The 1 November Update: Both October Replacements Have Ended Too
Re-checked on each brand's own page on 1 November 2026. The two successor deals this page pointed to in October have now run out:
- AEON's 42nd-anniversary Spend & Win (RM42 in one receipt, Batik Air tickets) closed on 31 October. Its poster is still on AEON's promotions index, but the dates printed on it end there. The SPayLater contest's winners were due the same day, so check AEON's site or app if you entered.
- LG Celebrate A Better Home at Harvey Norman counts purchases only to today, 1 November 2026. If you have already bought, Harvey Norman's terms give you until 30 November 2026 to redeem the Touch 'n Go eWallet credit and free gift by uploading your invoice on the redemption form.
What is live now, with the dates printed on each brand's own page:
- AEON Deepavali hamper vouchers, 22 October to 9 November 2026. Spend RM100 to RM499 on AEON pre-packed hampers in one receipt and get an RM5 AEON Promotion Voucher for every RM100. From RM500 it is RM10 per RM100, so RM50 on RM500 to RM599, up to RM90 on RM900 to RM999. The poster's footnote says voucher redemption does not apply to gift sets and gift boxes. Participating: AEON, AEON MaxValu Prime and myAEON2go.
- AEON murukku gift, 7 to 9 November 2026. Spend RM100 (AEON member) or RM150 (non-member) in one receipt storewide for a box of murukku. One per member, per receipt, per day, collected the same day at the customer service counter, and limited to 100 redemptions a day. Not at AEON STYLE Supermarket Setia EcoHill, AEON United Point (Kepong) or AEON Danga Bay (JB).
- Harvey Norman Big Upgrades Bigger Savings, 12 October to 4 November 2026, in-store and online. Examples from the page: LG 55-inch QNED86 Mini LED TV at RM3,997 (was RM5,699), Electrolux UltimateCare 300 9kg front loader at RM1,942 (was RM2,529) and a Philips Series 3000 7.2L air fryer at RM598 (was RM779). Toshiba's and Hisense's brand promos there still run to 31 December.
- Samsung Bring Home a Little Wonder is unchanged: 1 October to 31 December 2026, redeem rewards by 15 January 2027.
- MINISO still has no published Malaysian sale as of 1 November.
Worked example: an AEON member buying two RM180 hampers on one receipt (RM360) gets RM15 in vouchers (the RM300 to RM399 tier). Paying for them on two separate receipts gets RM5 each, RM10 in total, so keep hamper purchases on one receipt. Do it between 7 and 9 November and the same receipt also clears the RM100 murukku threshold.
Who should skip: if you are not buying pre-packed hampers, the voucher tiers do nothing for you, and the murukku box is the only storewide AEON gift left this week. Anyone holding out for a Merdeka price should stop waiting: none of these four chains has brought one back.
The Verdict on 11 October: All Four Are Over
This page has tracked four Merdeka Month chain campaigns since 6 August 2026. Each was re-checked on the brand's own site on 11 October 2026. Every one of them has now ended:
- AEON Retail: the Merdeka campaign ended on 31 August. The separate AEON x SPayLater contest it overlapped with closed its last qualifying window on 25 September.
- MINISO: the Merdeka Sale ended on 31 August. No successor sale has been published.
- Harvey Norman: the Merdeka Super Sale ran 30 July to 2 September. Its page now returns "Page Not Found".
- Samsung: Dari Kita Untuk Kita 2026 ran 1 July to 30 September. The campaign page is still up, but its own fine print dates it to 30 September.
If you landed here looking for a Merdeka discount to use today, there isn't one from these four. The rest of this page covers the two deadlines that still affect anyone who bought during Merdeka Month, and what each chain is running in October instead.
Two October Deadlines (Both Now Passed)
1. Samsung's eWallet credit: redeem by 15 October 2026. The Dari Kita Untuk Kita gift-with-purchase paid up to RM1,600 in Touch 'n Go eWallet credit on selected TVs, sound devices and home appliances. That credit is not paid automatically at the till. Samsung's own terms say redemption is valid from 1 July to 15 October 2026 and "may vary depending on purchase platforms". If you bought from a dealer rather than Samsung's online store, check that dealer's redemption steps now, because the window closes in days, not weeks.
2. AEON's SPayLater contest: winners on 31 October 2026. The AEON x SPayLater "Shop Smart, Win Bigger" contest asked for RM10 in one receipt, paid with SPayLater (not the ShopeePay wallet balance). Round 2 qualified purchases from 24 August to 25 September. Per AEON's terms, the 25 Supermarket Sweep winners (capped at RM2,000 of trolley value) and 50 RM200 SPayLater voucher winners are announced on 31 October 2026. There is nothing left to enter, but if you took part, that is the date to watch.
AEON in October: Spend & Win to 31 October, Deepavali Rewards from 12 October
AEON's promotions index now leads with its 42nd-anniversary Spend & Win, sponsored by Batik Air, running 1 September to 31 October 2026:
- Minimum spend: RM42 in a single receipt, then scan the QR code on the poster to join.
