> Quick view, checked 23 September 2026: the RM58 Grand Merdeka Fish Head Feast at Grand Lexis Port Dickson ran from 17 August to 20 September 2026 and has ended — its offer page now redirects to the offers index. What the resort sells now is its everyday dining, and Roselle and UMI both publish full menus with nett, SST-inclusive prices. The standout is the Scrummy Chicken Combo at Roselle Coffee House: RM42 nett for six pieces of boneless chicken, fries and a 1.5-litre soft drink. UMI Japanese Restaurant's set meals run RM49 to RM82 nett. Before you drive, call 06-653 2000 — the resort's own pages disagree on two sets of opening hours.

The feast is over; here is what replaced it

This page used to cover a single dish: one fish head in curry or asam pedas for RM58 nett at Roselle Coffee House, served with rice, ulam, salted egg and Sago Gula Melaka. That offer ended on Sunday 20 September 2026. When we re-read grandlexispd.com/offers on 23 September, it listed 21 offers and the fish head feast was not among them; its old URL now returns a redirect.

Nothing on the index has taken its place as a single headline dish. What remains are three standing F&B promotions — the Scrummy Chicken Combo, UMI's Sizzling Teppanyaki Promotion and the weekend live music at Lanun — plus the resort's ordinary menus. Those menus are the more useful find, because Grand Lexis publishes them in full with prices, which lets you cost a meal before you get in the car. Roselle Coffee House: the RM42 chicken bucket and the full menu

Roselle is the resort's all-day restaurant: 140 seats on the Ground Floor of the Main Building, air-conditioned indoors with alfresco tables facing the sea, open 7am to 11pm daily, with room service 7am to 2am. Bookings on ext. 3351.

The Scrummy Chicken Combo is the one promotion here with a printed price. The brochure lists two sizes, both in black pepper or crispy garlic coating:

  • Combo A, RM42 nett — 6 pieces boneless crispy chicken, French fries, a 1.5-litre soft drink
  • Combo B, RM78 nett — 12 pieces boneless crispy chicken, French fries, a 1.5-litre soft drink
  • Room service add-on, RM5 — order on ext. 3350

To see why RM42 is the value item, price something similar off Roselle's own à la carte menu. Four Honey Chicken Wings are RM36, Truffle French Fries RM22 and a single soft drink RM15 — RM73 for fewer pieces of chicken and one glass instead of 1.5 litres. For a family, Combo B at RM78 works out to RM19.50 a head for four, which is below the price of any main course on the menu except the kids' section.

The rest of the menu, all nett with SST included, for planning a proper meal:

  • Kids: burger, pasta, fish & chips or fried rice RM22–24
  • Desserts: Mango Sago Gula Melaka RM28, Pandan Crème Brûlée RM28, Tiramisu RM32

UMI Japanese Restaurant: set meals from RM49

UMI sits on Level 2 of the Main Building, 48 seats, with a teppanyaki counter where the chefs cook in front of you. Bookings on ext. 3340. Its à la carte menu is printed with nett prices including 6% SST.

The Umi Teishoku set meals are the easiest way to eat here, because each one already includes miso soup, salad, steamed rice and cut fruit:

  • Tori Teriyaki Set (grilled chicken chop) — RM49
  • Shake Teriyaki Set (grilled salmon) — RM51
  • Katsu Set (breaded chicken or beef) — RM56
  • Gyu Yakiniku Set (stir-fried beef in a hot pan) — RM59
  • Unaju Set (grilled freshwater eel on rice, with chawan mushi) — RM82

À la carte runs from RM12 miso soup and RM15 edamame or chawan mushi to signature maki at RM42–48 (Spider Roll, California Roll, Umi Dragon Roll) and RM65 unagi kabayaki. Soft drinks are RM10; Tiger and Apple Fox RM35, Heineken RM38.

The separate Sizzling Teppanyaki Promotion offers à la carte teppanyaki with an upgrade to a value set for RM10 — but the offer page does not print the teppanyaki prices, so it cannot be costed in advance.

The hours problem: two pages, two answers

This is the part that can waste a drive. Grand Lexis publishes conflicting hours for both of its promoted outlets:

  • UMI. The restaurant's own dining page says 6:30pm to 10:30pm, open on Fridays and Saturdays only. The Sizzling Teppanyaki offer page says 6:30pm to 10pm, available daily, closed on Mondays. If the dining page is right, UMI is shut Sunday to Thursday.
  • Scrummy Chicken Combo. The offer page says Roselle serves it 11am to 1pm only. The brochure linked from that same page says "Roselle Restaurant 11.00 am – 11.00 pm". Room service is 11am to 1am on both.

We cannot tell you which is current, and neither can the resort's website. Call the extension — 3340 for UMI, 3350 for the combo — before you plan a weekday dinner around either.

Lanun and Pool Café

Lanun Restaurant & Bar (Ground Floor, 44 seats, 5pm to midnight daily, ext. 3352) is the resort's bar, with a pool table, darts and a small dance floor. Every Friday and Saturday, 9pm to 11:45pm, singer Shera performs ballads, jazz, pop, R&B and acoustic sets in Malay, English, Mandarin, Hindi and Indonesian. No cover charge is listed; you pay for your drinks. Reservations via asstmanager1@grandlexispd.com or ext. 3352.

Pool Café (poolside, 170 al fresco seats, 10am to 6pm daily) serves light bites and drinks. It publishes no menu.

If you are staying: the packages that include dinner

Three room packages fold a 4-course set dinner for two at Roselle and breakfast into a one-night stay, all limited to the Executive Pool Villa, Grand Pool Villa and Deluxe Suite, all non-cancellable once confirmed:

  • Half Board Package — adds a welcome fruit platter; book at least 3 days ahead
  • Relax & Reset Spa Package — adds a 60-minute LexSpa massage (Traditional or Balinese) for two; book at least 5 days ahead
  • Birthday Blast Package — adds a mini cake, a bottle of wine or sparkling juice and room decoration; book at least 5 days ahead

A third and fourth guest cost RM145 nett per adult and RM125 nett per child aged 7–12, including breakfast and the set dinner. The package pages do not print the room rate itself. Separately, the Tropical Escape offer runs to 15 December 2026: up to 15% off with breakfast when you book 30 days ahead, or up to 5% off plus a free KLIA transfer for two on stays of two nights or more. Every stay adds the Negeri Sembilan Fi Lestari of RM4 nett per room per night, collected at check-in.

How to pick

  • A cheap family lunch or a room-service night in: Combo B, RM78 for 12 pieces, RM83 delivered to the villa.
  • A sit-down dinner on a budget: Roselle's local mains at RM40 — the Salted Egg Fried Rice comes with ayam berempah and ulam, so it is a full plate.
  • Japanese for two: two UMI sets from RM98 (two Tori Teriyaki) to RM164 (two Unaju), before drinks — on a Friday or Saturday, when both pages agree UMI is open.
  • A night out: dinner, then Lanun from 9pm on a Friday or Saturday.
  • Skip Grand Lexis for a one-off meal if you are price-hunting: Port Dickson's kopitiam and fishing-village seafood cost less. The case for eating here is the setting, the parking and not having to leave the resort.
