electricals — is finite over four days that include a public holiday.

After Monday: what is still running at AEON

The Melaka catalogue expired at close on Monday 24 August, but several of AEON's national campaigns overlapped it or outlast it, and both Melaka stores are in scope. All of the below was checked against AEON's own promotion index on 24 August 2026 and still stood on 25 August.

AEON Weekend Special Deals, 24-25 August 2026. This one overlaps the Melaka sale's final day and then runs a day longer, so a Tuesday shopper still has something. The footer on AEON's poster is explicit about the scope: it runs at AEON STYLE Taman Maluri and all AEON stores except AEON Ipoh Falim, Kuantan, United Point (Kepong) and Danga Bay (JB) - neither Melaka store is excluded. It is a home-and-electricals list, with normal prices printed the same way the Melaka flyer does it:

  • Sleeping Partner Breezy Trifold Mattress - RM239 each (NP RM259)
  • Letgo Dobby Fitted Sheet & Quilt Cover Set, super single to king - RM159-RM369 a set (NP RM179-RM439)
  • Bergner Expectore Cookware Series, assorted - RM39-RM79 each (NP RM49-RM119)
  • Corelle 5pc Carafe & Mug Set, assorted - RM99 (NP RM129)
  • Scotch Brite NT7 Dual Spin Mop, green - RM129 (NP RM199)
  • CD26 Cushion 45 x 45cm - RM39 (NP RM49), and the SH Shopping Cart - RM39 (NP RM49)
  • Tokidoki backpack, Unicornos or Donutella - RM20 (NP RM59.90)

It carries its own member-only lines, priced exactly the way the Melaka electricals are, with the non-member price printed beside:

  • ELBA Blender EBG-J1536(WH), 2 jugs - RM89 member, RM139 non-member
  • Midea Jar Rice Cooker MRM18010BDG - RM89 member, RM119 non-member
  • Khind 9-inch Circulation Stand Fan AC9508SA with remote, khaki - RM129 member, RM149 non-member
  • SonicGear Sonicbar HD7000 Ultra Bass - RM199 member, RM239 non-member

Worth comparing before you commit to a fan: the Melaka-only ELBA 8-inch circulation fan at RM99 for members undercuts the national Khind 9-inch at RM129 for members - but only until Monday closes.

AEON Thank You Day, Saturday 29 August 2026. Members only, and it is a recurring fixture rather than a one-off: AEON's own artwork states it falls on the last Saturday of every month from April to October 2026. The mechanic is an RM5 e-voucher for every RM80 spent in a single receipt, storewide, usable at AEON's supermarket, clothing, children, home and electrical sections - but not at AEON Wellness, Petemo Petlife Store or MollyFantasy.

Read the exclusions before you build the basket, because they land on exactly the lines this catalogue is strongest on. Government-controlled products do not count towards the RM80 - local rice, palm oil, sugar and flour. So the Sunwhite 10kg rice and the Buruh 5kg cooking oil from the pantry basket above, RM87.98 between them, contribute nothing at all to the threshold. Also excluded: festive hampers, infant milk powder, Eu Yan Sang products and Apple products, plus non-merchandise such as gift and mooncake vouchers, AEON Star Rewards items, bags, stamps, cigarettes, telco reloads, Touch 'n Go and AEON Member Plus Visa top-ups, and the Visa card renewal fee.

The month-long campaigns. AEON's promotion index carries these too, each dated by AEON itself and each still open after the Melaka sale closes: Value Buys "Pasti Jimat" (17-30 August), Smart Buys for Your Home (17-30 August), Comfort & Support (20-31 August), Crunch More, Munch More (19-31 August), Global Picks Import & Indent Special (16-31 August), Baby Fair Bonanza Part 3 (13-31 August), Oriental Fest (3-31 August) and Petemo Value Buys (17 August-13 September).

One to ignore: Hot Deals of the Week (17-31 August) sits on the same index page but is an AEON Kuantan flyer. It is not a Melaka offer.

Store details and fine print

AEON Bandaraya Melaka — 2, Jalan Lagenda, Taman 1 Lagenda, 75400 Melaka. Tel 06-281 6398. Sunday to Thursday 10.00am–10.00pm; Friday, Saturday and eve of public holiday 10.00am–10.30pm.

AEON Melaka (Ayer Keroh) — Leboh Ayer Keroh, 75450 Melaka. Tel 06-233 2988. Same hours: Sunday to Thursday 10.00am–10.00pm; Friday, Saturday and eve of public holiday 10.00am–10.30pm.

Worth knowing before you go:

  • Two stores only. Other AEON outlets are not running these prices.
  • All offers are while stocks last, and promotional items are subject to availability.
  • "NP" on the catalogue means normal price — it is AEON's own reference figure, and it is what makes each line checkable.
  • Member prices need the scan. The card or the AEON Wallet barcode has to be presented at the counter; produce it before the cashier totals your bill.
  • Bundle prices need the full quantity. "Any 3 for RM10" is not a per-unit price; buying two gets you the single price on both.
  • Sunday 23 August closes at 10.30pm (eve of public holiday); Monday 24 August is a Melaka public holiday, so expect holiday crowds and holiday parking.

Full details are on AEON's own promotion page for the sale, where all four catalogue pages are published.
