> Quick view: the 9.9 Crazy Shopping Festival's own banner still reads OFFICIAL CAMPAIGN: 30 AUG – 10 SEP, and that window closed yesterday. But Universal Traveller did not end the sale — at 02:27 on 11 September 2026 it re-cut every luggage listing under a new [All Sizes Madness] prefix. The hour-by-hour doorbusters are gone. In exchange, the two flagships that were sold out in every size and colour last week are back on the shelf: Terminal Trunk at RM199 flat and Terminal Prime at RM179 flat.
What actually changed overnight
Every luggage product on universaltraveller.com carries a timestamp of 2026-09-11T02:27 MYT. That is the moment the brand rewrote the campaign, and three things happened at once.
The 9.9 Shocking Sale listings were deleted. Across the store's full 900-product catalogue, not one product title contains "9.9 Shocking Sale" any more. The RM19 Trapez, the RM29 Sierra, the RM49 Terminal Prime and the rest of the 9 September timetable no longer exist as buyable items.
The 9.9 collections were emptied of luggage. Checked this morning, `2026-99-crazy-shopping-festival`, `2026-99-all-bundle-set`, `2026-99-pp-unbreakable-luggage`, `2026-99-boots`, `2026-99-winterwear-men` and `2026-99-winterwear-women` all load normally but return zero products. On a Shopify store that is proof of expiry, not a pause.
And the SALE menu was cut back. It previously listed 9.9 Shocking Sale, Crazy Daily Surprises and 9.9 Crazy Shopping Festival. Today it lists exactly one campaign — 9.9 Crazy Shopping Festival — and that collection is empty. The other two entries are gone.
So the timetable is dead. What replaced it is simpler, and for most buyers it is better.
[All Sizes Madness]: five ranges, one price per range
Five luggage lines now carry the [All Sizes Madness] prefix, and the mechanic is exactly what the name says — one price, whatever size you take. Because the list price climbs with size while the sale price does not, the 28" or 30" always carries the deepest discount. The full line-up, with live stock, is in the table above.
The headline is the Terminal Trunk at RM199, identical at 24", 26" and 30". A week ago this listing had zero of its 16 size-and-colour combinations in stock. Today 13 of 18 are available, including all three sizes in Titanium, Jet Black and Cherry. The 30" against a RM998 list price is 80.1% off — the deepest single-case discount in the store.
Level with it is the URBANlite Sierra 28" at RM139 against RM698, also 80.1% off. The Sierra is fully in stock, nine of nine.
Terminal Prime returns at RM179 across 20", 24" and 28", up from zero stock last week to 11 of 18 — though see the catch below. The newest of the five, URBANlite Savannah at RM149, is the only one fully in stock across every size and colour, twelve of twelve. URBANlite Verge, the PP Unbreakable option, is RM199 flat and also fully in stock.
The catch: "All Sizes" is true by size, not by colour
Universal Traveller has a habit of naming a listing after a flat price that is not quite flat. Last time it was the Trapez, sold as *ALL Sizes at RM129* when it actually read RM129, RM149 and RM179. This time the listing itself is honest about size — and breaks on colour.
Open [All Sizes Madness] Terminal Prime and five of its six colourways price at RM179 at every size: Titanium, Dark Navy, Rose, Bronze and Pine Green. The sixth, Ballerina, prices at RM199 / RM219 / RM239 by size inside the same listing.
The reason is that Ballerina is not really part of this range. It is the Terminal Prime – Birthday Collection, a separate product the store also sells on its own at exactly those three prices — folded into the Madness listing as a colour option. If you pick Ballerina you pay up to RM60 more than the person who picked Rose, on what looks like the same page. Only the 24" Ballerina is in stock anyway.
The other four Madness ranges — Trunk, Sierra, Savannah, Verge — are genuinely flat at every size and every colour.
Yesterday's best buy is today's worst: the Cubo went up RM61
The single most important price change is one the brand did not announce. On 5 September the URBANlite Cubo was RM138 flat at 20", 24" and 28" — we called the 28" the deepest live discount in the sale at 80.2% off RM698.
That is over. The Cubo is no longer an All Sizes listing and no longer flat. It now reads RM139 at 20", RM169 at 24" and RM199 at 28". The 28" is RM61 more expensive than it was six days ago.
If you were waiting on a 28" Cubo, the replacement is the Sierra 28" at RM139 or the Savannah 28" at RM149 — both flat, both cheaper than the Cubo now is, and both in full stock.
The other ranges that lost their flat pricing read the same way: Trapez at RM129/RM149/RM179, Novus at RM129/RM149/RM179, Rayer and Gummy at RM139/RM169/RM199, Rubik at RM149/RM189/RM219 and Sage at RM189/RM209/RM239. None of these is a bad price — they are simply priced by size again, so the big case no longer carries a bonus discount.
Bundles now beat singles nearly everywhere — the opposite of last week
This is the cleanest reversal of the week, and it follows directly from the restock. When the singles were sold out, bundles were the *only* route into Terminal — so the question of whether they were good value did not arise. Now that singles are back at a fixed price, the arithmetic works again, and it favours the bundle almost every time.
Working from today's single prices, with Buy 2 Free 2 two-piece sets including a Quick Dry Towel and Luggage Tag, and Buy 3 Free 4 three-piece sets including a 3-in-1 Travel Kit and tag:
- URBANlite Verge 3-in-1, RM499. Three singles cost RM597. Saves RM98 — the largest bundle saving in the store.
- URBANlite Verge 20"+24", RM339 against RM398 for two singles. Saves RM59.
- Terminal Prime 20"+24", RM309 against RM358. Saves RM49.
- Terminal Trunk 24"+30", RM369 against RM398. Saves RM29, and you get the 30" either way.