- Grand prize: one pair of return economy tickets to Tokyo on Batik Air.
- Consolation prizes: 41 pairs of return economy tickets to other Batik Air destinations, plus 1,000 Zootopia 2 20-inch cabin luggage sets (red or blue).
- Participating stores printed on the poster: AEON Mall, AEON, AEON STYLE Supermarket, AEON MaxValu Prime, AEON Wellness, myAEON2go, Daiso, Tsutaya Bookstore AEON Tebrau City and Petemo.
Note the difference from the old SPayLater contest: that one excluded myAEON2go and had to be paid with SPayLater. This one lists myAEON2go and sets no payment-method rule on the poster.
From 12 October 2026, while stocks last, AEON also runs Deepavali Exclusive Rewards:
- Deepavali money packets: spend RM100 (AEON member) or RM150 (non-member) in one receipt, storewide.
- Deepavali bag: spend RM250 (member) or RM300 (non-member) in one receipt at AEON's General Merchandise (GMS) department. myAEON2go purchases do not qualify for the bag.
- Limits: up to three money packets and two bags per customer, per receipt, per day. Redemption is first-come, first-served and must be on the same day as the purchase.
- Not at: AEON STYLE Supermarket Setia EcoHill, AEON United Point (Kepong), AEON Danga Bay (JB) and AEON Kuantan.
Worked example: a member who spends RM260 in one GMS receipt on 12 October qualifies for a money packet (RM100 tier), a Deepavali bag (RM250 tier) and a Spend & Win entry (RM42 tier). A non-member spending the same RM260 gets the money packet and the Spend & Win entry, but falls RM40 short of the RM300 bag tier.
Harvey Norman in October: 10.10 Sale, Then Brand Promos
The Merdeka Super Sale URL is dead, and Harvey Norman moved straight to a 10.10 Sale Comes Early. Its terms date it to 5–11 October 2026, in-store and online. Sample prices on that page (Harvey Norman's own was/now figures):
- Samsung 65-inch Crystal UHD U8500H 2026 TV: RM2,697, was RM3,799
- LG 20kg Slim Front Load Washer (F2520SNEK): RM3,947, was RM5,039
- Dyson Clean + Wash Hygiene floor cleaner: RM1,998, was RM2,499
- Sharp 20L microwave: RM218, was RM329
The 10.10 terms also list a doubled tech rebate: RM10 + RM10 on selected audio from RM200, and RM100 + RM100 on selected mobiles from RM2,000.
The brand promos on the same page run longer, and the dates are Harvey Norman's own:
- LG Celebrate A Better Home: 1 August to 1 November 2026. This was the LG Merdeka promotion and is the only Merdeka-season brand deal still live. Product cards show an RM200 instant rebate on selected LG NANO TVs.
- JBL Soundbar Double Up: 13 August to 31 October 2026.
- HONOR: 1 to 31 October. Snapdragon Powers Your Dream: 1 October to 20 December.
- Toshiba The Dazzling Lights Season and Hisense Innovating A Brighter Healthy Life: both 1 October to 31 December 2026.
The Sony Merdeka promotion that sat alongside the Merdeka Super Sale is labelled 31 July to 4 October, so it has ended. Harvey Norman's Factory Outlet Unbeatable Sale is listed, but its page prints no end date. Its LG 65-inch NANO NU85 is RM2,797 (was RM3,599), the same price the Factory Direct Merdeka Sale showed in August. In this case, the Merdeka "deal" price simply carried on.
Samsung in October: Bring Home a Little Wonder to 31 December
Samsung's replacement campaign is Bring Home a Little Wonder, running 1 October to 31 December 2026 on selected TVs, sound devices and home appliances, while stocks last. The rewards named in its terms are Touch 'n Go eWallet credit, an OGAWA EM-X Eye Massager, an OGAWA Mobile Shiatsu LITE Back Massager and a Unifi TV subscription pack. Redemption runs 1 October 2026 to 15 January 2027.
One oddity worth knowing: the washer-and-dryer pairing card on the new page (up to RM500 eWallet credit) is already marked "Expired". Don't plan a purchase around that pairing bonus without confirming it at the till.
MINISO: Still Nothing Published
MINISO Malaysia's Merdeka Sale ran 5 to 31 August 2026. It offered buy-one-free-one on selected iMeilly press-on nails and 31% off selected FIFA, Coca-Cola and The Legend of Hei collectibles. MINISO does not run a Malaysian e-commerce site, and a fresh search on 11 October found no announced October campaign. Its official social channels remain the only place one would appear.
What Merdeka Month Taught Us
- Nothing pinned to 31 August outlived it. The only Merdeka-season offer still running in October is LG's at Harvey Norman, and it was dated to 1 November from the start, not extended.
- The redemption deadline is a second deadline. Samsung's sale ended on 30 September, but the money only reaches you if you redeem by 15 October.
- Some "deal" prices are just prices. The LG 65-inch NANO TV costs the same at Harvey Norman's Factory Outlet today as it did in the Merdeka sale.
