The Danna Langkawi Residents' Rate: From RM1,188 a Night With Breakfast and Daily Credit, Stays to 30 November
The Danna Langkawi at Telaga Harbour has a limited-time rate for Malaysia and Singapore residents, from RM1,188 a night for stays from 1 October to 30 November 2026. It includes breakfast for two, return airport transfers and a daily RM100 resort credit (RM200 for suites and villas). Rechecked on 17 October, it was still RM1,198 a night with fees, about 48% below the resort's best available rate.
Impiana Hotel Ipoh After 10.10: Rooms From RM180, Now Free to Cancel, Plus an RM68 Deepavali Hi-Tea
Impiana Hotel Ipoh's 10.10 Double Deal closed on 22 October 2026. Its replacement, a Limited Time Escape rate at 55% off, starts at RM180 a night for a Deluxe before tax and can be cancelled free up to a day before arrival. We priced it on 23 October, compared it with 10.10, and added the new RM100 Day Use deal and the 8 November Deepavali hi-tea (RM68++, buy 5 get 1 free).
Amari SPICE Penang Room Sale: 20% Off, Now From RM320 a Night, Book by 31 October for Stays to 18 December
Amari SPICE Penang in Bayan Lepas sells rooms at 20% to 25% off for stays to 18 December 2026, booked direct by 31 October. Rates were cut again after launch: on 16 October a Deluxe King for 17 to 19 October was RM320 a night (RM288 for free ONYX members), down from RM360, plus 8% SST. The RM379 Stay Select package still beats the sale rate with breakfast.
Anantara Desaru Coast Deals After 10.10: Rates From RM1,500, Pool Villa Dream and Spa Offers
Anantara Desaru Coast's 10.10 free-upgrade window (book 6-12 October 2026) has closed. Re-checked on 22 October: the Advance Purchase (from RM1,600), Stay Longer (RM1,500) and Best Flexible (RM1,800) rates are unchanged, the Pool Villa Dream starts at RM3,978 a night with all meals, and two spa offers run to 20 and 31 December. Thistle Port Dickson Deals, October 2026: MAH Fair Vouchers Ended, Weekday Packages From RM288 Nett
Thistle Port Dickson's MAH Tourism Fair vouchers (Deluxe Garden from RM199 nett a night) were sold 2 to 4 October 2026 only, and the MATTA Fair rates stopped on 30 September. What you can still book is a set of direct-website packages valid to 31 December 2026. We priced them on the resort's booking engine on 5 October: a weekday Fly & Stay or Kayak & Stay night with breakfast for two is RM288.36 with tax, cheaper than the plain book-early breakfast rate.
Puteri Bay Hotel Melaka "Anak Selatan" Rate: RM160 Beach Stay With Breakfast for Melaka, NS and Johor IC Holders, October Only
Puteri Bay Hotel Melaka in Tanjung Kling is running its Khas Untuk Anak Selatan rate again for October 2026. If your MyKad says you were born in Melaka, Negeri Sembilan or Johor, a Superior room with breakfast for two is RM160 nett and a Family Room for three is RM260. On the hotel's booking engine the normal breakfast rate for the same rooms was RM190 to RM220 and RM300 to RM320, so a Saturday night saves RM60. One room per IC, booked on the hotel's website or at the counter.

G Hotel Gurney's Book Direct package runs for bookings and stays until 31 October 2026. On the hotel's own booking engine it prices every room 30% below the flexible rate, with RM50 dining credit a day, 8am check-in, 6pm check-out and a free extra bed for a third guest. A Deluxe with breakfast was RM667 on both a Wednesday and a Saturday.

The Lakehouse, the Tudor-style country house hotel at Ringlet in Cameron Highlands, is selling its Highland Escape rate at 25% below its Best Flexible Rate, with breakfast, tea and scones and a guided jungle trek included. It also runs three 2-night packages (Getaway, Intimate Romance and Family) valid to 20 or 31 December 2026. We priced all of them on the hotel's own booking engine and checked whether the packages beat adding the meals yourself.