- Terminal Prime 3-in-1, RM499 against RM537. Saves RM38.
- URBANlite Sierra 3-in-1, RM389 against RM417. Saves RM28.
Two bundles are still the old trap, priced RM1 above two singles: Terminal Trunk 26"+30" at RM399 (two singles RM398) and URBANlite Sierra 20"+28" at RM279 (two singles RM278). The Savannah 20"+28" at RM298 exactly matches two singles. In all three cases you are paying RM0 or RM1 for the free towel and luggage tag, so they are still worth taking — just know you are buying the gift, not a discount.
The one place singles clearly win is if you want two 30" Trunks: two singles at RM199 come to RM398, and no bundle pairs the 30" with itself.
The code the pop-up hands you: UT9CS19
Land on universaltraveller.com today and a pop-up opens with a RM19 voucher, code UT9CS19, fine print "T&Cs apply. Min spend RM300."
This replaces the UTKL15 code (RM15 off RM300) that this article tracked earlier in the campaign, and it is a straight improvement — RM4 more off the same threshold. It sits alongside, not instead of, the standing RM10 voucher for signing up to UTmate, the brand's membership programme.
RM300 is an awkward number against this price list, because the flat singles all land below it. Orders that clear it cleanly:
- Terminal Prime 20"+24" bundle, RM309 → RM290 after the code. The cheapest way to two Primes.
- URBANlite Verge 20"+24" bundle, RM339 → RM320.
- Terminal Trunk 24"+30" bundle, RM369 → RM350.
- URBANlite Verge 3-in-1, RM499 → RM480, and it clears the free-shipping line too.
Two Sierra singles at RM139 come to RM278 and miss the threshold by RM22 — adding any RM22 accessory turns RM300 into RM281 net, which is cheaper than stopping at RM278.
Free shipping is a separate mechanic and is back to its ordinary sitewide floor of RM380. The timed RM100 and RM150 windows that ran on 9 September are gone with the rest of the timetable.
What the site still gets wrong today
Three things on universaltraveller.com are stale as of this morning, and they are worth knowing before you trust a link:
- The homepage hero still advertises "OFFICIAL CAMPAIGN: 30 AUG – 10 SEP", a window that closed yesterday, above tiles labelled Buy 2 Free 2, All Sizes Madness and Buy 3 Free 4.
- The announcement bar still warns of 5–7 working day delivery "due to 9.9 Crazy Shopping Festival, and 9.9 Shocking Sale" — a sale whose listings no longer exist. Treat the delivery warning as probably still true and the campaign names as leftovers.
- Several hero buttons now lead to empty collections. "SHOP WOMEN" and "SHOP MEN" both point at `2026-99-winterwear-women` and `2026-99-winterwear-men`, which return zero products, and the top-level SALE link points at `2025-1111-biggest-shopping-festival` — last year's 11.11 collection, also empty.
There is no published end date for the All Sizes Madness pricing. The brand moved every price at 02:27 on a Friday morning without notice, which is the only guide to how much warning you will get next time.
The winter side of the sale is untouched
The luggage half of 9.9 was rebuilt; the winter-wear half was left alone. Those collections still hold stock and still hold their sale prices: winter accessories under RM19 (85 products, and 90 of its 91 variants genuinely price between RM5 and RM19, with one RM38 outlier), ski (10), kids (9), fleece jackets (8), thermal wear (7), Airways luggage (4) and knitwear (2).
Knitted hats at RM10 against RM48–RM58 are running at 79–83% off, the deepest percentages anywhere in the store, and junior knitted gloves are RM8 against RM38. If you are packing for a cold-weather trip, this side of the sale has moved less and is easier to shop than the luggage side.
How to pick, in one pass
- You want one big hard case, cheapest. Take the URBANlite Sierra 28" at RM139. Fully in stock, 80.1% off, and it is the lowest price on a 28" case in the store.
- You want the toughest big case. Take the Terminal Trunk 30" at RM199. Also 80.1% off, and the Trunk carries a TSA lock where the URBANlite ranges carry a combination lock.
- You want a matched set. Take the URBANlite Verge 3-in-1 at RM499. It saves RM98 against singles, clears the RM19 code and the RM380 free-shipping line in one order, and it is PP Unbreakable.
- You want a carry-on only. The flat pricing works against you at 20" — RM139 for a Sierra 20" is 72.1% off, the shallowest discount in the Madness set. Trapez or Novus 20" at RM129 is the cheaper carry-on.
- You should skip this entirely if you are shopping for a specific colour. Stock is now the binding constraint, not price: Terminal Trunk is out in Melon Green 24", Breeze Blue 24" and 30", and Pine Green 24" and 30", and Terminal Prime is out in the 20" of four of its six colourways.
Can you get these prices in a store?
Probably not. Unlike the 9 September listings, all five [All Sizes Madness] products sit inside Universal Traveller's own Online Exclusive collection — the brand's own tagging, and a reversal of where it stood a week ago, when none of the 9.9 listings carried that tag.
Universal Traveller runs 24 physical stores across seven state tabs: Kuala Lumpur (6), Selangor (7, including the IOI City Mall outlet filed there despite its Putrajaya address), Johor (4), Melaka (2), Pahang (2), Sarawak (2) and Penang (1). There is no store in Sabah, Perak, Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu, Negeri Sembilan or Perlis — for most of the country the website is the only channel, which makes the Online Exclusive tag academic.
Two other things worth a look while you are on the site, both outside the Madness pricing: the Terminal Vault, the brand's first aluminium-frame case, at RM369–RM419 against RM1,398–RM1,698, and its 20"+24" set at RM759 with a free silicone water bottle.
