Putrajaya's Parks and Sports Facilities 2026: The Netball Court Is Free, the Football Field at Night Is RM200
Perbadanan Putrajaya publishes an hourly rate card for its Taman Pancarona sports complex, and it settles a question most Klang Valley councils never answer in public. A sepak takraw court is RM2 an hour in daylight. A netball field is free, all day, every day, with no night rate at all because there are no lights. A football field is RM70 in the day, RM140 at night and RM200 on a public holiday night, which is nearly three times the daytime price. We also read the opening hours of six Putrajaya parks on 10 September 2026 and found one that closes every Monday and shuts for lunch on the days it does open, and one that Perbadanan Putrajaya lists as a public park but Google has no venue record for at all.
Lost World of Tambun's Own Promo Codes: RM40 Off an Ipoh Day Ticket, RM450 Off the Hot Springs Pass
Sunway Lost World of Tambun prints two promo codes on its own ticket store and explains neither. We put both through the cart on 7 September 2026, re-tested them on 8 September, and the results invert. On day tickets, WS2602MYKAD is the real one: a Malaysian adult theme park ticket falls from RM160 to RM120, a child from RM140 to RM103, and a night park adult from RM130 to RM100. WS2602ONLINE is worth only RM5 to RM7 there. On the Hot Springs and Night Park Annual Pass it is the other way round. WS2602MYKAD is refused outright, while WS2602ONLINE takes the pass from RM648 to RM198, a RM450 cut that pays for itself on your second night visit. Two things to know before you buy: the store accepts only one code per cart, so the pass and the day tickets have to be two separate transactions, and every night park ticket is void on the nine October and November nights that belong to Screamfest 5.
Sunway Lost World Hotel Stay & Play, from RM511: the Ipoh Room That Costs RM51 Once You Count the Tickets
Sunway Lost World Hotel in Ipoh is running a Stay & Play package to 30 September 2026, headlined "from RM511 per night" with theme park and hot springs entrance plus breakfast for two. We re-priced it on the hotel's own booking engine on 7 September 2026, searching 17 of the 23 remaining check-in dates. Every rate is unchanged: the same Exotic room without theme park tickets is RM387 on a Sunday-to-Thursday night, so the two park tickets cost RM124, or RM62 a head against a RM125 MyKad adult gate price. Three things did move. The hotel is closed on the night of Saturday 26 September and the engine refuses any stay covering it. Friday is priced identically to Saturday, not as a weekday. And a Monday check-in cannot be fixed by adding a night, because any stay with a closed Tuesday inside it loses the package.
Lexis Port Dickson: RM58 Fish Head Feast to 20 Sep, Kidz World Ends 6 Sep, MATTA Vouchers From RM200
Lexis Hotel Group ran two Merdeka offers in Port Dickson, and a week into September only one is still standing. The Grand Merdeka Fish Head Feast at Roselle Coffee House, Grand Lexis Port Dickson, runs to 20 September 2026: a whole fish head in curry or asam pedas with steamed rice, ulam, salted egg and Sago Gula Melaka for RM58 nett, plus five add-ons priced RM10 to RM25. The Kidz World Merdeka Fun Package at Lexis Hibiscus, RM55 nett per child, ends on 6 September with nothing replacing it on the resort's offers index. Neither was ever a room discount — but a third campaign that neither poster mentions is one: Lexis Golden Deals at MATTA Fair sells e-Room Vouchers from RM200 nett, valid a full year with no peak-season surcharge, until 9pm on 6 September. We read both campaign brochures, the MATTA rate card and the group's two terms and conditions PDFs this run, and the details that matter are the ones the posters never say out loud: there are three Lexis resorts in Port Dickson and two of them publish the same street address, three of the group's restaurants are called Roselle Coffee House, the RM50 breakfast voucher saves you nothing at one property, and every Port Dickson stay carries a RM4 a night state levy that is never inside the quoted rate.

Most Kuantan itineraries are copied from each other, and most of them still send you to attractions that are currently closed. Majlis Bandaraya Kuantan runs its own tourism portal listing hours, distances and ticket prices for every stop in the district, and read carefully it says two useful things nobody repeats. First, the Sungai Lembing mine tunnel, Bukit Panorama and the Cherating Turtle Sanctuary are all listed as closed for maintenance — three of the town's postcard stops, gone from the plan. Second, the prices are not what aggregators quote: Menara Kuantan 188's own ticketing site charges a Malaysian adult RM13 for the Observation Deck from Monday to Thursday but RM23 from Friday to Sunday and on public and school holidays, against RM38 for an international visitor on any day; the Sungai Lembing museum is RM2 with children free, Gua Charas is RM2, and the state's royal weaving complex is free. The strangest number sits at Jeti Shahbandar, where two river cruises leave from the same jetty at RM99 and RM18 a head. We re-read the campaign page, the event guide, both offer pages, the Family Pass pages and the Scheduled Ride Closures list on legoland.com.my, priced all three routes for a couple and a family of four, and found The Forestmen's Hideout is no longer down until 31 August but closed until further notice.

Resorts World Genting has finally put up its 2026 Merdeka campaign — Merdeka Cara Kita, Bebas Tanpa Batas — and the single most useful line in it is a RM38 one-day ticket to Genting SkyWorlds for senior citizens aged 60 and above, children between 90cm and 110cm, and guests with disabilities, live from 17 August. Around it sits a shop-and-play carnival at SkyAvenue with RM269 and RM369 receipt thresholds, three free days of Merdeka activities at Resorts World Awana, a five-artist National Day concert at Arena of Stars from RM148, a Merdeka lobster menu, and 40% off villa stays. It is a campaign built out of a dozen separate offers with a dozen separate end dates — here is which ones are worth the drive up, and which ones quietly are not.