PARKROYAL A'Famosa Melaka After Hour Sale: Rooms From RM325 With Breakfast, Booked 6pm to 8am Until 31 October 2026
PARKROYAL A'Famosa Melaka Resort in Alor Gajah is running an After Hour Sale that only appears on its booking engine between 6pm and 8am. A Superior Room with breakfast for two came to RM325 a night on a Sunday and RM375 on a Friday or Saturday, taxes included, against RM685 to RM735 for the resort's flexible rate. Stays must be done by 31 October 2026, and the booking is non-refundable.
Tanjong Jara Resort MATTA Residents' Package: RM799 a Night With All Meals for Two, Still Bookable After the Fair
The MATTA Fair ended on 6 September, but Tanjong Jara Resort in Dungun, Terengganu is still selling its MATTA Fair Residents' Package on its own booking engine: RM799 a night instead of RM1,299 for a Bumbung Room with breakfast, lunch and dinner for two, for stays to 31 March 2027. We priced it against the resort's other rates for October, the last month before the monsoon break.

The October Kaw Kaw and Ong Ong Escapes closed for booking on 10 October. Shangri-La's new Penang member offer is Stay More Save More: 22% off a minimum 3-night stay at Golden Sands (from RM406 a night) and Rasa Sayang (from RM624), with breakfast for two and a RM50 dining credit per stay. Book 15 Oct to 30 Nov for stays 1 Nov 2026 to 31 Mar 2027. We priced it in ringgit on 21 October against every other rate at both resorts, and the prepaid Saver Rate is still cheaper on paper.

Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Offers: Questers Family Room Launch Deal and RM178 Malam Kampung Buffet
Shangri-La Tanjung Aru in Kota Kinabalu has opened a new Questers Family Room with a launch offer of up to 20% off for stays of three nights or more until 30 November 2026. Its Thursday Malam Kampung buffet with bamboo dance and fire show costs RM178 nett per adult if you pre-book, against RM200 at the door. We read the fine print on both, including who the free breakfast actually covers.
Dusit Princess Ipoh Grand Opening Special: Rooms From RM232 With RM50 Dining Credit, Priced Against Its Own Rate Card
Dusit Princess Ipoh opens on 1 October 2026 in the building that was Travelodge Ipoh, next to the Perak Turf Club. Its Grand Opening Special runs for stays from 1 October to 31 December and adds RM50 of daily dining credit. We priced it on the hotel's live booking engine on 13 September and re-checked every rate on 20 September: a weekday Superior room is RM232 against RM290 on the flexible rate, a Saturday is RM256 against RM320, and RM232 becomes RM253.56 once tax is added. The catch is that the opening rate is prepaid and cannot be cancelled, changed or refunded.

Port Dickson is the beach Klang Valley families actually drive to, and it is also the beach people are quickest to dismiss — the Straits of Malacca here are silty rather than turquoise, and no brochure will change that. Which is why the smart way to book PD is to stop shopping for the sea and start shopping for the water that comes with your room. Six of the nine resorts below put a price on their own site. Four publish nightly rates: two with a private pool in the villa itself — Lexis Hibiscus from RM701.10, Grand Lexis from RM330 — and two with the room on stilts over the Straits, Avillion from RM280 for a Water Chalet and Lexis Port Dickson, the 242-room water-chalet resort most PD lists forget, from RM290 for a tower room and RM328 for a water chalet. Two more price whole packages instead: Thistle from RM499 nett for a midweek night with dinner, Corus Paradise at RM145 for a weekday Superior with breakfast. Only AnCasa, Pacific Regency and Klana Beach publish nothing. We re-read every rate off the resorts' own sites on 13 October 2026 — Grand Lexis and Lexis PD have both moved again since early September, and Thistle has withdrawn one of its priced packages — plus what replaced the fair, the government-retiree discount nobody writes up, and the RM4 per night Fi Lestari fee that applies to every Port Dickson stay.
